1 Төвәндикиләр, падиша Ләмуәлгә униң аниси арқилиқ вәһий билән кәлгән сөзләрдур; аниси бу сөзләрни униңға үгәткән:
The words of king Lemuel, the prophecy that his mother taught him.
2 И оғлум, и мениң амриғим, қәсәмләр билән тилигән арзулуғум, мән саңа немә дәй?
What, my son? and what, the son of my womb? and what, the son of my vows?
3 Күч-қуввитиңни аял-хотунлар тәрипигә сәрп қилмиғин; Яки падишаларниму вәйран қилидиған ишларға берилгүчи болма!
Give not thy strength unto women, nor thy ways to that which destroyeth kings.
4 И Ләмуәл, шарап ичиш падишаларға лайиқ әмәс, Әмирләргиму һараққа хумар болуш ярашмас.
[It is] not for kings, O Lemuel, [it is] not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes strong drink:
5 Болмиса улар шарап ичип, [муқәддәс] бәлгүлимиләрни унтуп, Бозәк бәндиләрниң һәққини астин-үстүн қиливетиши мүмкин.
Lest they drink, and forget the law, and pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted.
6 Күчлүк һарақ өлгүси кәлгәнләргә, һәсрәткә чөмгәнләргә берилсун!
Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts.
7 Улар шарапни ичип, мискинлигини унтуп, Қайтидин дәрд-әлимини есигә кәлтүрмисун!
Let him drink, and forget his poverty, and remember his misery no more.
8 Өзлири үчүн гәп қилалмайдиғанларға ағзиңни ачқин, Һалак болай дегәнләрниң дәвасидә гәп қил.
Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction.
9 Сүкүт қилма, улар үчүн лилла һөкүм қил, Езилгәнләрниң вә мискинләрниң дәрдигә дәрман бол.
Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.
10 Пәзиләтлик аялни ким тапалайду? Униң қиммити ләәл-яқутлардинму зор ешип чүшиду.
Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price [is] far above rubies.
11 Ериниң көңли униңға тайинип хатирҗәм туриду, У болғачқа ериниң алған олҗиси кам әмәстур!
The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
12 У өмүр бойи еригә вападар болуп яхшилиқ қилиду, Уни зиянға учратмайду.
She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
13 У қой жуңи вә кәндир тепип, Өз қоли билән җан дәп әҗир қилиду.
She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
14 У сода кемилиригә охшаш, [Аилини беқиштики] озуқ-түлүкләрни жирақ җайлардин тошуйду.
She is like the merchants’ ships; she bringeth her food from afar.
15 Таң йорумаста у орнидин туриду, Аилисидикиләргә йемәклик тәйярлайду, Хизмәткар-дедәкләргә несивисини тәқсим қилиду.
She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.
16 У бир парчә етизни өзи көрүп алиду; Қоли билән жиққан дарамәттин у бир үзүмзар бена қилиду.
She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.
17 [Ишқа қарап] у белини күч билән бағлар, Биләклирини күчләндүрәр;
She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.
18 Өз ишиниң пайдилиқлиғиға көзи йетәр, Кечичә чириғини өчүрмәй иш қилар.
She perceiveth that her merchandise [is] good: her candle goeth not out by night.
19 У қоллири билән чақни чөрәр, Бармақлири жип урчуқини тутар.
She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.
20 Аҗизларға ярдәм қолини узитар; Һаҗәтмәнләргә қоллирини созар.
She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.
21 Қар яққанда у аилиси тоғрилиқ әндишә қилмайду, Өйидикиләрниң һәммисигә қизил кийимләр кийдүрүлгән.
She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household [are] clothed with scarlet.
22 Кариват япқучлирини өзи тоқуйду; Өзиниң кийим-кечәклири канап вә сөсүн рәхттиндур.
She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing [is] silk and purple.
23 Ериниң шәһәр дәрвазилирида абройи бар; Шу йәрдә у жуттики ақсақаллар қатаридин орун алиду.
Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.
24 У нәпис канаптин кийим-кечәк тикип уни сатиду; Бәлвағларни тикип содигәрләрни тәминләйду.
She maketh fine linen, and selleth [it; ] and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.
25 Кийими күч-қудрәт вә иззәт-һөрмәттур; У келәчәккә үмүт билән күлүп қарайду.
Strength and honour [are] her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
26 Ағзини ачсила, дана сөз қилиду, Тилида меһриванә несиһәтләр бар.
She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue [is] the law of kindness.
27 Аилисидики ишлардин дайим хәвәр алиду, Бекарға нан йемәйду.
She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
28 Пәрзәнтлири орнидин туруп униңға бәхит-бәрикәт тиләйду; Ериму мубарәкләп уни махтап: —
Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband [also], and he praiseth her.
29 «Пәзиләт билән яшиған аяллар көптур, Бирақ сән уларниң һәммисидинму ешип чүшисән» — дәйду.
Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.
30 Гөзәллик сеһри алдамчидур, Һөсн-җамалму пәқәт бир көпүк, халас, Пәқәт Пәрвәрдигардин қорқидиған аялла махтилиду!
Favour [is] deceitful, and beauty [is] vain: [but] a woman [that] feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.
31 У өз меһнитиниң мевилиридин бәһримән болсун! Әҗирлири уни дәрвазиларда һөрмәт-шөһрәткә ериштүрсун!
Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.
