1 Hỡi Ðức Chúa Trời, tại Si-ôn người ta mong đợi ngợi khen Chúa; Họ sẽ trả sự hứa nguyện cho Chúa.
Unto the end. A Psalm of David. A Canticle of Jeremiah and Ezekiel to the people of the captivity, when they began to go into exile. O God, a hymn adorns you in Zion, and a vow will be repaid to you in Jerusalem.
2 Hỡi Ðấng nghe lời cầu nguyện, Các xác thịt đều sẽ đến cùng Ngài.
Hear my prayer: all flesh will come to you.
3 Sự gian ác thắng hơn tôi: Còn về sự vi phạm chúng tôi, Chúa sẽ tha thứ cho.
Words of iniquity have prevailed over us. And you will pardon our impieties.
4 Phước thay cho người mà Chúa đã chọn và khiến đến gần, Ðặng ở nơi hành lang Chúa: Chúng tôi sẽ được no nê vật tốt lành của nhà Chúa, Là đền thánh của Ngài.
Blessed is he whom you have chosen and taken up. He will dwell in your courts. We will be filled with the good things of your house. Holy is your temple:
5 Hỡi Ðức Chúa Trời về sự cứu rỗi chúng tôi, Chúa sẽ lấy việc đáng sợ mà đáp lại chúng tôi theo sự công bình; Chúa là sự tin cậy của các cùng tột trái đất, và của kẻ ở trên biển xa.
wonderful in equity. Hear us, O God our Savior, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of a sea far away.
6 Chúa dùng quyền năng mình lập các núi vững chắc, Vì Chúa được thắt lưng bằng sức lực;
You prepare the mountains in your virtue, wrapped with power.
7 Chúa dẹp yên sự ầm ầm của biển, sự ồn ào của sóng nó, Và sự xao động của các dân.
You stir up the depths of the sea, the noise of its waves. The nations will be troubled,
8 Những kẻ ở nơi đầu cùng trái đất Thấy phép kỳ của Chúa, bèn sợ hãi; Chúa khiến buổi hừng đông và buổi chạng vạng mừng rỡ.
and those who dwell at the limits will be afraid, before your signs. You will make the passing of morning and evening enjoyable.
9 Chúa thăm viếng đất, và tưới ướt nó, Làm cho nó giàu có nhiều; Suối Ðức Chúa Trời đầy nước. Khi Chúa chế đất, thì sắm sửa ngũ cốc cho loài người.
You have visited the earth, and you have saturated it. You have enriched it in so many ways. The river of God has been filled with water. You have prepared their food. For thus is its preparation.
10 Chúa tưới các đường cày nó, làm cục đất nó ra bằng, Lấy mưa tẩm nó cho mềm, và ban phước cho huê lợi của nó.
Drench its streams, multiply its fruits; it will spring up and rejoice in its showers.
11 Chúa lấy sự nhơn từ mình đội cho năm làm mão triều; Các bước Chúa đặt ra mỡ.
You will bless the crown of the year with your kindness, and your fields will be filled with abundance.
12 Các bước Chúa đặt ra mỡ trên đồng cỏ của đồng vắng, Và các nổng đều thắt lưng bằng sự vui mừng.
The beauty of the desert will fatten, and the hills will be wrapped with exultation.
13 Ðồng cỏ đều đầy bầy chiên, Các trũng được bao phủ bằng ngũ cốc; Khắp nơi ấy đều reo mừng, và hát xướng.
The rams of the sheep have been clothed, and the valleys will abound with grain. They will cry out; yes, they will even utter a hymn.
