1 Худаниң вә Рәббимиз Әйса Мәсиһниң қули болған мәнки Яқуптин тарқақ туруватқан муһаҗир он икки қәбилигә салам!
James, the seruaunt of God, and of oure Lord Jhesu Crist, to the twelue kinredis, that ben in scatering abrood, helthe.
2 И қериндашлирим, һәр қандақ синақларға дуч кәлсәңлар, буни зор хошаллиқ дәп билиңлар.
My britheren, deme ye al ioye, whanne ye fallen in to diuerse temptaciouns, witynge,
3 Чүнки силәргә мәлумки, бундақ етиқатиңларниң синилиши силәрдә сәвир-чидамлиқ шәкилләндүриду;
that the preuyng of youre feith worchith pacience;
4 сәвир-чидамлиқниң хислити қәлбиңларда туруп шундақ пишип йетилсунки, шуниң билән силәр пишқан, мукәммәл вә кәм-кутисиз болисиләр.
and pacience hath a perfit werk, that ye be perfit and hole, and faile in no thing.
5 Бирақ әгәр араңлардики бириси даналиққа муһтаҗ болса, һәммигә сехийлиқ билән беридиған шундақла әйиплимәйдиған Худадин тилисун. Шуниң билән униңға чоқум ата қилиниду.
And if ony of you nedith wisdom, axe he of God, which yyueth to alle men largeli, and vpbreidith not; and it schal be youun to hym.
6 Бирақ у һеч делиғул болмай ишәш билән тилисун; чүнки делиғул киши худди шамалда урулуп уян-буян йәлпүнгән деңиз долқуниға охшайду.
But axe he in feith, and doute no thing; for he that doutith, is lijk to a wawe of the see, which is moued and borun a boute of wynde.
7 Ундақ киши Рәбдин бирәр нәрсигә еришимән, дәп һеч хиял қилмисун;
Therfor gesse not the ilke man, that he schal take ony thing of the Lord.
8 ундақлар үҗмә көңүл болуп, барлиқ йоллирида тутами йоқ адәмдур.
A man dowble in soule is vnstable in alle hise weies.
9 Намрат болған қериндаш өзиниң жуқуриға көтирилгәнлигигә тәнтәнә қилсун; бай болған қериндаш болса, өзиниң төвән қилинғанлиғиға тәнтәнә қилсун, чүнки у от-чөпләрниң чечәклиридәк тозуп кетиду.
And a meke brother haue glorie in his enhaunsyng,
and a riche man in his lownesse; for as the flour of gras he schal passe.
11 Қуяш чиқип қизиғанда, от-чөпләрни қурутиду, гүллири тозуп кетиду-дә, униң гөзәллиги йоқилиду; бай адәмләр худди шуниңға охшаш, өз һәләкчилигидә йоқилиду.
The sunne roos vp with heete, and driede the gras, and the flour of it felde doun, and the fairnesse of his chere perischide; and so a riche man welewith in hise weies.
12 Синақларға [сәвирчанлиқ билән] бәрдашлиқ бәргән киши нәқәдәр бәхитлик-һә! Чүнки у синақтин өткәндин кейин, [Худа] Өзини сөйгәнләргә вәдә қилған һаят таҗиға муйәссәр болиду.
Blessid is the man, that suffrith temptacioun; for whanne he schal be preued, he schal resseyue the coroun of lijf, which God biheyte to men that louen hym.
13 Адәм аздурулушқа дуч кәлгәндә «Худа мени аздуруватиду» демисун. Чүнки Худа яман ишлар билән аздурулуши мүмкин әмәс һәм башқиларни аздурмайду.
No man whanne he is temptid, seie, that he is temptid of God; for whi God is not a temptere of yuele thingis, for he temptith no man.
14 Бәлки бириси аздурулғанда, өз һәвәс-нәпси қозғилип, уларниң кәйнигә киргән болиду;
But ech man is temptid, drawun and stirid of his owne coueiting.
15 андин һәвәс-нәпс һамилдар болуп гунани туғиду; гуна өсүп йетилип, өлүмгә елип бариду.
Aftirward coueityng, whanne it hath conseyued, bringith forth synne; but synne, whanne it is fillid, gendrith deth.
16 Шуңа сөйүмлүк қериндашлирим, алдинип қалмаңлар!
Therfor, my most dereworthe britheren, nyle ye erre.
17 Барлиқ жүксәк сехийлиқ вә һәр бир мукәммәл илтипат жуқуридин, йәни [асмандики] [барлиқ] йоруқлуқларниң Атисидин чүшүп келиду; Униңда һеч қандақ өзгириш болмайду яки Униңда «айлиниш» билән һасил болидиған көләңгиләрму болмайду.
Ech good yifte, and ech perfit yifte is from aboue, and cometh doun fro the fadir of liytis, anentis whom is noon other chaungyng, ne ouerschadewyng of reward.
18 У бизни [Өзи яратқан барлиқ] мәвҗудатларниң ичидә Өзигә дәсләп пишқан мевидәк болсун дәп, Өз ирадиси бойичә бизни һәқиқәтниң сөз-калами арқилиқ туғдурди.
For wilfulli he bigat vs bi the word of treuthe, that we be a bigynnyng of his creature.
19 Шуниң билән, и сөйүмлүк қериндашлирим, һәр адәм аңлашқа тез тәйяр турсун, сөзләшкә алдиримисун, ғәзәплинишкә алдирмисун.
Wite ye, my britheren moost loued, be ech man swift to here, but slow to speke, and slow to wraththe;
20 Чүнки инсанниң ғәзиви Худаниң һәққанийлиғини елип кәлмәйду.
for the wraththe of man worchith not the riytwisnesse of God.
21 Шуниң үчүн, барлиқ ипласлиқларни вә қиниңларға патмайватқан рәзилликни ташлаңлар, [қәлбиңларда] йилтиз тартқузулған, силәрни қутқузалайдиған сөз-каламни кәмтәрлик-мөминлик билән қобул қилиңлар.
For which thing caste ye awei al vnclennesse, and plentee of malice, and in myldenesse resseyue ye the word that is plauntid, that may saue youre soulis.
22 Амма өз-өзүңларни алдап пәқәт сөз-каламни аңлиғучилардин болмаңлар, бәлки уни иҗра қилғучилардин болуңлар.
But be ye doeris of the word, and not hereris oneli, disseiuynge you silf.
23 Чүнки бириси сөз-каламни аңлап қоюпла, уни иҗра қилмиса, у худди әйнәктә өзиниң әйни қияпитигә қарап қоюп, кетип қалған кишигә охшайду; чүнки у өз турқиға қарап болуп, чиқипла, шу һаман өзиниң қандақ екәнлигини унтуйду.
For if ony man is an herere of the word, and not a doere, this schal be licned to a man that biholdith the cheer of his birthe in a mirour;
for he bihelde hym silf, and wente awei, and anoon he foryat which he was.
25 Лекин әшу кишиләрни әркинликкә ериштүридиған мукәммәл қанунға әстайидиллиқ билән давамлиқ қарап, унтуғақ аңлиғучи болмай, бәлки униң ичидә яшап иҗра қилғучи болған киши ишлирида бәхитлик қилиниду.
But he that biholdith in the lawe of perfit fredom, and dwellith in it, and is not maad a foryetful herere, but a doere of werk, this schal be blessid in his dede.
26 Бириси өзини ихласмән адәммән дәп һесаплиған, лекин тилини тизгинлимигән болса, өзини өзи алдайду; бундақ кишиниң ихласмәнлиги беһудиликтур.
And if ony man gessith hym silf to be religiouse, and refreyneth not his tunge, but disseyueth his herte, the religioun of him is veyn.
27 ХудаАтимизниң нәзиридики пак вә дағсиз ихласмәнлик шуки, қийинчилиқта қалған житим-йесир, тул хотунларни йоқлап, уларға ғәмхорлуқ қилиш вә өзини бу дунияниң булғишидин дағсиз сақлаштур.
A clene religioun, and an vnwemmed anentis God and the fadir, is this, to visite fadirles and modirles children, and widewis in her tribulacioun, and to kepe hym silf vndefoulid fro this world.
