Giảng Sư 4
1 Ta xây lại, xem xét mọi sự hà hiếp làm ra ở dưới mặt trời; kìa, nước mắt của kẻ bị hà hiếp, song không ai an ủi họ! Kẻ hà hiếp có quyền phép, song không ai an ủi cho kẻ bị hà hiếp!
And I returned I and I saw all the oppression which [were being] done under the sun and there! - [the] tear[s] of the oppressed and not [belonged] to them a comforter and [was] from [the] hand of oppressors their power and there not [belonged] to them a comforter.
2 Vậy, ta khen những kẻ chết đã lâu rồi là sướng hơn kẻ còn sống;
And I congratulated I the dead who already they had died more than the living who they [were] alive still.
3 còn kẻ chưa được sanh ra, chưa thấy những gian ác làm ra dưới mặt trời, ta cho là có phước hơn hai đằng kia.
And [is] good more than both of them [one] who still not he has been [one] who not he has seen the activity evil which it is done under the sun.
4 Ta cũng thấy mọi công lao và mọi nghề khéo là điều gây cho người nầy kẻ khác ganh ghét nhau. Ðiều đó cũng là sự hư không, theo luồng gió thổi.
And I considered I all [the] toil and all [the] skill of the work that it [is] envy of everyone from neighbor his also this [is] futility and striving of wind.
5 Kẻ ngu muội khoanh tay, ăn lấy thịt mình.
The fool [is] folding hands his and [is] eating own flesh his.
6 Thà đầy một lòng bàn tay mà bình an, hơn là đầy cả hai mà bị lao khổ, theo luồng gió thổi.
[is] good Fullness of hand of quietness more than [the] fullness of two hands toil and striving of wind.
7 Ta bèn xây lại xem thấy sự hư không ở dưới mặt trời:
And I returned I and I saw futility under the sun.
8 Nầy một người cô độc, chẳng có ai hoặc con trai hay là anh em; dầu vậy, lao khổ nó không thôi, mắt nó không hề chán của cải; nó không hề nghĩ rằng: Vậy ta lao khổ, ta bắt linh hồn nhịn các phước là vì ai? Ðiều đó cũng là hư không, thật là công việc cực nhọc.
There [was] one [person] and there not [was] a second also a son and a brother not [belonged] to him and there not [was] an end to all toil his also (eye his *QK) not it was satisfied wealth and for whom? - [am] I a laborer and depriving self my from good also this [is] futility and [is] a task of evil it.
9 Hai người hơn một, vì hai sẽ được công giá tốt về công việc mình.
[are] good Two [people] more than one that there for them [is] a reward good for toil their.
10 Nếu người này sa ngã, thì người kia sẽ đỡ bạn mình lên; nhưng khốn thay cho kẻ ở một mình mà sa ngã, không có ai đỡ mình lên!
That except they will fall down the one he will raise companion his and woe! to him the one who will fall down and there not [is] a second [person] to raise him.
11 Cũng vậy, nếu hai người ngủ chung thì ấm; còn một mình thì làm sao ấm được?
Also if they will lie down two [people] and it will be warm to them and to one [person] how? will it be warm.
12 Lại nếu kẻ ở một mình bị người khác thắng, thì hai người có thế chống cự nó; một sợi dây đánh ba tao lấy làm khó đứt.
And though someone will overpower him the one [person] the two [people] they will stand before him and the thread threefold not quickly it will be torn apart.
13 Một kẻ trẻ tuổi nghèo mà khôn hơn một ông vua già cả mà dại, chẳng còn biết nghe lời khuyên can.
[is] good A youth poor and wise more than a king old and a fool who not he knows to be warned still.
14 Vì kẻ trẻ ra khỏi ngục khám đặng làm vua, dầu sanh ra nghèo trong nước mình.
For from [the] house of the prisoners he came out to become king for also in own kingdom his he had been born a poor [person].
15 Ta thấy mọi người sống đi đi lại lại dưới mặt trời, đều theo kẻ trẻ ấy, là người kế vị cho vua kia.
I saw all the living who are walking about under the sun with the youth second who he will arise in place of him.
16 Dân phục dưới quyền người thật đông vô số; dầu vậy, những kẻ đến sau sẽ chẳng vui thích về người. Ðiều đó cũng là sự hư không, theo luồng gió thổi.
There not [is] an end to all the people to all [those] whom he was before them also the subsequent [people] not they will rejoice in him for also this [is] futility and a striving of wind.
