1 Саул өз оғли Йонатан вә һәммә хизмәткарлиригә Давутни өлтүрүшкә буйруқ қилди. Лекин Саулниң оғли Йонатан Давутқа бәк амрақ еди.
Saul spoke to Jonathan his son, and to all his servants, that they should kill David. But Jonathan, Saul's son, delighted much in David.
2 Йонатан Давутқа: — Атам Саул сени өлтүрмәкчи; әнди әтә әтигән қаттиқ еһтият қилғин, бир мәхпий җайни тепип өзүңни йошурғин;
Jonathan told David, saying, "Saul my father seeks to kill you. Now therefore, please take care of yourself in the morning, and keep hidden in a secret place.
3 мән өзүм чиқип сән йошурунған етизлиққа берип атамниң йенида туруп атам билән сениң тоғраңда сөзлишип бақай; әһвални ениқ билгәндин кейин саңа хәвәр қилай, деди.
I will go out and stand beside my father in the field where you are, and I will talk with my father about you; and if I see anything, I will tell you."
4 Йонатан атиси Саулға Давутниң яхши гепини қилип: — Падиша өз хизмәткариға, йәни Давутқа яманлиқ қилмиғай! Чүнки у саңа гуна қилмиған; бәлки униң әмәллири өзүңгә көп яхшилиқларни елип кәлгән: —
Jonathan spoke good of David to Saul his father, and said to him, "Do not let the king sin against his servant, against David; because he has not sinned against you, and because his works have been very good toward you;
5 у өз җенини алқиниға елип қопуп һелиқи Филистийни өлтүрди вә шуниң билән Пәрвәрдигар пүткүл Исраил үчүн чоң нусрәт бәрди. Шу чағда сән өзүң көрүп хуш болған әмәсму? Әндиликтә немишкә Давутни сәвәпсиз өлтүрүп наһәқ қан төкүп гунакар болмақчи болисән? — деди.
for he put his life in his hand, and struck the Philistine, and YHWH worked a great victory for all Israel. You saw it, and rejoiced. Why then will you sin against innocent blood, to kill David without a cause?"
6 Саул Йонатанниң сөзигә кирди. У: — Пәрвәрдигарниң һаяти билән қәсәм қилимәнки, у өлүмгә мәһкүм қилинмайду, деди.
Saul listened to the voice of Jonathan: and Saul swore, "As YHWH lives, he shall not be put to death."
7 Андин Йонатан Давутни чақирип, Давутқа болған ишларниң һәммисини дәп бәрди. Андин кейин Йонатан Давутни Саулниң қешиға елип кәлди вә у илгәркидәк униң хизмитидә болди.
Jonathan called David, and Jonathan showed him all those things. Jonathan brought David to Saul, and he was in his presence, as before.
8 Амма йәнә җәң болди; Давут чиқип Филистийләр билән җәң қилип, уларни қаттиқ қирип мәғлуп қилди; улар униң алдидин бәдәр қечисти.
There was war again. David went out, and fought with the Philistines, and killed them with a great slaughter; and they fled before him.
9 Әнди Пәрвәрдигар тәрипидин қабаһәтлик бир роһ йәнә Саулни басти. У өз өйидә қолида нәйзисини тутуп олтиратти; Давут болса қоли билән саз челип туратти.
An evil spirit from YHWH was on Saul, as he sat in his house with his spear in his hand; and David was playing with his hand.
10 Саул нәйзә билән Давутни санҗип тамға қадап қоймақчи боливиди, лекин Давут өзини қачурувалди, нәйзә тамға қадилип қалди. Давут шу кечиси қечип қутулди.
Saul sought to pin David even to the wall with the spear; but he slipped away out of Saul's presence, and he stuck the spear into the wall. David fled, and escaped that night.
11 Саул бир нәччә чапармәнләрни Давутниң өйигә әвәтип уни пайлап туруп әтиси таң йоруғанда уни өлтүрүшкә маңдурди. Амма Давутниң аяли Миқал униңға: — Әгәр бу кечә җениңни елип қачмисаң, әтә өлтүрүлисән, деди.
Saul sent messengers to David's house, to watch him, and to kill him in the morning. Mikal, David's wife, told him, saying, "If you do not save your life tonight, tomorrow you will be killed."
12 Шуңа Миқал Давутни пәнҗирдин чүшүрүп қойди. Шундақ қилип у қечип қутулди.
So Mikal let David down through the window. He went, fled, and escaped.
13 Андин Миқал бир «тәрафим» бутни елип кариватқа ятқузуп, бешиға өшкә жуңидин қилинған бир ястуқни қоюп, әдиял билән йепип қойди.
Mikal took the teraphim, and laid it in the bed, and put a pillow of goats' hair at its head, and covered it with the clothes.
14 Саул Давутни тутуш үчүн чапармәнләрни әвәткәндә Миқал: — У ағрип қалди, деди.
When Saul sent messengers to take David, she said, "He is sick."
15 Саул чапармәнләрни [қайтидин] әвәтип: — Уни кариват билән қошуп елип келиңлар, уни өлтүримән, дәп буйруди.
Saul sent the messengers to see David, saying, "Bring him up to me in the bed, that I may kill him."
16 Чапармәнләр киргәндә, мана кариватта бу бут ятатти, бешиға өшкә жуңидин қилинған ястуқ қоюлған еди.
When the messengers came in, look, the teraphim was in the bed, with the pillow of goats' hair at its head.
17 Саул Миқалға: — Немишкә мени бундақ алдап, дүшминимни қачуруветисән? — деди. Миқал Саулға җавап берип: — У: «Мени қоювәткин; болмиса сени өлтүрүветимән» деди, деди.
Saul said to Mikal, "Why have you deceived me thus, and let my enemy go, so that he is escaped?" Mikal answered Saul, "He said to me, 'Let me go. Why should I kill you?'"
18 Давут қечип қутулуп, Рамаһқа Самуилниң қешиға берип, Саулниң униңға қилғанлириниң һәммисини дәп бәрди. Андин у Самуил билән Найотқа берип олтирақлашти.
Now David fled, and escaped, and came to Samuel to Ramah, and told him all that Saul had done to him. And he and Samuel went and lived in the dwellings.
19 Бириси Саулға: — Давут Рамаһдики Найотта бар екән, дәп хәвәр бәрди.
And it was told to Saul, saying, "Look, David is in the dwellings at Ramah."
20 Саул Давутни тутуп келишкә чапармәнләрни маңдурди. Амма улар йетип барғанда пәйғәмбәрләрниң бир җамаити бешарәт бериватқанлиғини вә Самуилниңму уларниң арисида туруп уларға назарәтчилик қиливатқанлиғини көрди; шундақ болдики, Худаниң Роһи Саулниң чапармәнлириниң вуҗудиғиму чүшүп, уларму һәм бешарәт беришкә башлиди.
And Saul sent messengers to capture David. But when they saw a company of the prophets prophesying, and Samuel standing as head over them, the Spirit of God came upon the messengers of Saul, and they also prophesied.

When it was told to Saul, he sent other messengers, and they also prophesied. Saul sent messengers again the third time, and they also prophesied.
22 Андин Саул өзи Рамаһқа берип, Сәқудики чоң қудуққа йетип кәлгәндә, «Самуил билән Давут нәдә?» — дәп сориди. Бириси: — Улар Рамаһдики Найотта бар екән, дәп җавап бәрди.
And Saul became very angry, and he himself also went to Ramah, and came to the cistern of the threshing floor that is on the bare hill. And he asked, "Where are Samuel and David?" And one said, "Look, they are in the dwellings at Ramah."
23 Шуңа у Рамаһдики Найотқа йетип кәлди; Худаниң Роһи униң вуҗудиғиму чүшти; шуниң билән уму пиядә меңип Рамаһдики Найотқа барғичә бешарәт берип маңди.
So he went there to the dwellings at Ramah. Then the Spirit of God came on him also, and he went on, and prophesied, until he came to the dwellings in Ramah.
24 У һәтта кийимлирини селиветип Самуилниң алдида бешарәт бәрди; пүтүн бир кечә вә пүтүн бир күндүз у йәрдә ялаңач ятти. Буниң билән: — «Саулму пәйғәмбәрләрдинму?» дәйдиған гәп пәйда болди.
He also stripped off his clothes, and he also prophesied before Samuel, and lay down naked all that day and all that night. Therefore they say, "Is Saul also among the prophets?"
