Ga-la-ti 6

1 Hỡi anh em, ví bằng có người nào tình cờ phạm lỗi gì, anh em là kẻ có Đức Thánh Linh, hãy lấy lòng mềm mại mà sửa họ lại; chính mình anh em lại phải giữ, e cũng bị dỗ dành chăng.

My friends, even if someone should be caught committing a sin, you who are spiritually minded should, in a gentle spirit, help them to recover themselves, taking care that you yourselves are not tempted.

2 Hãy mang lấy gánh nặng cho nhau, như vậy anh em sẽ làm trọn luật pháp của Đấng Christ.

Bear one another’s burdens, and so carry out the Law of the Christ.

3 Vì, nếu có ai, dầu mình không ra chi hết, mà cũng tưởng mình ra chi ấy là mình dối lấy mình.

If a person imagines themselves to be somebody, when they are really nobody, they deceive themselves.

4 Mỗi người phải thử xét việc làm của mình, thì sự khoe mình chỉ tại mình thôi, chớ chẳng phải tại kẻ khác.

Let everyone test their own work, and then their cause for satisfaction will be in themselves and not in a comparison with their neighbour;

5 Vì ai sẽ gánh lấy riêng phần nấy.

for everyone must bear their own load.

6 Kẻ nào mà người ta dạy đạo cho, phải lấy trong hết thảy của cải mình mà chia cho người dạy đó.

The person, however, who is being instructed in the message ought always to share their blessings with their teacher.

7 Chớ hề dối mình; Đức Chúa Trời không chịu khinh dể đâu; vì ai gieo giống chi, lại gặt giống ấy.

Do not be deceived. God cannot be mocked. What a person sows that they will reap.

8 Kẻ gieo cho xác thịt, sẽ bởi xác thịt mà gặt sự hư nát; song kẻ gieo cho Thánh Linh, sẽ bởi Thánh Linh mà gặt sự sống đời đời. (aiōnios g166)

For the person who sows the field of their earthly nature will from that earthly nature reap corruption; while the one who sows the field of the spirit will from that spirit reap eternal life. (aiōnios g166)

9 Chớ mệt nhọc về sự làm lành, vì nếu chúng ta không trễ nải, thì đến k” chúng ta sẽ gặt.

Let us never tire of doing right, for at the proper season we will reap our harvest, if we do not grow weary.

10 Vậy, đang lúc có dịp tiện, hãy làm điều thiện cho mọi người, nhất là cho anh em chúng ta trong đức tin.

Therefore, I say, as the opportunity occurs, let us treat everyone with kindness, and especially members of the household of the faith.

11 Hãy xem chính tay tôi viết thơ nầy cho anh em, chữ lớn là dường nào.

See in what large letters I am writing with my own hand.

12 Hết thảy những kẻ muốn cho mình đẹp lòng người theo phần xác, ép anh em chịu cắt bì, hầu cho họ khỏi vì thập tự giá của Đấng Christ mà bị bắt bớ đó thôi.

The people who are trying to compel you to be circumcised are the people who wish to appear to advantage in regard to outward observances. They do it only to avoid being persecuted for the cross of Jesus, the Christ

13 Vì chính những kẻ đó đã chịu cắt bì, không vâng giữ luật pháp đâu, nhưng họ muốn anh em chịu cắt bì, hầu để khoe mình trong phần xác của anh em.

Even these men who are circumcised do not themselves keep the Law; yet they want you to be circumcised, so that they may boast of your observance of the rite.

14 Còn như tôi, tôi hẳn chẳng khoe mình, trừ ra khoe về thập tự giá của Đức Chúa Jêsus Christ chúng ta, bởi thập tự giá ấy, thế gian đối với tôi đã bị đóng đinh, và tôi đối với thế gian cũng vậy!

But, for my part, may I never boast of anything except the cross of Jesus Christ, our Master, through whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

15 Vì điều yếu cần, chẳng phải sự chịu cắt bì, hay là sự chẳng chịu cắt bì, bèn là trở nên người mới.

For neither is circumcision nor the omission of it anything; but a new nature is everything.

16 Nguyền xin sự bình an và sự thương xót giáng trên hết thảy những kẻ noi theo mẫu mực nầy, lại giáng trên dân Y-sơ-ra-ên của Đức Chúa Trời nữa!

May all who rule their conduct by this principle find peace and mercy – they who are the Israel of God.

17 Ước gì từ nay về sau, chẳng ai làm khó cho tôi, vì trong mình tôi có đốt dấu vết của Đức Chúa Jêsus vậy.

For the future let no one trouble me; for I bear the marks of Jesus branded on my body.

18 Hỡi anh em, nguyền xin ân điển của Đức Chúa Jêsus Christ chúng ta ở với tâm thần anh em! A-men.
