Giê-rê-mi-a 28

1 Cũng năm ấy, lúc Sê-đê-kia, vua Giu-đa, bắt đầu trị vì, tháng năm về năm thứ tư, Ha-na-nia, con trai A-xua, tiên tri ở Ga-ba-ôn, nói với tôi trong nhà Ðức Giê-hô-va, trước mặt các thầy tế lễ và cả dân sự rằng:

And it was - in the year that in [the] beginning of [the] reign of Zedekiah [the] king of Judah (in the year *Qk) fourth in the month fifth he said to me Hananiah [the] son of Azzur the prophet who [was] from Gibeon in [the] house of Yahweh to [the] eyes of the priests and all the people saying.

2 Ðức Giê-hô-va vạn quân, Ðức Chúa Trời của Y-sơ-ra-ên, phán như vầy: Ta đã bẻ ách của vua Ba-by-lôn.

Thus he says Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel saying I will break [the] yoke of [the] king of Babylon.

3 Trong hai năm trọn, mọi khí mạnh của nhà Ðức Giê-hô-va mà Nê-bu-cát-nết-sa, vua Ba-by-lôn, đã cất đi khỏi chỗ nầy và dời qua Ba-by-lôn, thì ta sẽ lại đem về trong nơi nầy.

In yet - two years days I [will] bring back to the place this all [the] articles of [the] house of Yahweh which he took Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon from the place this and he brought them Babylon.

4 Ðức Giê-hô-va phán: Ta lại sẽ đem Giê-cô-nia, con trai Giê-hô-gia-kim, vua Giu-đa, và mọi người Giu-đa bị bắt làm phu tù qua Ba-by-lôn, cũng đều trở về trong nơi nầy nữa; vì ta sẽ bẻ ách của vua Ba-by-lôn.

And Jeconiah [the] son of Jehoiakim [the] king of Judah and all [the] exile[s] of Judah who went Babylon towards I [will] bring back to the place this [the] utterance of Yahweh that I will break [the] yoke of [the] king of Babylon.

5 Bấy giờ, tiên tri Giê-rê-mi đáp cùng tiên tri Ha-na-nia, trước mặt các thầy tế lễ và cả dân sự đương đứng trong nhà Ðức Giê-hô-va.

And he said Jeremiah the prophet to Hananiah the prophet to [the] eyes of the priests and to [the] eyes of all the people who were standing in [the] house of Yahweh.

6 Tiên tri Giê-rê-mi nói rằng: A-men, nguyền xin Ðức Giê-hô-va làm như vậy! Nguyền xin Ðức Giê-hô-va làm những lời ngươi đã nói tiên tri, đem những khí mạnh của nhà Ðức Giê-hô-va và hết thảy những kẻ phu tù từ Ba-by-lôn trở về trong chốn nầy!

And he said Jeremiah the prophet amen thus may he do Yahweh may he carry out Yahweh words your which you have prophesied by bringing back [the] articles of [the] house of Yahweh and all the exile[s] from Babylon to the place this.

7 Dầu vậy, hãy nghe lời tôi nói vào tai ngươi và vào tai cả dân sự rằng:

Nevertheless listen to please the word this which I [am] about to speak in ears your and in [the] ears of all the people.

8 Các tiên tri ở trước tôi và trước ngươi, từ xưa đã nói tiên tri về giặc giã, tai vạ, và ôn dịch cho nhiều xứ và các nước lớn.

The prophets who they were before me and before you from antiquity and they prophesied against lands many and on kingdoms great of war and of calamity and of pestilence.

9 Nếu tiên tri được ứng nghiệm, thì sẽ biết tiên tri đó là thật bởi Ðức Giê-hô-va sai đến!

The prophet who he prophesies of peace when comes [the] word of the prophet he will be recognized the prophet whom he sent him Yahweh in truth.

10 Tiên tri Ha-na-nia bèn cất cái ách khỏi cổ tiên tri Giê-rê-mi, và bẻ đi.

And he took Hananiah the prophet the yoke-bar from on [the] neck of Jeremiah the prophet and he broke it.

11 Ðoạn, Ha-na-nia nói trước mặt cả dân sự rằng: Ðức Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Trong hai năm trọn, ta cũng sẽ bẻ cái ách của Nê-bu-cát-nết-sa, vua Ba-by-lôn, khỏi cổ mọi nước như vầy. Tiên tri Giê-rê-mi bèn đi.

And he said Hananiah to [the] eyes of all the people saying thus he says Yahweh thus I will break [the] yoke of - Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon in yet two years days from on [the] neck of all the nations and he went Jeremiah the prophet to way his.

12 Sai khi tiên tri Ha-na-nia đã cất cái ách khỏi cổ Giê-rê-mi, thì có lời Ðức Giê-hô-va phán cùng Giê-rê-mi như vầy:

And it came [the] word of Yahweh to Jeremiah after broke Hananiah the prophet the yoke-bar from on [the] neck of Jeremiah the prophet saying.

13 Ngươi khá đi nói với Ha-na-nia rằng: Ðức Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Ngươi đã bẻ ách bằng săng: song làm ách bằng sắt mà thế lại.

Go and you will say to Hananiah saying thus he says Yahweh yoke-bars of wood you have broken and you will make in place of them yoke-bars of iron.

14 Vì Ðức Giê-hô-va vạn quân, Ðức Chúa Trời của Y-sơ-ra-ên, phán như vầy: Ta đã để ách bằng sắt trên cổ mọi nước nầy, đặng chúng nó phải làm tôi Nê-bu-cát-nết-sa, vua Ba-by-lôn. Vả, chúng nó phải làm tôi người, và ta đã ban các loài thú đồng cho người nữa.

For thus he says Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel a yoke of iron I have put on [the] neck of - all the nations these to serve Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon and they will serve him and also [the] animal[s] of the field I have given to him.

15 Ðoạn, tiên tri Giê-rê-mi nói với tiên tri Ha-na-nia rằng: Hỡi Ha-na-nia, hãy nghe! Ðức Giê-hô-va chưa hề sai ngươi, nhưng ngươi làm cho dân nầy trông cậy sự giả dối.

And he said Jeremiah the prophet to Hananiah the prophet listen please O Hananiah not he sent you Yahweh and you you have made rely the people this on falsehood.

16 Vậy nên, Ðức Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Nầy, ta sẽ duồng ngươi khỏi mặt đất, năm nay ngươi sẽ chết vì đã nói ra sự bạn nghịch Ðức Giê-hô-va.

Therefore thus he says Yahweh here I [am] about to cast out you from on [the] surface of the ground this year you [will] die for rebellion you have spoken against Yahweh.

17 Cũng năm ấy, tháng bảy, thì tiên tri Ha-na-nia chết.

And he died Hananiah the prophet in the year that in the month seventh.
