I Sa-mu-ên 18
1 Ða-vít vừa tâu xong cùng Sau-lơ, thì lòng của Giô-na-than khế hiệp cùng lòng Ða-vít, đến đỗi Giô-na-than yêu mến Ða-vít như mạng sống mình.
And it was when finished he to speak to Saul and [the] self of Jonathan it was bound with [the] self of David (and he loved him *Qk) Jonathan like own self his.
2 Từ ngày đó, Sau-lơ rước Ða-vít về đền mình, không cho trở về nhà cha người nữa.
And he took him Saul on the day that and not he permitted him to return [the] house of father his.
3 Giô-na-than kế hiệp cùng Ða-vít, bởi vì yêu mến người như mạng sống mình.
And he made Jonathan and David a covenant in love his him like own self his.
4 Người cổi áo mình mặc mà trao cho Ða-vít, luôn với áo xống khác, cho đến gươm, cung, và đai của mình nữa.
And he stripped himself Jonathan the robe which [was] on him and he gave it to David and garments his and to sword his and to bow his and to belt his.
5 Ða-vít đi đánh giº·c nhiều: bất luận nơi nào Sau-lơ sai người đi, thì đều được việc, nên Sau-lơ đặt người làm đầu chiến sĩ; người đẹp ý bá tánh và những tôi tớ của Sau-lơ.
And he went out David in every where he sent him Saul he prospered and he appointed him Saul over [the] men of war and it was good in [the] eyes of all the people and also in [the] eyes of [the] servants of Saul.
6 Khi Ða-vít đã giết được người Phi-li-tin, trở về cùng đạo binh, thì những người nữ của các thành Y-sơ-ra-ên đi ra đón Sau-lơ, hát múa, đánh trống cơm, gõ nhịp, và reo tiếng vui mừng.
And it was when came they when returned David from striking down the Philistine and they came out the women from all [the] cities of Israel (to sing *Qk) and the dancing to meet Saul the king with tambourines with joy and with three-stringed instruments.
7 Những người múa đối đáp nhau rằng: Sau-lơ giết hàng ngàn, Còn Ða-vít giết hàng vạn!
And they sang the women who were playing and they said he has struck down Saul (thousands his *QK) and David ten thousands his.
8 Sau-lơ lấy làm giận lắm, và các lời nầy không đẹp lòng người. Người nói: Người ta cho Ða-vít hàng vạn, còn ta hàng ngàn; chỉ còn thiếu cho nó ngôi nước mà thôi!
And it burned to Saul exceedingly and it was displeasing in eyes his the matter this and he said they have ascribed to David ten thousands and to me they have ascribed the thousands and yet for him only the kingship.
9 Kể từ ngày ấy, Sau-lơ thường ngó Ða-vít cách giận.
And he was Saul (looking at *QK) David from the day that and onwards.
10 Ngày mai, ác thần bởi Ðức Chúa Trời khiến nhập vào Sau-lơ; người có cơn sốt hoảng trong đền mình, thì Ða-vít gảy đờn như những ngày khác. Sau-lơ cầm một cây giáo nơi tay,
And it was from [the] next day and it rushed a spirit of God - evil - to Saul and he prophesied in [the] midst of the house and David [was] playing an instrument with hand his as a day - in a day and the spear [was] in [the] hand of Saul.
11 bèn phóng Ða-vít, mà rằng: Ta sẽ đóng đinh nó nơi vách. Nhưng Ða-vít tránh hai lần khỏi mũi giáo.
And he threw Saul the spear and he said I will strike David and the wall and he went around David from before him two times.
12 Sau-lơ sợ Ða-vít, vì Ðức Giê-hô-va ở cùng Ða-vít, và đã lìa khỏi mình.
And he was afraid Saul from to before David for he was Yahweh with him and from with Saul he had turned aside.
13 Sau-lơ khiến Ða-vít cách xa mình, lập người làm trưởng ngàn người: Ða-vít ra trận trở về thì đứng đầu đạo binh.
And he removed him Saul from with him and he appointed him for himself a commander of a thousand and he went out and he came before the people.
14 Trong các công việc, người đều được may mắn, và Ðức Giê-hô-va ở cùng người.
And he was David to all (ways his *QK) successful and Yahweh [was] with him.
15 Sau-lơ thấy người được may mắn dường ấy, thì lấy làm sợ người.
And he saw Saul that he [was] successful exceedingly and he was afraid of him.
16 Nhưng cả Y-sơ-ra-ên và Giu-đa đều yêu mến Ða-vít, bởi vì người ra trận trở về đứng đầu chúng.
And all Israel and Judah [were] loving David for he [was] going out and [was] coming before them.
17 Sau-lơ nói cùng Ða-vít rằng: Nầy Mê-ráp, con gái cả ta; ta sẽ gả nó cho ngươi làm vợ. Chỉ phải giúp ta cách mạnh bạo và đánh giặc cho Ðức Giê-hô-va. Vả, Sau-lơ nói thầm rằng: Tay ta chớ nên hành hại hắn, nhưng thà tay của dân Phi-li-tin còn hơn.
And he said Saul to David here! daughter my old Merab her I will give to you to a wife only become of me a son of strength and fight [the] battles of Yahweh and Saul he said may not it be hand my on him and let it be on him [the] hand of [the] Philistines.
18 Ða-vít thưa rằng: Tôi là ai? Thân phận tôi là gì? Họ hàng cha tôi nơi Y-sơ-ra-ên ra chi mà tôi trở nên phò mã của vua?
And he said David to Saul who? [am] I and who? [are] kinsfolk my [the] clan of father my in Israel that I will be a son-in-law of the king.
19 Vả, khi đến kỳ Mê-ráp, con gái của Sau-lơ, phải gả cho Ða-vít, thì lại gả cho Át-ri-ên, người Mê-hô-la.
And it was at [the] time gave Merab [the] daughter of Saul to David and she she was given to Adriel the Meholathite to a wife.
20 Nhưng Mi-canh, con gái của Sau-lơ, yêu mến Ða-vít. Khi Sau-lơ hay điều đó, thì lấy làm đẹp lòng.
And she loved Michal [the] daughter of Saul David and people told to Saul and it was pleasing the matter in eyes his.
21 Người nói thầm rằng: Ta sẽ biểu hắn cưới nàng, hầu cho nàng làm cái bẫy cho hắn, và hắn sa vào tay của dân Phi-li-tin. Vậy, Sau-lơ nói lần thứ nhì cùng Ða-vít rằng: Ngươi sẽ làm phò mã ta.
And he said Saul I will give her to him so she may become for him a snare so it may be on him [the] hand of [the] Philistines and he said Saul to David in two [times] you will be a son-in-law to me this day.
22 Ðoạn, Sau-lơ truyền lịnh cho các tôi tớ mình rằng: Hãy nói kín cùng Ða-vít rằng: Ngươi thấy vua lấy làm đẹp lòng ngươi, và hết thảy tôi tớ vua đều yêu mến ngươi: vậy, hãy làm phò mã của vua.
And he commanded Saul (servants his *QK) speak to David in secrecy saying here! he delights in you the king and all servants his they love you and therefore be son-in-law to the king.
23 Các tôi tớ của Sau-lơ nói lại các lời ấy cùng Ða-vít. Ða-vít đáp rằng: Làm phò mã của vua, há là việc nhỏ mọn trước mặt các ngươi sao? Tôi vốn một người nghèo nàn và hèn tiện.
And they spoke [the] servants of Saul in [the] ears of David the words these and he said David ¿ trifling in eyes your [is] to be son-in-law to the king and I [am] a man poor and lightly esteemed.
24 Các tôi tớ của Sau-lơ thuật lại cho vua câu trả lời của Ða-vít.
And they told [the] servants of Saul to him saying according to the words these he spoke David.
25 Sau-lơ nói cùng chúng rằng: Các ngươi hãy nói cùng Ða-vít như vầy: Vua chẳng đòi sính lễ gì khác, chỉ đòi một trăm dương bì của người Phi-li-tin, đặng trả thù kẻ cừu địch mình. Vả, cái mưu của Sau-lơ là khiến cho Ða-vít sa vào tay dân Phi-li-tin.
And he said Saul thus you will say to David not delight [belongs] to the king in bride-price for for a hundred foreskins of Philistines to avenge himself on [the] enemies of the king and Saul he planned to make fall David by [the] hand of [the] Philistines.
26 Các tôi tớ kể lại những lời nầy cho Ða-vít nghe, thì Ða-vít chìu theo sự buộc ấy mà làm phò mã của vua. Trước kỳ định,
And they told servants his to David the words these and it was pleasing the matter in [the] eyes of David to be son-in-law to the king and not they were completed the days.
27 Ða-vít chổi dậy, cùng quân thủ hạ mình đi đánh giết hai trăm ngươi Phi-li-tin. Người đem dương bì của chúng nó về, và nộp cho vua đủ số, đặng trở làm phò mã người. Vậy, Sau-lơ gả Mi-canh, con gái mình, cho người làm vợ.
And he arose David and he went - he and men his and he struck down among the Philistines two hundred man and he brought David foreskins their and people gave in full them to the king to be son-in-law to the king and he gave to him Saul Michal daughter his to a wife.
28 Sau-lơ nhìn biết Ðức Giê-hô-va ở cùng Ða-vít. Mi-canh, con gái của Sau-lơ, yêu mến Ða-vít.
And he saw Saul and he knew that Yahweh [was] with David and Michal [the] daughter of Saul she loved him.
29 Nhưng Sau-lơ càng sợ Ða-vít hơn nữa, và trọn đời mình làm kẻ thù nghịch người.
And he increased Saul to be afraid of David again and he was Saul an enemy David all the days.
30 Mỗi lần các quan trưởng dân Phi-li-tin ra trận, thì Ða-vít may mắn hơn các tôi tớ của Sau-lơ; vì vậy danh người trở nên tôn trọng lắm.
And they went out [the] commanders of [the] Philistines and it was - as often as went out they he was successful David more than all [the] servants of Saul and it was esteemed name his exceedingly.
