1 Nầy là những con trai Ða-vít sanh tại Hếp-rôn: con trưởng nam là Am-nôn bởi A-hi-nô-am, người Gít-rê-ên; con thứ nhì là Ða-ni-ên bởi A-bi-ga-in, người Cạt-mên;
Truly, David had these sons, who were born to him in Hebron: the firstborn Amnon, of Ahinoam the Jezreelite; the second Daniel, from Abigail the Carmelite;
2 thứ ba, Áp-sa-lôm, con trai của Ma-a-ca, con gái của Tanh-mai, vua đất Ghê-su-rơ; thứ tư, A-đô-ni-gia, con trai của Ha-ghít;
the third Absalom, the son of Maacah, daughter of Talmai, king of Geshur; the fourth Adonijah, the son of Haggith;
3 thứ năm, Sê-pha-ti-a, con trai của A-bi-tanh; thứ sáu, Dít-rê-am, con của Éc-la, vợ Ða-vít.
the fifth Shephatiah, of Abital; the sixth Ithream, from his wife Eglah.
4 Sáu con trai nầy sanh tại Hếp-rôn; ở đó Ða-vít trị vì bảy năm sáu tháng; còn tại Giê-ru-sa-lem, Ða-vít trị vì ba mươi ba năm.
Therefore, six were born to him in Hebron, where he reigned for seven years and six months. Then he reigned for thirty-three years in Jerusalem.
5 Ðây là những con trai Ða-vít sanh tại Giê-ru-sa-lem: Si-mê-a, Sô-báp, Na-than, và Sa-lô-môn, cộng được bốn người, đều là con của Bát-sua, con gái của A-mi-ên.
Now in Jerusalem, sons were born to him: Shammua, and Sobab, and Nathan, and Solomon, these four from Bathsheba, the daughter of Ammiel;
6 Lại có Gi-ba, E-li-sa-ma, Ê-li-phê-lết,
also Ibhar and Elishama,
7 Nô-ga, Nê-phết, Gia-phia,
and Eliphelet, and Nogah, and Nepheg, and Japhia,
8 Ê-li-sa-ma, Ê-li-gia-đa, và Ê-li-phê-lết, cộng được chín người.
indeed also Elishama, and Eliada, and Eliphelet, nine.
9 Ấy là những con trai của Ða-vít, chẳng kể các con trai của những cung phi; và Ta-ma là chị em của chúng.
All these were sons of David, aside from the sons of the concubines. And they had a sister, Tamar.
10 Con trai Sa-lô-môn là Rô-bô-am, con trai Rô-bô-am là A-bi-gia, con trai A-bi-gia là A-sa, con trai A-sa là Giô-sa-phát,
Now the son of Solomon was Rehoboam, from whom Abijah conceived a son, Asa. And from him, there was born Jehoshaphat,
11 con trai Giô-sa-phát là Giô-ram, con trai Giô-ram là A-cha-xia, con trai A-cha-xia là Giô-ách;
the father of Jehoram. And Jehoram conceived Ahaziah, from whom there was born Jehoash.
12 con trai Giô-ách là A-ma-xia, con trai A-ma-xia là A-xa-ria, con trai A-xa-ria là Giô-tham,
And his son, Amaziah, conceived Azariah. Then Jotham, the son of Azariah,
13 con trai Giô-tham là A-cha, con trai A-cha là Ê-xê-chia, con trai Ê-xê-chia là Ma-na-se,
conceived Ahaz, the father of Hezekiah, from whom was born Manasseh.
14 con trai Ma-na-se là A-môn, con trai A-môn là Giô-si-a.
Then too, Manasseh conceived Amon, the father of Josiah.
15 Con trai của Giô-si-a: con trưởng nam là Giô-ha-nan; con thứ nhì là Giê-hô-gia-kim, thứ ba là Sê-đe-kia, thứ tư là Sa-lum.
Now the sons of Josiah were these: the firstborn Johanan, the second Jehoiakim, the third Zedekiah, the fourth Shallum.
16 Con trai của Giê-hô-gia-kim là Giê-chô-nia và Sê-đê-kia.
From Jehoiakim was born Jeconiah and Zedekiah.
17 Con trai của Giê-chô-nia, tức người bị lưu đày, là Sa-la-thi-ên,
The sons of Jeconiah the captive were: Shealtiel,
18 Manh-ki-ram, Phê-đa-gia, Sê-na-xa, Giê-ca-mia, Hô-sa-ma, và Nê-đa-bia.
Malchiram, Pedaiah, Shenazzar, and Jekamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah.
19 Con trai của Phê-đa-gia là Xô-rô-ba-bên và Si-mê -i. Con trai của Xô-rô-ba-bên là Mê-su-lam và Ha-na-nia; còn Sê-lô-mít là chị em của chúng.
From Pedaiah, there rose up Zerubbabel and Shimei. Zerubbabel conceived Meshullam, Hananiah, and their sister Shelomith,
20 Lại có Ha-su-ba, Ô-hên, Bê-rê-kia, Ha-sa-đia, Du-sáp-Hê-rết, cộng là năm người.
as well as Hashubah, and Ohel, and Berechiah, and Hasadiah, Jushab-hesed, five.
21 Con trai của Ha-na-nia là Phê-la-tia và Ê-sai; lại có con cháu Ô-ba-đia, và con cháu Sê-ca-nia.
Now the son of Hananiah was Pelatiah, the father of Jeshaiah, whose son was Rephaiah. And his son was Arnan, from whom was born Obadiah, whose son was Shecaniah.
22 Con trai của Sê-ca-nia là Sê-ma-gia. Những con trai của Sê-ma-gia là Hát-túc, Di-ganh, Ba-ria, Nê-a-ria, và Sa-phát, cộng được sáu người.
The son of Shecaniah was Shemaiah, whose sons were these: Hattush, and Igal, and Bariah, and Neariah, and Shaphat, six in number.
23 Con của Nê-a-ria là Ê-li-ô-ê-nai, Ê-xê-chia, và A-ri-kham, cộng được ba người.
The sons of Neariah: Elioenai, and Hizkiaj, and Azrikam, three.
24 Con trai của Ê-li-ô-ê-nai là Hô-đa-via, Ê-li-a-síp, Phê-la-gia, A-cúp, Giô-ha-nan, Ðê-la-gia, và A-na-ni, cộng được bảy người.
The sons of Elioenai: Hodaviah, and Eliashib, and Pelaiah, and Akkub, and Johanan, and Delaiah, and Anani, seven.
