2 до коринтян 1
1 Павло, з волі Божої апо́стол Христа Ісуса, та брат Тимофій, до Божої Церкви в Коринті, з усіма́ святими в ці́лій Аха́ї, —
Paul, an apostle of Yahushua the Messiah by the will of YHWH, and Timothy our brother, unto the assembly of YHWH which is at Corinth, with all the saints which are in all Achaia:
2 благода́ть вам і мир від Бога Отця нашого й Господа Ісуса Христа!
Favour be to you and peace from YHWH our Father, and from the Master Yahushua the Messiah.
3 Благословенний Бог і Отець Господа нашого Ісуса Христа, Отець милосердя й Бог потіхи всілякої,
Blessed be YHWH, even the Father of our Master Yahushua the Messiah, the Father of mercies, and the Elohim of all comfort;
4 що в усякій скорбо́ті Він нас потішає, щоб змогли потішати й ми тих, що в усякій скорбо́ті знахо́дяться, тією потіхою, якою потішує Бог нас самих.
Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of Elohim.
5 Бо поскільки намно́жуються в нас терпіння Христові, — так через Христа й поті́шення наше намножується.
For as the sufferings of the Messiah abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by the Messiah.
6 Бо як те́рпимо скорбо́ти, то на вашу потіху й спасі́ння; коли потішаємось, то на вашу потіху в терпінні тих самих стражда́нь, які те́рпимо й ми.
And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.
7 А наша надія певна про вас, бо ми знаємо, що ви спільники як у терпіннях, так само і в потісі.
And our hope of you is stedfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation.
8 Бо не хочемо, браття, щоб не відали ви про нашу скорбо́ту, що в Азії трапилась нам, бо над міру й над силу були́ ми обтяжені, так що ми не наді́ялися навіть жити.
For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life:
9 Та самі ми в собі мали при́суд на смерть, щоб нам не покладати надії на себе, а на Бога, що воскрешує мертвих,
But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in YHWH which raiseth the dead:
10 що від смерти такої нас визволив і визволяє, і на Нього й поклада́ємося, що й ще визволить Він,
Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;
11 як поможете ра́зом і ви молитвою за нас, щоб за дар ласки, що нам виявлений багатьма́, багато-хто дяку складали за нас.
Ye also helping together by prayer for us, that for the gift bestowed upon us by the means of many persons thanks may be given by many on our behalf.
12 Бо це нам хвала́, — сві́дчення нашого сумління, що в святості й чистості Божій, не в тілесній мудрості, але в Божій благода́ті жили́ ми на світі, особливо ж у вас.
For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and purity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the favour of YHWH, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward.
13 Бо іншого вам ми не пишемо, тільки те, що читаєте та розумієте, а сподіва́юсь, що ви й до кінця зрозумієте,
For we write none other things unto you, than what ye read or acknowledge; and I trust ye shall acknowledge even to the end;
14 як части́нно нас ви й зрозуміли, що ми вам похвала́, як і ви нам, у день Господа нашого Ісуса.
As also ye have acknowledged us in part, that we are your rejoicing, even as ye also are ours in the day of the Master Yahushua.
15 І з певністю цією хотів я давніше прибути до вас, щоб мали ви благода́ть удру́ге,
And in this confidence I was minded to come unto you before, that ye might have a second benefit;
16 і через вас перейти в Македонію, а з Македонії зно́ву прибути до вас, а ви щоб в Юдею мене відпрова́дили.
And to pass by you into Macedonia, and to come again out of Macedonia unto you, and of you to be brought on my way toward Judaea.
17 Маючи за́дум такий, чи я чини́в легковажно? Чи те, що заду́мую, за тілом задумую, щоб було в мене і „Так, так“, і „Ні, ні?“
When I therefore was thus minded, did I use lightness? or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be yea yea, and nay nay?
18 Але вірний Бог, що наше слово до вас не було „Так“і „Ні“.
But as YHWH is true, our word toward you was not yea and nay.
19 Бо Син Божий Ісус Христос, що ми Його вам проповідували, я й Силуа́н, і Тимофій, не був „Так“і „Ні“, але в Нім було „Так“.
For the Son of YHWH, Yahushua the Messiah, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea.
20 Скільки бо Божих обі́тниць, то в Ньому „Так“, і в Ньому „Амінь“, — Богові на славу через нас.
For all the promises of YHWH in him are yea, and in him amein, unto the glory of YHWH by us.
21 А Той, Хто нас із вами в Христа утверджує, і Хто нас намасти́в, — то Бог,
Now he which stablisheth us with you in the Messiah, and hath anointed us, is YHWH;
22 Який і запечатав нас, і в наші серця дав завда́ток Духа.
Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
23 А я кличу Бога на свідка на душу мою, що я, щадячи́ вас, не прийшов у Кори́нт дотепе́р,
Moreover I call YHWH for a record upon my soul, that to spare you I came not as yet unto Corinth.
24 не тому́, ніби ми беремо́ вла́ду над вашою вірою, але вашої радости помічники ми, — бо ви всто́яли вірою!
Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand.
