1 Аюп җававән мундақ деди: —
Forsothe Joob answeride, and seide,
2 «Гәплиримгә қулақ селиңлар, Бу силәрниң маңа бәргән «тәсәллилириңлар»ниң орнида болсун!
Y preye, here ye my wordis, and do ye penaunce.
3 Сөз қилишимға йол қойсаңлар; Сөз қилғинимдин кейин, йәнә мазақ қиливериңлар!
Suffre ye me, that Y speke; and leiye ye aftir my wordis, if it schal seme worthi.
4 Мениң шикайитим болса, инсанға қаритиливатамду? Роһум қандақму бетақәт болмисун?
Whether my disputyng is ayens man, that skilfuli Y owe not to be sori?
5 Маңа убдан қараңларчу? Силәр чоқум һәйран қалисиләр, Қолуңлар билән ағзиңларни етивалисиләр.
Perseyue ye me, and be ye astonyed; and sette ye fyngur on youre mouth.
6 Мән бу ишлар үстидә ойлансамла, вәһимигә чөмимән, Пүтүн әтлиримни титрәк басиду.
And whanne Y bithenke, Y drede, and tremblyng schakith my fleisch.
7 Немишкә яманлар яшивериду, Узун өмүр көриду, Һәтта зор күч-һоқуқлуқ болиду?
Whi therfor lyuen wickid men? Thei ben enhaunsid, and coumfortid with richessis.
8 Уларниң нәсли өз алдида, Пәрзәнтлири көз алдида мәзмут өсиду,
Her seed dwellith bifor hem; the cumpeny of kynesmen, and of sones of sones dwellith in her siyt.
9 Уларниң өйлири вәһимидин аман туриду, Тәңриниң тайиғи уларниң үстигә тәгмәйду.
Her housis ben sikur, and pesible; and the yerde of God is not on hem.
10 Уларниң калилири җүпләнсә уруқлимай қалмайду, Иники мозайлайду, Мозийиниму ташлимайду.
The cow of hem conseyuede, and caluede not a deed calf; the cow caluyde, and is not priued of hir calf.
11 [Рәзилләр] кичик балилирини қой падисидәк талаға чиқиривериду, Уларниң пәрзәнтлири тақлап-сәкрәп уссул ойнап жүриду.
Her litle children goen out as flockis; and her yonge children `maken fulli ioye with pleies.
12 Улар дап һәм чилтарға тәңкәш қилиду, Улар нәйниң авазидин шатлиниду.
Thei holden tympan, and harpe; and ioien at the soun of orgun.
13 Улар күнлирини аватчилиқ ичидә өткүзиду, Андин көзни жумуп ачқучила тәһтисараға чүшүп кетиду. (Sheol h7585)
Thei leden in goodis her daies; and in a point thei goen doun to hellis. (Sheol h7585)
14 Һәм улар Тәңригә: «Биздин нери бол, Бизниң йоллириң билән тонушқимиз йоқтур!» — дәйду,
Whiche men seiden to God, Go thou awei fro us; we nylen the kunnyng of thi weies.
15 — «Һәммигә Қадирниң хизмитидә болушниң әрзигидәк нәри барду? Униңға дуа қилсақ бизгә немә пайда болсун?!».
Who is Almiyti God, that we serue him? and what profitith it to vs, if we preien him?
16 Қараңлар, уларниң бәхити өз қолида әмәсму? Бирақ яманларниң нәсиһити мәндин нери болсун!
Netheles for her goodis ben not in her hond, `that is, power, the counsel of wickid men be fer fro me.
17 Яманларниң чириғи қанчә қетим өчиду? Уларни өзлиригә лайиқ күлпәт басамду? [Худа] ғәзивидин уларға дәрдләрни бөлүп берәмду?
Hou ofte schal the lanterne of wickid men be quenchid, and flowing schal come on hem, and God schal departe the sorewis of his stronge veniaunce?
18 Улар шамал алдидики еңизға охшаш, Қара қуюн учуруп кетидиған пахалға охшашла йоқамду?
Thei schulen be as chaffis bifor the face of the wynd; and as a deed sparcle, whiche the whirlewynd scaterith abrood.
19 Тәңри униң қәбиһлигини балилириға чүшүрүшкә қалдурамду? [Худа] бу җазани униң өзигә бәрсун, униң өзи буни тетисун!
God schal kepe the sorewe of the fadir to hise sones; and whanne he hath yoldun, thanne he schal wite.
20 Өзиниң һалакитини өз көзи билән көрсун; Өзи Һәммигә Қадирниң қәһрини тетисун!
Hise iyen schulen se her sleyng; and he schal drynke of the stronge veniaunce of Almyyti God.
21 Чүнки униң бекитилгән жил-айлири түгигәндин кейин, У қандақму йәнә өз өйдикилиридин һозур-һалавәт алалисун?
For whi what perteyneth it to hym of his hows aftir hym, thouy the noumbre of his monethis be half takun awey?
22 Тәңри каттиларниң үстидинму һөкүм қилғандин кейин, Униңға билим үгитәләйдиған адәм бармидур?!
Whether ony man schal teche God kunnyng, which demeth hem that ben hiye?
23 Бириси сақ-саламәт, пүтүнләй ғәм-әндишсиз, азатиликтә жиллири тошқанда өлиду;
This yuel man dieth strong and hool, riche and blesful, `that is, myrie.
24 Беқинлири сүт билән семиз болиду, Устиханлириниң илиги хелә нәм туриду.
Hise entrails ben ful of fatnesse; and hise boonys ben moistid with merowis.
25 Йәнә бириси болса аччиқ арманда түгәп кетиду; У һеч қандақ раһәт-парағәт көрмигән.
Sotheli anothir wickid man dieth in the bittirnesse of his soule, and with outen ony richessis.
26 Улар билән биллә топа-чаңда тәң ятиду, Қурутлар уларға чаплишиду.
And netheles thei schulen slepe togidere in dust, and wormes schulen hile hem.
27 — Мана, силәрниң немини ойлаватқанлиғиңларни, Мени қарилаш нийәтлириңларни билимән.
Certis Y knowe youre wickid thouytis, and sentensis ayens me.
28 Чүнки силәр мәндин: «Есилзадиниң өйи нәгә кәткән? Рәзилләрниң турған чедирлири нәдидур?» дәп сораватисиләр.
For ye seien, Where is the hows of the prince? and where ben the tabernaclis of wickid men?
29 Силәр йолучилардин шуни соримидиңларму? Уларниң шу баянлириға көңүл қоймидиңларму?
Axe ye ech of `the weie goeris; and ye schulen knowe, that he vndurstondith these same thingis,
30 [Демәк], «Яман адәм палакәт күнидин сақлинип қалиду, Улар ғәзәп күнидин қутулуп қалиду!» — [дәйду].
that an yuel man schal be kept in to the dai of perdicioun, and schal be led to the dai of woodnesse.
31 Ким [рәзилниң] тутқан йолини йүз туранә әйипләйду? Ким униңға өз қилмиши үчүн тегишлик җазасини йегүзиду?
Who schal repreue hise weies bifor hym? and who schal yelde to hym tho thingis, whiche he hath doon?
32 Әксичә, у һәйвәт билән йәрлигигә көтирип меңилиду, Униң қәбри күзәт астида туриду.
He schal be led to the sepulcris; and he schal wake in the heep of deed men.
33 Җилғиниң чалмилири униңға татлиқ билиниду; Униң алдидиму сансиз адәмләр кәткәндәк, Униң кәйнидинму барлиқ адәмләр әгишип бариду.
He was swete to the `stoonys, ether filthis, of helle; and drawith ech man aftir hym, and vnnoumbrable men bifor him.
34 Силәр немишкә маңа қуруқ гәп билән тәсәлли бәрмәкчи? Силәрниң җаваплириңларда пәқәт сахтилиқла тепилиду!
Hou therfor coumforten ye me in veyn, sithen youre answeris ben schewid to `repugne to treuthe?
