< Luqa 14 >

1 We shundaq boldiki, bir shabat küni u Perisiylerdin bolghan bir hökümdarning öyige ghizagha bardi; emdi ular uni paylap yürüwatatti.
And it came to pass, as he went into the house of one of the chief Pharisees to eat bread on the sabbath, that they watched him.
2 We mana, u yerde suluq ishshiq késilige giriptar bolghan bir adem bar idi.
And behold, there was a certain man before him who had the dropsy.
3 Eysa Tewrat ehliliri we Perisiylerdin: — Shabat küni késel saqaytish Tewrat qanunigha uyghunmu-yoq? — dep soridi.
And Jesus answering, spoke to the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath?
4 Biraq ular lam-jim démidi. U héliqi késelge qolini tegküzüp, saqaytip yolgha saldi.
And they held their peace. And he took [him] and healed him, and let him go;
5 Andin u ulardin yene: — Aranglardin biringlarning mubada shabat künide éshiki ya kalisi quduqqa chüshüp ketse, uni derhal tartip chiqarmaydighan zadi kim bar? — dep soridi.
And answered them, saying, Which of you shall have an ass or an ox fallen into a pit, and will not forthwith pull him out on the sabbath?
6 We ular uning bu sözlirige héch jawab bérelmidi.
And they could not answer him again to these things.
7 Eysa chaqirilghan méhmanlarning özlirige tördin orunlarni qandaq tallighinini körüp, ulargha mundaq bir temsilni éytip berdi:
And he put forth a parable to those who were invited, when he marked how they chose out the chief rooms; saying to them,
8 — Birsi séni toy ziyapitige teklip qilsa, törde olturmighin. Bolmisa, sendin hörmetlikrek birsi teklip qilin’ghan bolsa,
When thou art invited by any [man] to a wedding, sit not down in the highest room, lest a more honorable man than thou be invited by him;
9 U chaghda séni we uni chaqirghan sahibxana kélip sanga: «Bu kishige orun bergeysiz» dep qalsa, sen xijalette qélip pegahgha chüshüp qalisen.
And he that invited thee and him, shall come and say to thee, Give this man place; and thou begin with shame to take the lowest room.
10 Lékin sen chaqirilghanda, bérip pegahda olturghin. Shuning bilen séni chaqirghan sahibxana kélip: «Ey dostum, yuqirigha chiqing» déyishi mumkin we shuning bilen séning bilen dastixanda olturghanlarning hemmisining aldida sanga izzet bolidu.
But when thou art invited, go and sit down in the lowest room; that when he that invited thee cometh, he may say to thee, Friend, go up higher: then shalt thou have honor in the presence of them that sit at table with thee.
11 Chünki herkim özini üstün tutsa töwen qilinidu we kimdekim özini töwön tutsa üstün qilinidu.
For whoever exalteth himself shall be abased, and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
12 U özini méhman’gha chaqirghan sahibxanigha mundaq dédi: — Méhmanni tamaqqa yaki ziyapetke chaqirghiningda, dost-burader, qérindash, uruq-tughqan yaki bay qolum-qoshniliringni chaqirmighin. Chünki ularmu séni méhman’gha chaqirip, merhemitingni qayturushi mumkin.
Then said he also to him that invited him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, neither thy kinsmen, nor [thy] rich neighbors; lest they also invite thee again, and a recompense be made thee.
13 Shuning üchün ziyapet bérey déseng, ghérib-ghurwa, méyip-nakar, aqsaq-cholaq, kor-emalarni chaqirghin
But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind:
14 we bext-beriket körisen; chünki u kishilerning yaxshiliqingni qayturushning amali yoqtur. Shuning bilen heqqaniylarning qayta tirilgen künide qilghining özüngge qayturulidu.
And thou shalt be blessed: for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.
15 Uning bilen hemdastixan olturghanlardin biri bu sözlerni anglap, uninggha: — Xudaning padishahliqida ghizalan’ghuchilar némidégen bextlik-he! — dédi.
And when one of them that sat at table with him heard these things, he said to him, Blessed [is] he that shall eat bread in the kingdom of God.
16 Biraq u uninggha jawaben mundaq dédi: — Bir kishi katta ziyapetke tutush qilip, nurghun méhmanlarni chaqirip qoyuptu.
Then said he to him, A certain man made a great supper, and invited many:
17 Dastixan sélin’ghan shu saette, chakirini ewetip, chaqirilghan méhmanlargha: «Merhemet, hemme nerse teyyar boldi!» dep éytiptu.
And sent his servant at supper-time, to say to them that were invited, Come, for all things are now ready.
18 Biraq, méhmanlarning hemmisi barmasliqqa bir-birlep özre-bahane körsetkili turuptu. Birinchisi uninggha: «Men hélila bir parche yer sétiwalghanidim, bérip körüp kelmisem bolmaydu. Méni epu qilghayla, baralmaymen» deptu.
And they all with one [consent] began to make excuse. The first said to him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused.
19 Yene biri: «Men besh qoshluq öküz sétiwaldim, hazir bérip ularni sinap körüshüm kérek. Méni epu qilghayla, baralmaymen» deptu.
And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused.
20 Yene birsi: «Men yéngi öylen’gen, shunga baralmaymen» deptu.
And another said, I have married a wife: and therefore I cannot come.
21 Chakar qaytip kélip, bu ishlarni xojayinigha melum qiptu. Xojayin ghezeplen’gen halda chakirigha: «Derhal sheherning chong-kichik kochilirigha kirip, ghérib-ghurwa, méyip-nakar, aqsaq-cholaq we kor-emalarni mushu yerge yighip kel» deptu.
So that servant came, and showed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry, said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind.
22 Andin chakar qaytip kélip: «Xojayin, emr berginingdek ada qilindi, we yene bosh orun bar!» deptu.
And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room.
23 Shuning bilen xojayin chakargha: — «Öyüm méhmanlargha tolush üchün yézilardiki chong-kichik yollarni, mehellilerni arilap, udul kelgen adimingni zorlap élip kelgin!
And the lord said to the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel [them] to come in, that my house may be filled.
24 Chünki men silerge shuni éytayki, bashta chaqirilghan ademlerning héchqaysisi dastixinimdin tétimaydu», deptu.
For I say to you, that none of those men who were invited, shall taste my supper.
25 Emdi top-top ademler uninggha hemrah bolup kétiwatatti. U burulup ulargha qarap mundaq dédi:
And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said to them,
26 — Manga egeshkenler [manga bolghan söyüshliridin] öz atisi we anisi, ayali we baliliri, aka-ukiliri we acha-singilliri, hetta öz jéninimu yaman körmise manga muxlis bolalmas.
If any [man] cometh to me, and hateth not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
27 Kimdekim özining kréstini yüdüp manga egeshmise u manga muxlis bolalmas.
And whoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.
28 Aranglardin birsi munar salmaqchi bolsa, aldi bilen olturup bu qurulushni pütküzgüdek xirajet özümde barmu-yoq dep hésab qilmasmu?
For which of you intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he hath [sufficient] to finish [it]?
29 Undaq qilmighanda, ulni sélip pütküzelmise, körgenlerning hemmisi mazaq qilip: «Bu adem binani bashlap qoyup pütküzelmidi» — démey qalmaydu.
Lest perhaps after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish [it], all that behold [it] begin to mock him,
Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.
31 Yaki bir padishah yene bir padishah bilen jeng qilghili chiqsa aldi bilen olturup: — Méning üstümge kélidighan yigirme ming kishilik qoshun igisige men on ming eskirim bilen taqabil turalarmenmu? dep mölcherlep körmemdu?!
Or what king going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand?
32 Eger u «Soqushalmaymen» dep oylisa, düshmen téxi yiraqtiki chaghda elchi ewetip, sulh shertlirini soraydu.
Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an embassy, and desireth conditions of peace.
33 Shuninggha oxshash, silerdin kimdekim [könglide] özining bar-yoqi bilen xoshlashmisa, manga muxlis bolalmas.
So likewise, whoever he is of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.
34 Tuz yaxshi nersidur; halbuki, tuz öz temini yoqatsa, uninggha qaytidin tuz temini qandaqmu kirgüzgili bolidu?
Salt [is] good: but if the salt hath lost its savor, with what shall it be seasoned?
35 U tupraqqa ishlitishke yaki oghutqa arilashturushqimu yarimay, talagha tashlinidu. Anglighudek quliqi barlar buni anglisun!
It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill, [but] men cast it out. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
