Від Івана 7
1 Після цього Ісус ходив по Галілеї. В Юдею Він не йшов, адже юдеї хотіли вбити Його.
After these things, Yeshua [Salvation] was walking in Galilee [District, Circuit], for he would not walk in Judea [Praise], because the Jews [Praisers] sought to kill him.
2 Коли наближалося юдейське свято Кущів,
Now the festival of Sukkot ·Tabernacles·, the Festival of Booths, was at hand. (The seventh month 15th day).
3 брати [Ісуса] сказали Йому: ―Іди звідси в Юдею, щоб і Твої учні побачили діла, які Ти робиш.
His brothers therefore said to him, “Depart from here, and go into Judea [Praise], that your disciples also may see your works which you do.
4 Адже ніхто не робить своїх вчинків таємно, якщо шукає визнання. Якщо Ти робиш це, покажи Себе світові!
For no one does anything in secret, and himself seeks to be known openly. If you do these things, reveal yourself to the world.”
5 Бо навіть Його брати не вірили в Нього.
For even his brothers didn’t believe in him.
6 Тоді Ісус сказав їм: ―Мій час ще не настав, але для вас час завжди готовий.
Yeshua [Salvation] therefore said to them, “My time has not yet come, but your time is always ready.
7 Світ не може ненавидіти вас, Мене ж ненавидить, бо Я свідчу про те, що його діла лихі.
The world can’t hate you, but it hates me, because I testify about it, that its works are evil.
8 Ви йдіть на свято; Я ж [поки] не піду на це свято, бо Мій час ще не настав.
You go up to the feast. I am not yet going up to this feast, because my time is not yet fulfilled.”
9 Сказавши це, Ісус залишився в Галілеї.
Having said these things to them, he stayed in Galilee [District, Circuit].
10 Та коли Його брати пішли на свято, Він теж пішов, але не відкрито, а таємно.
But when his brothers had gone up to the feast, then he also went up, not publicly, but as it were in secret.
11 На святі юдеї шукали Його й казали: «Де Він?»
The Jews [Praisers] therefore sought him at the feast, and said, “Where is he?”
12 У народі було багато чуток про Ісуса. Деякі казали, що Він хороший, а інші – що Він обманює людей.
There was much murmuring among the multitudes concerning him. Some said, “He is a good man.” Others said, “Not so, but he leads the multitude astray.”
13 Однак відкрито ніхто про Нього не говорив через страх перед юдеями.
Yet no one spoke openly of him for fear of the Jews [Praisers].
14 Перша частина свята вже пройшла, коли Ісус прийшов у Храм і почав навчати.
But when it was now the middle of the feast, Yeshua [Salvation] went up into the temple and taught.
15 Юдеї дивувались та казали: ―Звідки Він стільки знає, адже ніколи не навчався?
The Jews [Praisers] therefore marveled, saying, “How does this man know so much, without having studied?”
16 Ісус відповів їм: ―Те, чого Я навчаю, не від Мене, а від Того, Хто надіслав Мене.
Yeshua [Salvation] therefore answered them, “My teaching is not mine, but his who sent me.
17 Якщо хтось хоче чинити волю Божу, то дізнається: від Бога Моє вчення чи Я говорю від Себе.
If anyone desires to do his will, he will know about the teaching, whether it is from God, or if I am speaking from myself.
18 Хто говорить від Себе, той шукає славу самому собі, а Хто шукає славу Тому, Хто послав Його, той правдивий, і немає в ньому неправди.
He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory, but he who seeks the glory of him who sent him is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.
19 Хіба Мойсей не дав вам Закон? Однак ніхто з вас не дотримується Закону. Чому ви хочете вбити Мене?
Didn’t Moses [Drawn out] give you the Torah ·Teaching·? Yet none of you keeps the law! Why do you seek to kill me?”
20 Натовп відповів: ―Ти одержимий демоном! Хто хоче Тебе вбити?
The multitude answered, “You have a demon! Who seeks to kill you?”
21 Ісус сказав їм у відповідь: ―Я вчинив одне чудо, і ви всі дивуєтеся.
Yeshua [Salvation] answered them, “I did one work, and you all marvel because of it.
22 Мойсей дав вам обрізання (хоча обрізання не від Мойсея, а від праотців), і ви обрізаєте дітей у Суботу.
Moses [Drawn out] has given you circumcision (not that it is of Moses [Drawn out], but of the fathers), and on the Sabbath ·To cease· you circumcise a boy.
23 Якщо чоловік може бути обрізаний у Суботу, щоб не був порушений Закон Мойсея, то чому ви гніваєтесь на Мене за те, що Я повністю зцілив чоловіка в Суботу?
If a boy receives circumcision on the Sabbath ·To cease·, that the Torah ·Teaching· of Moses [Drawn out] may not be broken, are you angry with me, because I made a man completely healthy on the Sabbath ·To cease·?
24 Не судіть із вигляду, а судіть справедливим судом.
Don’t judge according to appearance, but judge upright judgment.”
25 Тоді деякі мешканці Єрусалима почали запитувати: ―Чи це не Той, Кого вони хочуть вбити?
Therefore some of them of Jerusalem [City of peace] said, “Is not this he whom they seek to kill?
26 Ось Він говорить прямо, і ніхто Йому нічого не каже. Можливо, керівники справді дізналися, що Він Христос?
Behold, he speaks openly, and they say nothing to him. Can it be that the rulers indeed know that this is truly the Messiah [Anointed one]?
27 Але ми знаємо, звідки Він, а коли прийде Христос, то ніхто не буде знати, звідки Він.
However we know where this man comes from, but when the Messiah [Anointed one] comes, no one will know where he comes from.”
28 Тоді Ісус, навчаючи в Храмі, голосно сказав: ―Ви Мене знаєте? І навіть знаєте, звідки Я? Адже Я не прийшов від Себе. Той, Хто послав Мене, правдивий, але ви Його не знаєте.
Yeshua [Salvation] therefore cried out in the temple, teaching and saying, “You both know me, and know where I am from. I have not come of myself, but he who sent me is true, whom you don’t know.
29 Я Його знаю, бо Я від Нього, і Він Мене послав.
I know him, because I am from him, and he sent me.”
30 Вони намагалися схопити Ісуса, але ніхто не наклав на Нього рук, тому що Його час ще не настав.
They sought therefore to take him; but no one laid a hand on him, because his hour had not yet come.
31 Багато людей з натовпу увірували в Нього й казали: ―Хіба коли прийде Христос, то зробить ще більші знамення, ніж зробив Цей [Чоловік]?
But of the multitude, many believed in him. They said, “When the Messiah [Anointed one] comes, he won’t do more signs than those which this man has done, will he?”
32 Чутки про Нього дійшли до фарисеїв, тож вони та первосвященники послали слуг, щоб схопити Його.
The Pharisees [Separated] heard the multitude murmuring these things concerning him, and the chief priests and the Pharisees [Separated] sent officers to arrest him.
33 Ісус сказав їм: ―Ще трохи часу буду з вами та повернуся до Того, Хто послав Мене.
Then Yeshua [Salvation] said, “I will be with you a little while longer, then I go to him who sent me.
34 Ви будете шукати Мене, але не знайдете. І туди, де Я буду, ви не зможете прийти.
You will seek me, and won’t find me; and where I am, you can’t come.”
35 Тоді юдеї казали між собою: ―Куди це Він збирається піти, що ми не знайдемо Його? Може, Він збирається піти до розсіяних серед греків і навчати греків?
The Jews [Praisers] therefore said among themselves, “Where will this man go that we won’t find him? Will he go to the Dispersion among the Greeks, and teach the Greeks?
36 Що то за слово, яке Він сказав: «Ви будете шукати Мене, але не знайдете» і «Туди, де Я буду, ви не зможете прийти»?
What is this word that he said, ‘You will seek me, and won’t find me; and where I am, you can’t come’?”
37 В останній та головний день свята Ісус піднявся та голосно промовив: ―Якщо хтось хоче пити, нехай приходить до Мене і п’є!
Now on the last day of the festival (of Tabernacles, the seventh day called Hoshana Rabbah ·Save now Great·, the seventh month 21st day), Yeshua [Salvation] stood and cried out, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink!
38 Хто вірить у Мене, як каже Писання, у того з серця потечуть ріки живої води.
Whoever puts his trust in me, as the Scripture says, rivers of living water will flow from his inmost being!”
39 Це Він казав про Духа, Якого мали прийняти ті, хто повірив у Нього. Адже Дух ще не був дарований, бо Ісус ще не був прославлений.
But he said this about the Spirit, which those trusting in him were to receive. For the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Yeshua [Salvation] was not yet glorified.
40 Декотрі люди з натовпу, почувши слова Ісуса, сказали: ―Він дійсно Пророк!
Many of the multitude therefore, when they heard these words, said, “This is truly the prophet.”
41 Інші казали: ―Він – Христос! А ще інші казали: ―Хіба Христос прийде з Галілеї?
Others said, “This is the Messiah [Anointed one].” But some said, “What, does the Messiah [Anointed one] come out of Galilee [District, Circuit]?
42 Чи Писання не каже, що Христос прийде з роду Давида, з Віфлеєма, із села, звідки був Давид?
Has not the Scripture said that the Messiah [Anointed one] comes of the offspring of David [Beloved], and from Bethlehem [House of Bread], the village where David [Beloved] lived?”
43 Тож через Нього сталося в народі розділення.
So there arose a division in the multitude because of him.
44 Дехто з них хотів схопити Його, але ніхто не наклав на Нього рук.
Some of them would have arrested him, but no one laid hands on him.
45 Коли слуги повернулися до фарисеїв та первосвященників, ті запитали їх: ―Чому ви не привели Його?
The officers therefore came to the chief priests and Pharisees [Separated], and they said to them, “Why didn’t you bring him?”
46 Слуги відповіли: ―Ще ніхто не говорив так, як Цей Чоловік!
The officers answered, “No man ever spoke like this man!”
47 Фарисеї запитали: ―Невже Він вас обманув?
The Pharisees [Separated] therefore answered them, “You are not also led astray, are you?
48 Хіба хоч хтось із керівників або фарисеїв повірив у Нього?
Have any of the rulers believed in him, or of the Pharisees [Separated]?
49 А народ, який не знає Закону, – проклятий!
True, these 'am-ha'aretz ·people of the land· do, but they know nothing about the Torah ·Teaching·, they are under a curse!”
50 Никодим, який був одним із них і раніше приходив до Ісуса, сказав:
Nicodemus [Victory people] (he who came to him by night, being one of them) said to them,
51 ―Хіба наш Закон засуджує людину, не вислухавши її спочатку й не дізнавшись, що вона робить?
“Our Torah ·Teaching· does not condemn a man, does it, until after hearing from him personally and finding out what he’s doing?”
52 Вони відповіли: ―Ти теж із Галілеї? Досліди [Писання] й побачиш, що Пророк не приходить із Галілеї.
They answered him, “Are you also from Galilee [District, Circuit]? Search, and see that no prophet has arisen out of Galilee [District, Circuit].”
53 І розійшлися кожен до свого дому.
Everyone went to his own house.
