1 И [һөрмәтлик] Теофилос, мән дәсләп язған баян Әйса өзи таллиған расулларға Муқәддәс Роһ арқилиқ әмирләрни тапшуруп асманға көтирилгән күнгичә болған униң барлиқ әмәллири һәм барлиқ тәлим беришлириниң башланмиси тоғрисида еди.
THE former treatise, Theophilus, I composed, concerning all things which Jesus began both to do and to teach,
until that day, when having given a charge to his apostles through the Holy Ghost, whom he had chosen, he was taken up:
3 У азап-оқубәтләрни тартқандин кейин, уларға көп испатлар билән өзиниң тирик екәнлигини көрсәткән; у уларға қириқ күн ичидә көрүнгән болуп, Худаниң падишалиғиға аит ишлар тоғрилиқ сөзләп бәргән;
to whom also he had shewed himself alive, after he had suffered, by many infallible proofs, during forty days being frequently seen by them, and speaking of the things which relate to the kingdom of God:
4 вә улар билән җәм қилинғанда мундақ әмир қилди: — «Йерусалимдин айрилмай, силәр мәндин аңлиған, Атиниң вәдисини күтүңлар.
and assembling them together, commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father, which, said he, ye have heard from me.
5 Чүнки Йәһя суда чөмүлдүргән, лекин силәр болсаңлар көп күнләр өтмәй Муқәддәс Роһта чөмүлдүрүлисиләр».
For John indeed baptised with water; but ye shall be baptised with the Holy Ghost not many days after the present.
6 Расуллар [униң билән] җәм қилинғанда, униңдин: — И Рәб, сән мошу вақитта Исраилниң падишалиғини әслигә кәлтүрмәкчимусән? — дәп сорашқа башлиди.
They then accordingly assembling together, asked him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time reestablish the kingdom of Israel?
7 У уларға мундақ деди: — Ата Өз һоқуқиға асасән бекиткән вақит-пәйтләрни силәрниң билиш несивәңлар йоқ.
But he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times and the seasons, which the Father hath reserved under his own authority.
8 Бирақ Муқәддәс Роһ үстүңларға чүшкәндә силәр күч-қудрәткә егә болисиләр, Йерусалим, пүтүн Йәһудийә вә Самарийә бойичә һәм җаһанниң чәтлиригичә маңа гувачи болисиләр.
But ye shall receive power, when the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses for me, both in Jerusalem, and throughout all Judea, and Samaria, and unto the extremity of the earth.
9 У бу сөзләрни қилип болуп, улар қарап турғанда көтирилди, бир парчә булут уни ариға алди-дә, у уларниң нәзиридин ғайип болди.
And as he was speaking these things, while they were looking upon him, he was taken up; and a cloud enveloping him hid him from their eyes.
10 У асманға көтирилгәндә, улар көзлирини көккә тикип қарашқанда, мана туюқсиз уларниң йенида ақ кийим кийгән икки адәм пәйда болуп:
And as they looked up earnestly into the heaven, while he was passing, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
11 — Әй Галилийәликләр, немишкә өрә турғиниңларчә асманға қарап қалдиңлар? Силәр силәрдин айрилип әршкә көтирилгән шу Әйсаниң асманға қандақ көтирилгинини көргән болсаңлар, йәнә шу һалда қайтип келиду, — деди.
who also said to them, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up to heaven? this Jesus, who hath been taken up from you into heaven, shall so come, in the same manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
12 Андин улар Йерусалимға йеқин, униңдин бир чақиримчә жирақлиқтики Зәйтун теғидин Йерусалимға қайтип кәлди.
Then they returned unto Jerusalem, from the mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, about a sabbath-day’s journey distant.
13 Улар шәһәргә кирип, өзлири туруватқан өйниң үстүнки қәвитидики бир өйгә чиқти. Шу йәрдә Петрус, Юһанна, Яқуп, Андирияс, Филип, Томас, Бартоломай, Матта, Алфайниң оғли Яқуп, «милләтпәрвәр» Симон вә [йәнә бир] Яқупниң оғли Йәһуда бар еди.
And when they had arrived, they went up to an upper room, where abode Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James son of Alpheus, and Simon the zealous, and Jude brother to James.
14 Булар бир җан бир дил болуп үзүлдүрмәй берилип дуа-тилавәт қилишти; бу ишта бир йәргә җәм болғанлардин бир қанчә аял, җүмлидин Әйсаниң аниси Мәрйәм һәмдә Әйсаниң инилириму бар еди.
These all persevered unanimously in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.
15 Шу күнләрниң биридә, Петрус қериндашлар оттурисида өрә туруп (җәм болушқанлар бир йүз жигирмигә йеқин еди) мундақ деди:
And in those days arose Peter in the midst of the disciples, and said, (there was a number of persons together, about an hundred and twenty, )
16 — Қериндашлар, Әйсани тутқанларға йол башлиғучи болған Йәһуда һәққидә Муқәддәс Роһниң бурун Давут арқилиқ алдин-ала ейтқан муқәддәс язмилардики сөзлири әмәлгә ешиши муқәррәр еди.
Men and brethren, it must needs be that this scripture should be fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost delivered before by the mouth of David concerning Judas, who was the conductor of those who seized on Jesus.
17 Чүнки [Йәһуда]му аримиздин бири һесапланған вә [Худаниң] бу хизмитидин несивиси бар еди
For he was reckoned of our number, and had obtained an appointment to this ministry.
18 (у қилған қәбиһликниң инъамидин еришкән пулға бир парчә йәр сетивалған еди, у шу йәрдә бешичилап жиқилип, үчәй-қерини чувулуп кәтти;
This man indeed accordingly purchased a spot of ground with the wages of iniquity; and projected forward, he burst in the midst, and all his bowels fell out.
19 бу иш пүткүл Йерусалимдикиләргә мәлум болуп, улар у йәрни өз тили билән «Һақәлдәма» дәп аташти. Буниң мәнаси «қан төкүлгән йәр» дегәнликтур)
And it was a fact known to all who dwelt at Jerusalem; so that this field is called in their own dialect, Aceldama, that is, The field of blood.
20 Чүнки Зәбурда [Йәһудаға] [қаритилған] муну сөзләр пүтүлгән: — «Униң туралғуси чөлгә айлансун, Униңда һеч турғучи болмисун!» Вә: — «Униң йетәкчилик орниға башқа бириси чиқсун!»
For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let there be no man to dwell in it: and his office, as bishop, let another take.
21 Шуниң үчүн, Рәб Әйсаниң тирилгәнлигигә биз билән тәң гувалиқ бериши үчүн, бир кишини таллишимиз керәк. Бу киши Әйса аримизда жүргән күнләрдә, Йәһя [пәйғәмбәр]дин чөмүлдүрүшни қобул қилған күндин башлап таки асманға көтирилгән күнгичә биз билән баштин-ахир биллә болған кишиләрдин болуши керәк, — деди.
Wherefore from among the men who have associated with us always during the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us,
beginning from his baptism by John, until the day in which he was taken up from us, must there be chosen with us a witness of his resurrection, even one of these.
23 Шуниң билән улар Йүсүп (йәнә Барсабас дәпму аталған, йәнә бир исми Юстус) билән Маттияс дегән икки кишини бекитип, мундақ дуа қилишти:
So they appointed two persons, Joseph called Barsabas, whose sirname was Justus, and Matthias.
24 — Сән, и һәммә адәмниң қәлбини билгүчи Пәрвәрдигар! Йәһуда тейилип бу хизмәт вә расуллуқтин мәһрум болуп өзигә хас болған йәргә кәтти. Әнди у ташлап қойған хизмәт вә расуллуқниң несивисигә егә болушқа бу иккиләндин қайсисини таллиғанлиғиңни көрсәткәйсән!
And joining in prayer, they said, Do thou, O Lord, who knowest the hearts of all men, point out the one of these two which thou hast chosen,
to take a part in this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell, to go to his own place.
26 Андин улар бу икки кишигә чәк ташливиди, чәк Маттиясқа чиқти. Шуниң билән у он бир расул билән бир қатардин орун алған һесапланди.
And they drew lots for them and the lot fell to Matthias and he was by unanimous suffrage numbered with the eleven apostles.
