1 Shuning bilen biz [silerdin xewersiz] taqitimiz taq bolup, özimiz Afina shehiride yalghuz qélip,

And because we could not endure, we were willing to be left at Athinos alone,

2 aldinglargha qérindishimiz hem Xuda yolida Mesihning xush xewiride boluwatqan xizmetdishimiz Timotiyni silerni étiqadta mustehkemlesh-kücheytish we righbetlendürüsh üchün ewetishni qarar qilduq;

and to send to you Timotheos our brother, a minister of Aloha and our helper in the gospel of the Meshiha, to fortify you, and inquire of you concerning your faith,

3 [bizning uni ewetishtiki] meqsitimiz, héchkimning béshinglargha chüshken mushu zexmet-qiyinchiliqlar sewebidin [étiqadta] tewrinip qalmasliqi üchündur. Chünki özünglar bundaq ishlargha uchrashqa aldin’ala békitilgen, dep bilisiler.

that none of you should be slain through these afflictions; for you know that to this we are set.

4 Chünki biz siler bilen bille bolghan waqtimizda, silerge hemmimiz azab-qiyinchiliqqa uchrimay qalmaymiz dep aldin’ala éytqaniduq. Emeliyette hazir déginimizdek boldi, dep bilisiler.

For while also we were with you, we foretold you that we were to be afflicted, as you know that it hath been.

5 Shu sewebtin taqitim taq bolup, étiqadinglarning zadi qandaq ikenlikini bilish üchün, azdurghuchi silerni azdurup bizning silerge singdürgen ejrimiz bikargha kettimikin dep ensirep, Timotiyni yéninglargha ewetkenidim.

On account of this also, I, not enduring until I had sent to know your faith, lest the tempter should tempt you, and we should have laboured in vain;

6 Lékin Timotiy baya yéninglardin qaytip kelgende, étiqadinglar we méhir-muhebbitinglar toghrisida bizge yaxshi xewer élip kélip, silerning bizni herdaim séghinip turghanliqinglarni we xuddi biz siler bilen didarlishishqa telpün’ginimizdek, silerningmu bizni körgünglar kelgenlikini éytti.

but now when Timotheos came to us from among you, and gave us intelligence of your faith and of your love, and that you have a good remembrance of us in every season, and desire to see us as we also (to see) you;

7 Shuningdek, ey qérindashlar, béshimizgha chüshken mushundaq barliq azab-oqubet we éghirchiliq ichide turiwatqinimizda silerdin, yeni ching étiqadinglardin righbet-teselli taptuq;

on this account we were comforted in you, my brethren, in all our anxieties and our afflictions because of your faith.

8 Chünki Rebde ching turghan bolsanglar, biz [ölmey], hayat qalimiz!

And now we live, if you are established in our Lord.

9 Emdi siler üchün, Xudayimiz aldida silerning wejinglardin tolimu shadlanduq, bu zor shadliqimizdin siler üchün Xudagha qanchilik derijide teshekkür éytsaq bolar?!

For what thanks giving can we render on account of you to Aloha, over all the joy with which we rejoice on your behalf,

10 Siler bilen didar körüshüsh we étiqadinglardiki yétersizliklerni mukemmel qilishqa muyesser bolush imkaniyiti üchün, kéche-kündüz Xudagha zor telmürüp yélinmaqtimiz.

unless before Aloha we supplicate exceedingly by night and by day to see your faces, and to perfect what is wanting to your faith?

11 Emdi bizning Xuda’Atimizning Özi hem Rebbimiz Eysa bizning yolimizni yéninglargha bashlighay;

But Aloha himself, the Father of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha, will make straight our way to you,

12 emdi méhir-muhebbetimiz silerge tolghandek, Reb silerning bir-biringlargha we hemme ademlerge bolghan méhir-muhebbitinglarni ashurup, tolup tashturghay;

and he will cause your love to increase to one another, and to every man, even as we love you;

13 hem shundaq bolghanda, Rebbimiz Eysa Özining barliq muqeddes bendiliri bilen bille qaytip kelgende qelbinglar bizning Xuda’Atimiz aldida pak-muqeddeslikte nuqsansiz bolushqa mustehkemlinidu!

and will establish your hearts without blame in holiness, before Aloha our Father, at the advent of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha with all his saints.
