До римлян 7
1 Чи ви не знаєте, браття, — бо говорю́ тим, хто знає Закона, — що Зако́н панує над люди́ною, поки вона живе?
Or are you ignorant, brothers — to those knowing for law I speak — that the law rules over the man for as long as [the] time he is alive?
2 Бо замі́жня жінка, поки живе чоловік, прив'язана до нього Законом; а коли помре чоловік, вона звільняється від закону чоловіка.
The for married woman to the living husband has been bound by law; if however shall die the husband, she has been cleared from the law of the husband.
3 Тому то, поки живе чоловік, вона буде вважатися перелю́бницею, якщо стане дружи́ною іншому чоловікові; коли ж чоловік помре, вона вільна від Зако́ну, і не буде перелю́бницею, якщо стане за дружи́ну іншому чоловікові.
Then therefore while is living the husband an adulteress she will be called if she shall become [married] to man another; if however shall die the husband, free she is from the law which not to be her an adulteress having become [married] to man another.
4 Так, мої браття, і ви вмерли для Зако́ну через тіло Христове, щоб належати вам іншому, Воскре́слому з мертвих, щоб прино́сити плід Богові.
Likewise, brothers of mine, also you yourselves were put to death to the law through the body of Christ for to belong you to another, to the [One] out from [the] dead having been raised, so that we may bear fruit to God.
5 Бо коли ми жили за ті́лом, то при́страсті гріховні, що похо́дять від Закону, ді́яли в наших членах, щоб прино́сити плід смерти.
While for we were in the flesh, the passions of sins that [were] through the law were at work in the members of us to the bringing forth of fruit to death;
6 А тепер ми звільни́лись від Закону, умерши для того, чим були зв'язані, щоб служити нам обно́вленням духа, а не старістю букви.
Now however we have been released from the law having died to that which we were bound, in order for to serve us in newness of [the] Spirit and not in oldness of [the] letter.
7 Що ж скажемо? Чи Зако́н — то гріх? Зо́всім ні! Але я не пізнав гріха, як тільки через Зако́н, бо я не знав би пожадливости, коли б Закон не наказував: „Не пожада́й“.
What then will we say? [Is] the law sin? Never would it be! But sin not I have known only except through law; then for covetousness not I had known, only except the law was saying; Not you will covet;
8 Але гріх, узявши при́від від заповіді, зробив у мені всяку пожадливість, бо без Закону гріх мертвий.
An occasion however having taken sin through the commandment it produced in me myself all covetousness; apart from for [the] Law sin [is] dead;
9 А я колись жив без Закону, але, коли прийшла заповідь, то гріх ожив,
I myself however was alive apart from law once; when was coming however the commandment the sin revived, I myself then died,
10 а я вмер; і сталася мені та заповідь, що для життя, на смерть,
And proved to be me the commandment that [was] to life this to death;
11 бо гріх, узявши причину від заповіді, звів мене, і нею вмертви́в.
The for sin an occasion having taken through the commandment deceived me and through it put [me] to death;
12 Тому́ то Зако́н святий, і заповідь свята, і праведна, і добра.
So indeed the law [is] holy and the commandment [is] holy and righteous and good.
13 Тож чи добре стало мені смертю? Зо́всім ні! Але гріх, щоб стати гріхом, приніс мені смерть добром, щоб гріх став мі́цно грі́шний через за́повідь.
That which then [is] good to me myself (became *N+kO) death? Never would it be! But sin, in order that it may be shown as sin, through that which [is] good to me is working out death, so that may become beyond excess sinful sin through the commandment.
14 Бо ми знаємо, що Зако́н духовний, а я тіле́сний, про́даний під гріх.
We know for that the Law spiritual is, I myself however (fleshly *N+kO) am sold under sin.
15 Бо що́ я виконую, не розумію; я бо чиню не те, що́ хочу, але що́ нена́виджу, те я роблю́.
What for I do not I understand; not for what I want this I do, but what I hate this I do.
16 А коли роблю́ те, чого я не хо́чу, то згоджуюсь із Законом, що він добрий,
If now that which not I do want this I do, I consent to the law that [it is] good;
17 а тому вже не я це виконую, але гріх, що живе в мені.
In that case now no longer no longer I myself am doing it but that which (is dwelling *NK+o) in me myself sin.
18 Знаю бо, що не живе в мені, цебто в тілі моїм, добре; бо бажа́ння лежить у мені, але щоб виконати добре, того не знахо́джу.
I know for that nothing dwells in me myself, That is in the flesh of mine, good; for to wish [to do] is present with me, but to do the good not (find. *K)
19 Бо не роблю́ я доброго, що хочу, але зле, чого не хочу, це чиню.
Not for that I desire I do good, but that not I do want evil this I practice.
20 Коли ж я роблю́ те, чого не хочу, то вже не я це виконую, але гріх, що живе в мені.
If now what not I do want (I myself *NK) this do, no longer no longer I myself who do it but that which is dwelling in me myself sin.
21 Тож знахо́джу зако́на, коли хочу робити добро, — що зло лежить у мені.
I find so the principle that which is desiring me myself to do good that me myself evil is present with.
22 Бо маю задово́лення в Законі Божому за вну́трішнім чолові́ком,
I delight for in the law of God according to the inward man,
23 та бачу інший зако́н у членах своїх, що воює проти закону мого розуму, і поло́нить мене законом гріховним, що знахо́диться в членах моїх.
I see however another law in the members of mine warring against the law of the mind of mine and making captive me (to *no) the law of sin which is being in the members of mine.
24 Нещасна я люди́на! Хто мене ви́зволить від тіла цієї смерти?
O wretched I myself [am] man! Who me will deliver out of the body of death this?
25 Дякую Богові через Ісуса Христа, Господа нашого. Тому́ то я сам служу́ розумом Законові Божому, але тілом — закону гріховному.
(Thanks [be] *N+KO) (then *no) to God through Jesus Christ the Lord of us! Then so myself I myself with the indeed mind serve law of God but [with] the flesh [the] law of sin.
