And it came to pass, after the year had expired, at the time when kings go forth [to battle], that David sent Joab, and his servants with him, and all Israel; and they destroyed the children of Ammon, and destroyed Rabbah. But David tarried still at Jerusalem.
2 Бир күни кәчтә Давут кариваттин қопуп, падиша ордисиниң өгизисидә айлинип жүрәтти; өгүздин у мунчида жуюниватқан бир аялни көрди. Бу аял бәк чирайлиқ еди.
And it came to pass in an evening, that David arose from off his bed, and walked upon the roof of the king's house: and from the roof he saw a woman washing herself; and the woman [was] very beautiful to look upon.
3 Давут адәм әвәтип, аялниң хәвирини сориди; бириси униңға: — Бу Елиамниң қизи, Һиттий Урияниң аяли Бат-Шеба әмәсму? — деди.
And David sent and inquired after the woman. And [one] said, [Is] not this Bath-sheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite?
4 Давут киши әвәтип, уни қешиға әкәлтүрди (у вақитта у адәттин паклиниватқан еди). У униң қешиға кәлгәндә, Давут униң билән биллә болди; андин у өз өйигә йенип кәтти.
And David sent messengers, and took her; and she came in to him, and he lay with her; for she was purified from her uncleanness: and she returned to her house.
5 Шуниң билән у аял һамилдар болди, һәм Давутқа: Мениң боюмда қапту, дәп хәвәр әвәтти.
And the woman conceived, and sent and told David, and said, I [am] with child.
6 Шуниң билән Давут Йоабқа хәвәр йәткүзүп: Һиттий Урияни мениң қешимға әвәтиңлар, деди. Йоаб Урияни Давутниң қешиға маңдурди.
And David sent to Joab, [saying], Send me Uriah the Hittite. And Joab sent Uriah to David.
7 Урия Давутниң қешиға кәлгәндә, у Йоабниң һалини, хәлиқниң һалини вә җәң әһвалини сориди.
And when Uriah had come to him, David inquired [of him] how Joab did, and how the people did, and how the war prospered.

And David said to Uriah, Go down to thy house, and wash thy feet. And Uriah departed out of the king's house, and there followed him a mess [of meat] from the king.

But Uriah slept at the door of the king's house with all the servants of his lord, and went not down to his house.
10 Улар Давутқа: Урия өз өйигә бармиди, дәп хәвәр бәрди. Давут Уриядин: Сән жирақ сәпәрдин кәлдиң әмәсму? Немишкә өз өйүңгә кәтмидиң? — дәп сориди.
And when they had told David, saying, Uriah went not down to his house, David said to Uriah, Camest thou not from [thy] journey? why [then] didst thou not go down to thy house?
11 Урия Давутқа: Мана, әһдә сандуғи, Исраиллар вә Йәһудалар болса кәпиләрдә туруп, ғоҗам Йоаб билән ғоҗамниң хизмәткарлири очуқ далада чедир тикип йетиватса, мән йәп-ичип, аялим билән йетишқа өйүмгә барайму? Сениң җениң билән вә һаятиң билән қәсәм қилимәнки, мән ундақ ишни қилмаймән — деди.
And Uriah said to David, The ark, and Israel, and Judah, abide in tents; and my lord Joab, and the servants of my lord are encamped in the open fields; shall I then go into my house, to eat and to drink, and to lie with my wife? [as] thou livest, and [as] thy soul liveth, I will not do this thing.
12 Давут Урияға: Бүгүн бу йәрдә қалғин, әтә сени кәткүзветимән, — деди. Урия у күни вә әтиси Йерусалимда қалди.
And David said to Uriah, Tarry here to-day also, and to-morrow I will let thee depart. So Uriah abode in Jerusalem that day and the morrow.
13 Давут уни чақирип һәмдәстихан қилип, йәп-ичкүзүп мәс қилди. Лекин шу кечиси Урия өз өйигә бармай, чиқип ғоҗисиниң қул-хизмәткарлириниң арисида өз каривитида ухлиди.
And when David had called him, he ate and drank before him; and he made him drunk: and at evening he went out to lie on his bed with the servants of his lord, but went not down to his house.
14 Әтиси Давут Йоабқа хәт йезип, Урияниң алғач кетишигә бәрди.
And it came to pass in the morning, that David wrote a letter to Joab, and sent [it] by the hand of Uriah.
15 Хәттә у: Урияни соқуш әң кәскин болидиған алдинқи сәптә турғузғин, андин униң өлтүрүлүши үчүн униңдин чекинип туруңлар, дәп язған еди.
And he wrote in the letter, saying, Set ye Uriah in the front of the hottest battle, and retire ye from him, that he may be smitten, and die.
16 Шуниң билән Йоаб шәһәрни күзитип, Урияни палванлар [кәскин соқушқан] йәргә маңдурди.
And it came to pass, when Joab observed the city, that he assigned Uriah to a place where he knew that valiant men [were].
17 Шәһәрдики адәмләр чиқип, Йоаб билән соқушқанда хәлиқтин, йәни Давутниң адәмлиридин бир нәччиси жиқилди; Урияму өлди.
And the men of the city went out, and fought with Joab: and there fell [some] of the people of the servants of David; and Uriah the Hittite died also.
18 Йоаб адәм әвәтип җәңниң һәммә вақиәлиридин Давутқа хәвәр бәрди.
Then Joab sent and told David all the things concerning the war;
19 У хәвәрчигә мундақ тапилиди: Падишаға җәңниң һәммә вақиәлирини дәп болғиниңда,
And charged the messenger, saying, When thou hast made an end of telling the matters of the war to the king,
20 әгәр падиша ғәзәплинип сениңдин: Соқушқанда немишкә шәһәр сепилиға шундақ йеқин бардиңлар? Уларниң сепилидин я атидиғанлиғини билмәмтиңлар?
And if the king's wrath shall rise, and he shall say to thee, Why approached ye so nigh to the city for the fight? knew ye not that they would shoot from the wall?
21 Йәруббәшәтниң оғли Абимәләкни ким өлтүргинини билмәмсән? Бир хотун сепилдин униңға бир парчә ярғунчақ тешини етип, у Тәбәз шәһиридә өлмидиму? Немишкә сепилға ундақ йеқин бардиңлар? — Десә, сән: Силиниң қуллири Һиттий Урияму өлди, дәп ейтқин — деди.
Who smote Abimelech the son of Jerubbesheth? did not a woman cast a piece of a millstone upon him from the wall, that he died in Thebez? why went ye nigh the wall? then say thou, Thy servant Uriah the Hittite is dead also.

So the messenger went, and came and showed David all that Joab had sent him for.

And the messenger said to David, Surely the men prevailed against us, and came out to us into the field, and we were upon them even to the entrance of the gate.
24 Андин я атқучилар сепилдин қул-хизмәткарлириңға я етип, падишаниң қул-хизмәткарлиридин бир нәччини өлтүрди. Қуллири Урияму өлди — деди.
And the shooters shot from off the wall upon thy servants: and [some] of the king's servants are dead, and thy servant Uriah the Hittite is dead also.
25 Давут хәвәрчигә: Йоабқа мундақ дегин: — Бу иш нәзириңдә еғир болмисун, қилич я уни я буни йәйду; шәһәргә болған һуҗумиңларни қаттиқ қилип, уни ғулитиңлар, дәп ейтип уни җүръәтләндүргин — деди.
Then David said to the messenger, Thus shalt thou say to Joab, Let not this thing displease thee, for the sword devoureth one as well as another: make thy battle more strong against the city, and overthrow it: and encourage thou him.
26 Урияниң аяли ери Урияниң өлгинини аңлап, ери үчүн матәм тутти.
And when the wife of Uriah heard that Uriah her husband was dead, she mourned for her husband.
27 Матәм күнлири өткәндә Давут адәм әвәтип уни ордисиға кәлтүрди. Шуниң билән у Давутниң аяли болуп, униңға бир оғул туғди. Лекин Давутниң қилған иши Пәрвәрдигарниң нәзиридә рәзил еди.
And when the mourning was past, David sent and brought her to his house, and she became his wife, and bore him a son. But the thing that David had done displeased the LORD.
