Юда 1
1 Юда, слуга Ісуса Христа, брат же Яковів, - покликаним, од Бога Отця осьвяченним, а Ісусом Христом охороненим:
Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ and a brother of James, to those who are called and sanctified by God the Father, and kept for Jesus Christ:
2 милость вам і впокій і любов нехай умножить ся.
Mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you.
3 Любі, стараючись з усією пильностю писати вам про спільне спасеннє, вважав я за конечне написати вам, вговорюючи, щоб боролись за віру, сьвятим раз передану.
Beloved, although I was quite eager to write to you about our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints.
4 Повлазили бо деякі люде, давно призначені на сей суд, безбожні, що благодать Бога нашого обертають на розпусту, і самого Владики Бога і Господа нашого Ісуса Христа одрікають ся.
For certain men whose condemnation was written about long ago have crept in unnoticed. They are ungodly men who pervert the grace of our God, turning it into a license for sensuality. By doing so, they deny God, who is our only Master, and also the Lord Jesus Christ.
5 Приганути ж хочу вам, котрі загально се знаєте, що Господь, хоч спас нарід із землі Єгипецької, то опісля погубив тих, що не вірували.
Now I want to remind you, although you already know this, that after the Lord saved a people out of the land of Egypt, he subsequently destroyed those who did not believe.
6 І ангелів, що не схоронили свого начальства, оставивших свої оселї, про суд великого дня вічнїми оковами під темрявою схоронив. (aïdios g126)
And the angels who did not keep within their proper domain, but left their own dwelling, he has kept under darkness in everlasting chains for the judgment of the great day. (aïdios g126)
7 Як Содома і Гоморра, і городи кругом них, що, подібно їм, жили в перелюбі і ходили в слїд за иншим тїлом, принявши кару вічнього огня, виставлені яко приклад; (aiōnios g166)
Likewise, Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them, who indulged in fornication and went after strange flesh in a manner similar to those angels, serve as an example by undergoing the punishment of eternal fire. (aiōnios g166)
8 так і сї сновиди опоганюють тіло, начальством же гордують, а на власть хулять.
In the same way these ungodly men, relying on their dreams, defile the flesh, reject authority, and revile glorious beings.
9 Михаіл же Архангел, коли, змагаючись з дияволом, говорив про Мойсейове тіло, не поважив ся піднести проти нього суду докоряючого, а сказав: Нехай Господь загрозить тобі:
But when Michael the archangel was contending with the devil and disputing about the body of Moses, he did not dare to bring a reviling judgment against him, but said, “May the Lord rebuke yoʋ!”
10 Сї ж, чого не розуміють, хулять; що ж по природі, як безсловесні зьвірі, розуміють, у сьому поганять себе.
Yet these men slander whatever they do not understand, and they are corrupted by what they, like irrational beasts, instinctively comprehend.
11 Горе їм, бо пійшли вони дорогою Каіна, попались в обману нагороди Валаама, і погибли в бунті як Корей.
Woe to them! For they went in the way of Cain, they rushed for reward to the error of Balaam, and they perished in the rebellion of Korah.
12 Се погань (на вечерях) милостині вашої, що живлять ся з вами без страху, і пасуть ся; хмари безводні, од вітрів ношені; дерева осїнні, безовочні, двичі умерші, викорінені;
These men are hidden reefs at your love feasts, feeding themselves as they feast among you without fear. They are clouds without water, carried along by winds; fruitless trees in late autumn, twice dead and uprooted.
13 люті Филї морські, що пінять ся своїм соромом, блукаючі звізди, котрим чорна темрява на віки хоронить ся. (aiōn g165)
They are wild waves of the sea, foaming out their own shameful deeds; wayward stars, for whom the thick gloom of darkness has been reserved forever. (aiōn g165)
14 Пророкував же про сих і семий від Адама, Енох, глаголючи: "Ось, ійде Господь із тисячами сьвятих своїх,
Enoch, in the seventh generation from Adam, prophesied about these men, saying, “Behold, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones
15 зробити суд над усіма, і докорити між ними усіх безбожних, за всї діла безбожностї їх, що безбожно накоїли, і за всї жорстокості, що говорили проти Нього грішники безбожні."
to execute judgment against all and to convict all the ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds that they have done in an ungodly way, and to convict ungodly sinners of all the harsh words they have spoken against him.”
16 Се миркачі, докорителї, що ходять по хотїнню своєму; і уста їх говорять гордо, і поважають лиця задля користи.
These men are grumblers and complainers, walking according to their own lusts. They speak bombastic words with their mouths, admiring people for their own advantage.
17 Ви ж, любі, згадуйте слова, проречені від апостолів Господа нашого Ісуса Христа;
But you, beloved, must remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold,
18 бо вони казали вам, що останнього часу будуть ругателї, що ходять по хотїнню свого безбожя.
how they said to you, “In the end times there will be scoffers who walk according to their own ungodly lusts.”
19 Се ті, що відлучають ся (від єдности віри, ) тілесні, що не мають Духа.
These people cause divisions; they are worldly and do not have the Spirit.
20 Ви ж, любі, найсьвятїшою вашою вірою будуйте ся, і в Духові сьвятому молїть ся,
But you, beloved, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit,
21 і себе в любові Божій хороніть, дожидаючи милости Господа нашого Ісуса Христа до життя вічнього. (aiōnios g166)
must keep yourselves in the love of God as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
22 Також инших милуйте, розсуджуючи;
Have mercy on some, using discernment;
23 инших же страхом спасайте, вихоплюючи з огня, ненавидячи ще й одежу, од тїла опоганену.
and others save with fear by snatching them out of the fire, hating even the garment that is stained by the flesh.
24 Тому ж, що може вас оберегати без спотикання, і поставити перед славою своєю непорочних в радості,
Now to him who is able to keep them from falling and to make them stand unblemished in the presence of his glory with great joy,
