1 до коринтян 5

1 Всюди чути, що між вами пере́люб, і то такий пере́люб, який і між поганами незна́ний, — що хтось має за дружи́ну собі дружину ба́тькову.

Fornication is commonly reported among you; and such fornication as is not heard among the Heathens, that the son should take the wife of his father.

2 І ви завелича́лися, а не засмутились радніш, щоб був вилучений з-поміж вас, хто цей учинок зробив.

And you are inflated; but should you not rather sit in grief that he who hath wrought this work might be put away from you?

3 Отож я, відсутній тілом, та присутній духом, уже розсудив, як присутній між вами: того, хто так учинив це,

But I, while distant from you in body, am near you in spirit, and now judge, as if near you, him who hath done this;

4 у Ім'я́ Господа Ісуса, як зберетеся ви та мій дух, із силою Господа нашого Ісуса, —

that in the name of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha all of you be assembled, and I with you in spirit, with the power of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha,

5 віддати такого сатані на погибіль тіла, щоб дух спасся Господнього дня!

and you deliver this (man) to Satana for the destruction of his body, that in spirit he may be saved in the day of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha.

6 Велича́ння ваше не добре. Хіба ви не знаєте, що мала ро́зчина все тісто заква́шує?

MY brethren, your boasting is not seemly. Know you not that a little leaven the whole mass leaveneth?

7 Отож, очистьте стару́ ро́зчину, щоб стати вам нови́м тістом, бо ви прісні́, бо наша Пасха, Христос, за нас у жертву прине́сений.

Purge from you the old leaven, that you may be a new mass; so that you may be (as) unleavened bread. For our Pascha is the Meshiha, who hath been slain for us.

8 Тому́ святкуймо не в давній ро́зчині, ані в ро́зчині злоби́ й лука́вства, але в опрі́сноках чистости та правди!

Therefore, let us perform the festival, not with the old leaven, nor with the leaven of wickedness and animosity, but with the unleavened bread of purity and of holiness.

9 Я писав вам у листі не єдна́тися з перелю́бниками, —

I have written to you by epistle, not to be mixed with fornicators;

10 але не взагалі з цьогосвітніми перелю́бниками, чи з користолю́бцями, чи з хижака́ми, чи з ідоля́нами, бо ви мусіли були б відійти від світу.

but I do not say with fornicators who are in this world, nor speak I concerning the covetous, or the rapacious, or the servers of idols; otherwise you would be obligated from the world also to go forth.

11 А тепер я писав вам не єднатися з тим, хто зветься братом, та є перелю́бник, чи користолю́бець, чи ідоля́нин, чи злоріка, чи п'яни́ця, чи хижа́к, — із такими навіть не їсти!

But this which I have written to you, Be not mixed, (is, ) If any one who is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or a worshipper of idols, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or rapacious, with one who is such as he not to eat bread.

12 Бо що ж мені судити й чужих? Чи ви не судите своїх?

For what had I to judge those who are without? But you judge those who are within;

13 А чужих судить Бог. Тож ви́лучіть лукавого з-поміж себе сами́х!

but those who are without, Aloha judgeth: and put away the wicked one from among you.
