1 до коринтян 2

1 А я, як прийшов до вас, браття, не прийшов вам звіщати про Боже свідо́цтво з добі́рною мовою або мудрістю,

And I brethren when I came to you came not in gloriousnes of wordes or of wysdome shewynge vnto you the testimony of God.

2 бо я наду́мавсь нічого між вами не знати, крім Ісуса Христа, і Того розп'я́того.

Nether shewed I my selfe that I knewe eny thinge amonge you save Iesus Christ eve the same that was crucified.

3 І я в вас був у немочі, і в страху́, і в великім тремті́нні.

And I was amoge you in weaknes and in feare and in moche treblinge.

4 І слово моє й моя проповідь — не в слова́х переко́нливих лю́дської мудрости, але́ в до́казі Духа та сили,

And my wordes and my preachinge were not with entysynge wordes of manes wysdome: but in shewinge of ye sprete and of power

5 щоб була́ віра ваша не в мудрості лю́дській, але в силі Божій!

that youre fayth shuld not stonde in ye wysdome of me but in yt power of God.

6 А ми гово́римо про мудрість між досконалими, але мудрість не віку цього, ані володарів цього віку, що гинуть, (aiōn g165)

That we speake of is wysdome amonge them that are perfecte: not the wysdome of this worlde nether of the rulars of this worlde (which go to nought) (aiōn g165)

7 але́ ми гово́римо Божу мудрість у таємниці, прихо́вану, яку Бог перед віками призна́чив нам на славу, (aiōn g165)

but we speake ye wysdome of God which is in secrete and lieth hyd which God ordeyned before the worlde vnto oure glory: (aiōn g165)

8 яку ніхто з володарів цього віку не пізнав; коли б бо пізнали були́, то не розп'яли́ б вони Господа слави! (aiōn g165)

which wysdome none of ye rulars of the worlde knewe. For had they knowe it they wolde not have crucified the Lorde of glory. (aiōn g165)

9 Але, як написано: „Чого око не бачило й вухо не чуло, і що на серце люди́ні не впало, те Бог приготува́в був тим, хто любить Його!“

But as it is written: The eye hath not sene and the eare hath not hearde nether have entred into the herte of man ye thinges which God hath prepared for them that love him.

10 А нам Бог відкрив це Своїм Духом, — усе бо досліджує Дух, навіть Божі глиби́ни.

But God hath opened them vnto vs by his sprete. For ye sprete searcheth all thinges ye the bottome of Goddes secretes.

11 Хто бо з людей знає речі лю́дські, окрім лю́дського духа, що в нім проживає? Так само не знає ніхто й речей Божих, окрім Духа Божого.

For what man knoweth the thinges of a ma: save ye sprete of a man which is with in him? Even so ye thinges of God knoweth no man but ye sprete of god.

12 А ми прийняли́ духа не світу, але Духа, що з Бога, щоб знати про речі, від Бога даро́вані нам,

And we have not receaved the sprete of ye worlde: but the sprete which cometh of god for to knowe the thinges that are geve to vs of god

13 що й говоримо не ви́вченими словами лю́дської мудрости, але ви́вченими від Духа Святого, порі́внюючи духовне до духовного.

which thinges also we speake not in the conynge wordes of manes wysdome but with the conynge wordes of the holy goost makynge spretuall coparesons of spretuall thinges.

14 А люди́на тіле́сна не приймає речей, що від Божого Духа, бо їй це глупо́та, і вона зрозуміти їх не може, бо вони розуміються тільки духовно.

For ye naturall man perceaveth not the thinges of the sprete of god. For they are but folysshnes vnto him. Nether can he perceave them because he is spretually examined.

15 Духовна ж люди́на су́дить усе, а її судити не може ніхто.

But he that is spretuall discusseth all thinges: yet he him selfe is iudged of no ma.

16 Бо „хто розум Господній пізнав, який би його міг навчати?“А ми маємо розум Христів!

For who knoweth the mynde of the Lorde other who shall informe him? But we vnderstonde the mynde of Christ.
