1 Нәғмичиләрниң бешиға тапшурулуп, «Гиттиф»та орунлансун дәп, Давут язған күй: — И, Өз һәйвәңни асманлардинму жуқури тиклигән Пәрвәрдигар Рәббимиз, Пүткүл йәр йүзидә намиң шунчә шәрәпликтур!

To the chief Musician upon Gittith, A Psalm of David. O LORD our Lord, how excellent [is] thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.

2 Өз рәқиплириң түпәйлидин, Дүшмән вә қисасчиларниң ағзини етишкә, Бовақлар вә әмгүчиләрниң ағзидин күч тиклидиңсән.

Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thy enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.

3 Мән бармақлириңниң ясиғини болған асманлириңға, Сән мәзмут бекиткән ай-юлтузларға қариғинимда,

When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers; the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;

4 Сән инсанни сеғинидикәнсән, Әнди адәм дегән немә еди? Сән униң йениға келип йоқлайдикәнсән, Инсан балиси қанчилик немә еди?

What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

5 Чүнки Сән униң орнини пәриштиләрниңкидин азғинә төвән бекиттиңсән, Сән униңға шан-шәрәп вә шөһрәтләрни таҗ қилип бәрдиң.

For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honor.

6 Уни қолуңниң ясиғанлирини идарә қилишқа тиклидиң; Сән барлиқ нәрсиләрни униң пути астиға қойғансән,

Thou hast made him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all [things] under his feet:

7 Җүмлидин барлиқ қой-калилар, Даладики барлиқ җаниварлар,

All sheep and oxen, yes, and the beasts of the field;

8 Асмандики учар-қанатлар, Деңиздики белиқлар, Деңизларниң йоллиридин өткүчиләрниң барлиғини пути астиға қойдуң.

The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, [and whatever] passeth through the paths of the seas.

9 И Пәрвәрдигар Рәббимиз, пүткүл йәр йүзидә намиң немидегән шәрәплик-һә!

O LORD our Lord, how excellent [is] thy name in all the earth!
