سامۇئىل 2 10

1 كېيىن شۇنداق ئىش بولدىكى، ئاممونىيلارنىڭ پادىشاھى ئۆلدى ۋە ئۇنىڭ ھانۇن دېگەن ئوغلى ئورنىدا پادىشاھ بولدى.

It happened after this, that the king of the people of Ammon died, and Hanun his son reigned in his place.

2 داۋۇت بولسا: ئۇنىڭ ئاتىسى ماڭا ئىلتىپات كۆرسەتكەندەك مەن ناھاشنىڭ ئوغلى ھانۇنغا ئىلتىپات كۆرسىتەي، ــ دېدى. ئاندىن داۋۇت ئاتىسىنىڭ پەتىسىگە [ھانۇننىڭ] كۆڭلىنى سوراشقا ئۆز خىزمەتكارلىرىدىن بىرنەچچىنى ماڭدۇردى. داۋۇتنىڭ خىزمەتكارلىرى ئاممونىيلارنىڭ زېمىنىغا كەلگەندە،

David said, "I will show kindness to Hanun the son of Nahash, as his father showed kindness to me." So David sent by his servants to comfort him concerning his father. David's servants came into the land of the people of Ammon.

3 ئاممونىيلارنىڭ ئەمەلدارلىرى غوجىسى ھانۇنغا: سىلى داۋۇتنى راستلا ئاتىلىرىنىڭ ھۆرمىتى ئۈچۈن قاشلىرىغا كۆڭۈل سوراپ ئادەم ئەۋەتىپتۇ، دەپ قاراملا؟ داۋۇتنىڭ خىزمەتكارلىرىنى قاشلىرىغا ئەۋەتكىنى شەھەرنى پايلاپ ئۇنىڭدىن مەلۇمات ئېلىش، ئاندىن بۇ شەھەرنى ئاغدۇرۇش ئۈچۈن ئەمەسمۇ؟ ــ دېدى.

But the leaders of the people of Ammon said to Hanun their lord, "Do you think that David honors your father, in that he has sent comforters to you? Hasn't David sent his servants to you to search the city, and to spy it out, and to overthrow it?"

4 شۇنىڭ بىلەن ھانۇن داۋۇتنىڭ خىزمەتكارلىرىنى تۇتۇپ، ساقاللىرىنىڭ يېرىمىنى چۈشۈرۈپ، كىيىملىرىنىڭ بەلدىن تۆۋىنىنى كەستۈرۈپ، كۆتىنى ئېچىپ كەتكۈزۈۋەتتى.

So Hanun took David's servants and shaved off their beards, and cut off their garments in the middle, even to their buttocks, and sent them away.

5 بۇ خەۋەر داۋۇتقا يەتكۈزۈلدى؛ ئۇ ئۇلارنى كۈتۈۋېلىشقا ئالدىغا ئادەم ماڭدۇردى؛ چۈنكى ئۇلار ئىنتايىن نومۇس ھېس قىلغانىدى. پادىشاھ ئۇلارغا: ساقال-بۇرۇتۇڭلار ئۆسكىچىلىك يېرىخو شەھىرىدە تۇرۇپ، ئاندىن يېنىپ كېلىڭلار، ــ دېدى.

When David was told, he sent to meet them; for the men were greatly ashamed. The king said, "Wait at Jericho until your beards have grown, and then return."

6 ئاممونىيلار ئۆزلىرىنىڭ داۋۇتنىڭ نەپرىتىگە ئۇچرىغانلىقىنى بىلىپ، ئادەم ئەۋەتىپ بەيت-رەھوبدىكى سۇرىيلەر بىلەن زوباھدىكى سۇرىيلەردىن يىگىرمە مىڭ پىيادە ئەسكەر، مائاكاھنىڭ پادىشاھىدىن بىر مىڭ ئادەم ۋە توبدىكى ئادەملەردىن ئون ئىككى مىڭ ئادەمنى ياللاپ كەلدى.

When the people of Ammon saw that they were become odious to David, the people of Ammon sent and hired the Arameans of Beth Rehob, and the Arameans of Zobah, twenty thousand footmen, and the king of Maacah with one thousand men, and the men of Tob twelve thousand men.

7 داۋۇت بۇنى ئاڭلاپ، يوئابنىڭ پۈتكۈل جەڭگىۋار قوشۇنىنى [ئۇلارنىڭ ئالدىغا] ماڭدۇردى.

When David heard of it, he sent Joab, and all the army of the mighty men.

8 ئاممونىيلار چىقىپ شەھەرنىڭ دەرۋازىسىنىڭ ئالدىدا سەپ تۈزىدى؛ زوباھ بىلەن رەھوبدىكى سۇرىيلەر ۋە توب بىلەن مائاكاھنىڭ ئادەملىرى دالادا سەپ تۈزىدى؛

The people of Ammon came out, and put the battle in array at the entrance of the gate: and the Arameans of Zobah and of Rehob, and the men of Tob and Maacah, were by themselves in the field.

9 يوئاب جەڭنىڭ ئالدى ھەم كەينىدىن بولىدىغانلىقىغا كۆزى يېتىپ، ئىسرائىلدىن بىر قىسىم سەرخىل ئادەملەرنى ئىلغاپ، سۇرىيەلەرگە قارشى سەپ تۈزىدى؛

Now when Joab saw that the battle was set against him before and behind, he chose of all the choice men of Israel, and put them in array against the Arameans:

10 قالغانلارنى ئاممونىيلارغا قارشى سەپ تىزغىن دەپ ئىنىسى ئابىشاينىڭ قولىغا تاپشۇرپ، ئۇنىڭغا:

The rest of the people he committed into the hand of Abishai his brother; and he put them in array against the people of Ammon.

11 ــ ئەگەر سۇرىيلەر ماڭا كۈچلۈك كەلسە، سەن ماڭا ياردەم بەرگەيسەن؛ ئەمما ئاممونىيلار ساڭا كۈچلۈك كەلسە، مەن بېرىپ ساڭا ياردەم بېرەي.

He said, "If the Arameans are too strong for me, then you shall help me; but if the people of Ammon are too strong for you, then I will come and help you.

12 جۈرئەتلىك بولغىن! ئۆز خەلقىمىز ئۈچۈن ۋە خۇدايىمىزنىڭ شەھەرلىرى ئۈچۈن باتۇرلۇق قىلايلى. پەرۋەردىگار ئۆزىگە لايىق كۆرۈنگىنىنى قىلغاي! ــ دېدى.

Be courageous, and let us be strong for our people, and for the cities of our God; and YHWH do that which seems good to him."

13 ئەمدى يوئاب ۋە ئۇنىڭ بىلەن بولغان ئادەملەر سۇرىيلەرگە ھۇجۇم قىلغىلى چىقتى؛ سۇرىيلەر ئۇنىڭ ئالدىدا قاچتى.

So Joab and the people who were with him drew near to the battle against the Arameans: and they fled before him.

14 ئاممونىيلار سۇرىيلەرنىڭ قاچقىنىنى كۆرگەندە، ئۇلارمۇ ئابىشايدىن قېچىپ، شەھەرگە كىرىۋالدى. يوئاب بولسا ئاممونىيلار بىلەن جەڭ قىلىشتىن چېكىنىپ، يېرۇسالېمغا يېنىپ كەلدى.

When the people of Ammon saw that the Arameans had fled, they likewise fled before Abishai, and entered into the city. Then Joab returned from the people of Ammon, and came to Jerusalem.

15 سۇرىيلەر بولسا ئۆزلىرىنىڭ ئىسرائىللارنىڭ ئالدىدا مەغلۇپ بولغىنىنى كۆرگەندە، يەنە جەم بولۇشتى.

When the Arameans saw that they were defeated by the children of Israel, they gathered themselves together.

16 ھادادئېزەر ئادەملەرنى ئەۋەتىپ، [ئەفرات] دەرياسىنىڭ نېرى تەرىپىدىكى سۇرىيلەرنى [ياردەمگە] چاقىرىپ، ئۇلارنى يۆتكەپ كەلدى؛ ئۇلار خېلام شەھىرىگە كەلگەندە، ھادادئېزەرنىڭ قوشۇنىنىڭ سەردارى شوباك ئۇلارغا باشچىلىق قىلدى.

Hadadezer sent, and brought out the Arameans who were beyond the River: and they came to Helam, with Shobach the captain of the army of Hadadezer at their head.

17 بۇ خەۋەر داۋۇتقا يەتكەندە، ئۇ پۈتكۈل ئىسرائىلنى يىغدۇرۇپ، ئىئوردان دەرياسىدىن ئۆتۈپ، خېلام شەھىرىگە باردى. سۇرىيلەر داۋۇتقا قارشى سەپ تىزىپ، ئۇنىڭغا ھۇجۇم قىلدى.

It was told David; and he gathered all Israel together, and passed over the Jordan, and came to Helam. The Arameans set themselves in array against David, and fought with him.

18 سۇرىيلەر يەنە ئىسرائىلدىن قاچتى. داۋۇت بولسا يەتتە يۈز جەڭ ھارۋىلىقنى، قىرىق مىڭ ئاتلىق ئەسكەرنى قىردى ھەم قوشۇنىنىڭ سەردارى شوباكنى ئۇ يەردە ئۆلتۈردى.

The Arameans fled before Israel; and David killed of the Arameans seven hundred charioteers, and forty thousand foot soldiers, and struck Shobach the captain of their army, so that he died there.

19 ھادادئېزەرگە بېقىنغان ھەممە پادىشاھلار ئۆزلىرىنىڭ ئىسرائىل ئالدىدا يېڭىلگىنىنى كۆرگەندە، ئىسرائىل بىلەن سۈلھ قىلىشىپ ئۇلارغا بېقىندى. شۇنىڭدىن كېيىن سۇرىيلەر ئاممونىيلارغا يەنە ياردەم بىرىشكە جۈرئەت قىلالمىدى.

When all the kings who were servants to Hadadezer saw that they were defeated before Israel, they made peace with Israel, and served them. So the Arameans feared to help the people of Ammon any more.
