2 Івана 1
1 Старець - вибраній панї і дїтям її, котрих я істино люблю (і не я тільки, а також усї, що пізнали правду),
THE ELDER to the elect Lady, and her children, whom I loue in the trueth: and not I onely, but also all that haue knowen the trueth,
For the trueths sake which dwelleth in vs, and shalbe with vs for euer: (aiōn g165)
3 Нехай буде з вами благодать, милость, впокій від Бога Отця, і від Господа Ісуса Христа, Сина Отцївського, в правдї і любові.
Grace be with you, mercie and peace from God the Father, and from the Lord Iesus Christ the Sonne of the Father, with trueth and loue.
4 Вельми я зрадував ся, що знайшов дїтей твоїх, ходячих в правдї, яко ж заповідь прийняли ми від Отця.
I reioyced greatly, that I founde of thy children walking in trueth, as we haue receiued a commandement of the Father.
5 І тепер прошу тебе, панї, не яко нову заповідь пишу тобі, а котру мали ми від почину, щоб любили один одного.
And nowe beseeche I thee, Lady, (not as writing a newe commandement vnto thee, but that same which we had from the beginning) that we loue one another.
6 І се любов, щоб ми ходили по заповідям Його. Се заповідь, яко ж ви чули від почину, щоб у нїй ходили.
And this is that loue, that we should walke after his commandements. This commandement is, that as ye haue heard from the beginning, ye should walke in it.
7 Бо многі зводителї увійшли у сьвіт, котрі не визнають Ісуса Христа, що прийшов у тїлї; а такий зводитель і антихрист.
For many deceiuers are entred into this worlde, which confesse not that Iesus Christ is come in the flesh. He that is such one, is a deceiuer and an Antichrist.
8 Глядїть на себе, щоб не згубити нам, що заробили, а щоб нагороду повну прийняли.
Looke to your selues, that we lose not the things which we haue done, but that we may receiue full reward.
9 Кожен, хто переступає, а не пробуває в науці Христовій, не має Бога; хто пробуває в науці Христовій, сей має і Отця і Сина.
Whosoeuer transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that continueth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Sonne.
10 Коли хто приходить до вас, і сієї науки не приносить, не приймайте того у хату, і не витайте його;
If there come any vnto you, and bring not this doctrine, receiue him not to house, neither bid him, God speede:
11 хто бо його витає, бере участь в дїлах його лихих.
For he that biddeth him, God speede, is partaker of his euill deedes.
12 Маючи много вам писати, не схотів на папері і чорнилом, а надїюсь прийти до вас, і устами з вами говорити, щоб благодать ваша була повна.
Although I had many things to write vnto you, yet I woulde not write with paper and ynke: but I trust to come vnto you, and speake mouth to mouth, that our ioy may be full.
13 Витають тебе дїти сестри твоєї вибраної. Амінь.
The sonnes of thine elect sister greete thee, Amen.
