< Luka 17 >

1 Ɛda bi Yesu ka kyerɛɛ nʼasuafoɔ no sɛ, “Ɛyɛ dɛn ara a sɔhwɛ a ɛde onipa kɔ bɔne mu no bɛba, nanso onipa a ɛnam ne so bɛba no, ɔnnue.
He said to the disciples, “It is impossible that no occasions of stumbling should come, but woe to him through whom they come!
2 Ɛyɛ ma saa onipa no sɛ wɔde ɛboɔ a emu yɛ duru bi bɛsɛn ne kɔn mu ato no atwene ɛpo mu sene sɛ ɔbɛto nkumaa yi mu baako suntidua ama wayɛ bɔne.
It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, rather than that he should cause one of these little ones to stumble.
3 Enti, monhwɛ mo ho so yie. “Sɛ wo nua fom wo a, ka nʼanim na sɛ ɔnu ne ho a, fa ne bɔne kyɛ no.
Be careful. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him. If he repents, forgive him.
4 Sɛ nso ɔfom wo mprɛnson da koro na mpɛn dodoɔ a ɔfom wo no nyinaa, ɔde ahonu srɛ wo a, fa kyɛ no.”
If he sins against you seven times in the day, and seven times returns, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.”
5 Ɛda bi, asomafoɔ no ka kyerɛɛ Yesu sɛ, “Awurade, hyɛ yɛn gyidie mu den.”
The emissaries said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.”
6 Yesu buaa wɔn sɛ, “Sɛ mowɔ gyidie te sɛ onyina aba a, anka mobɛtumi aka akyerɛ akyee yi sɛ, ‘Tutu kɔgu ɛpo mu,’ na ɛbɛba mu saa.
The Lord said, “If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you would tell this sycamore tree, ‘Be uprooted and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.
7 “Mo mu hwan na ɔwɔ ɔsomfoɔ a ɔyɛ nʼafuom adwuma anaasɛ ɔhwɛ ne mmoa na ɔfiri afuom ba a, ɔbɛka akyerɛ no sɛ, ‘Wʼaduane si hɔ na kɔdidi?’
But who is there amongst you, having a servant ploughing or keeping sheep, that will say when he comes in from the field, ‘Come immediately and sit down at the table’?
8 Na mmom ɔrenka nkyerɛ no sɛ, ‘Noa aduane ma me na sɛ modidi wie a, wo nso woakɔdidi?’
Wouldn’t he rather tell him, ‘Prepare my supper, clothe yourself properly, and serve me while I eat and drink. Afterward you shall eat and drink’?
9 Sɛ ɔsomfoɔ yi yɛ nʼasɛdeɛ yi a, ne wura no bɛda no ase anaa?
Does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded? I think not.
10 Saa ara nso na sɛ mo nso moyɛ mo asɛdeɛ a, ɛsɛ sɛ moka sɛ, ‘Yɛyɛ asomfoɔ a ayɛyie mfata yɛn, yɛn asɛdeɛ a ɛsɛ sɛ yɛyɛ na yɛayɛ no.’”
Even so you also, when you have done all the things that are commanded you, say, ‘We are unworthy servants. We have done our duty.’”
11 Ɛberɛ bi a Yesu rekɔ Yerusalem no, ɔfaa Samaria ne Galilea hyeɛ so.
As he was on his way to Jerusalem, he was passing along the borders of Samaria and Galilee.
12 Ɔrebɛn akuraa bi ase no, akwatafoɔ edu bi a na wɔgyinagyina kurotia no hunuu no
As he entered into a certain village, ten men who were lepers met him, who stood at a distance.
13 teateaam sɛ, “Yesu, yɛn wura, hunu yɛn mmɔbɔ.”
They lifted up their voices, saying, “Yeshua, Master, have mercy on us!”
14 Yesu hunuu wɔn no, ɔka kyerɛɛ wɔn sɛ, “Momfa mo ho nkɔkyerɛ ɔsɔfoɔ!” Ɛberɛ a akwatafoɔ no rekɔ no, wɔn ho yɛɛ wɔn den.
When he saw them, he said to them, “Go and show yourselves to the priests.” As they went, they were cleansed.
15 Wɔn mu baako hunuu sɛ ne ho ayɛ no den no, ɔsanee nʼakyi de ahurisie yii Onyankopɔn ayɛ sɛ, “Animuonyam nka Onyankopɔn, wama me ho ayɛ me den!”
One of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, glorifying God with a loud voice.
16 Ɔbɛkotoo Yesu anim daa no ase. Na saa ɔbarima yi yɛ Samariani.
He fell on his face at Yeshua’s feet, giving him thanks; and he was a Samaritan.
17 Yesu bisaa sɛ, “Ɛnyɛ nnipa edu na wɔn ho yɛɛ wɔn den? Baakron a wɔaka no wɔ he?
Yeshua answered, “Weren’t the ten cleansed? But where are the nine?
18 Adɛn enti na ɔmamfrani yi nko na wasane aba sɛ ɔrebɛyi Onyankopɔn ayɛ?”
Were there none found who returned to give glory to God, except this foreigner?”
19 Yesu ka kyerɛɛ no sɛ, “Sɔre kɔ, wo gyidie ama wo ho ayɛ wo den.”
Then he said to him, “Get up, and go your way. Your faith has healed you.”
Being asked by the Pharisees when God’s Kingdom would come, he answered them, “God’s Kingdom doesn’t come with observation;
21 na obi rentumi nkyerɛ mo sɛ, ‘Ɛwɔ ha anaa ɛhɔ!’ Ɛfiri sɛ, Onyankopɔn Ahennie no te mo mu.”
neither will they say, ‘Look, here!’ or, ‘Look, there!’ for behold, God’s Kingdom is within you.”
22 Na ɔka kyerɛɛ nʼasuafoɔ no sɛ, “Mmerɛ bi bɛba a mo ani bɛgyina sɛ mobɛhunu Onipa Ba no wɔ mo nkyɛn, nanso morenhunu no.
He said to the disciples, “The days will come when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it.
23 Sɛ nnipa ka kyerɛ mo sɛ mewɔ ha anaa baabi foforɔ a, monnni wɔn akyi.
They will tell you, ‘Look, here!’ or ‘Look, there!’ Don’t go away or follow after them,
24 Sɛdeɛ anyinam pa ogya wɔ ewiem ma nnipa nyinaa hunu no, saa ara nso na Onipa Ba no ba a ɔbɛsane aba no bɛyɛ.
for as the lightning, when it flashes out of one part under the sky, shines to another part under the sky, so will the Son of Man be in his day.
25 Nanso, ansa na yeinom nyinaa bɛba mu no, ɛsɛ sɛ mehunu amane na me nkurɔfoɔ nso po me.
But first, he must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.
26 “Sɛdeɛ Noa ɛberɛ so nnipa yɛɛ asoɔden no, saa ara nso na sɛ Onipa Ba no ba a, ɛbɛyɛ no no.
As it was in the days of Noah, even so it will also be in the days of the Son of Man.
27 Saa ɛberɛ no, nnipa didi nomee, warewaree kɔsii sɛ Noa kɔhyɛɛ ɛhyɛn no mu na nsuyire bɛfaa saa nnipa no nyinaa.
They ate, they drank, they married, and they were given in marriage until the day that Noah entered into the ship, and the flood came and destroyed them all.
28 “Saa ara nso na Lot berɛ so no, na ɛte. Nnipa didi nomee, dii dwa, yɛɛ mfuo, sisii adan,
Likewise, even as it was in the days of Lot: they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built;
29 kɔsii sɛ Lot firii Sodom na ogya ne sɔfe firi ɔsoro bɛhyee saa nnipa no nyinaa.
but in the day that Lot went out from Sodom, it rained fire and sulphur from the sky and destroyed them all.
30 “Saa ara nso na da a Onipa Ba no bɛsane aba no, ɛbɛyɛ.
It will be the same way in the day that the Son of Man is revealed.
31 Saa ɛda no, ɛnsɛ sɛ obiara a ɔwɔ adwuma mu, afuo mu anaa edwa so sane nʼakyi ba efie sɛ ɔrebɛsesa nʼahodeɛ.
In that day, he who will be on the housetop and his goods in the house, let him not go down to take them away. Let him who is in the field likewise not turn back.
32 Monkae asɛm a ɛtoo Lot yere.
Remember Lot’s wife!
33 Obiara a ɔdɔ ne ɔkra no, ɛbɛfiri ne nsa. Na deɛ ɔbɛhwere ne ɔkra no, bɛnya.
Whoever seeks to save his life loses it, but whoever loses his life preserves it.
34 Ɛda no, wɔbɛfa nnipa baanu a wɔda faako no mu baako agya ɔbaako.
I tell you, in that night there will be two people in one bed. One will be taken and the other will be left.
35 Saa ara nso na wɔbɛfa mmaa baanu a wɔrenoa aduane no mu baako agya ɔbaako.
There will be two grinding grain together. One will be taken and the other will be left.”
36 Mmarima baanu a wɔreyɛ adwuma wɔ afuom no nso, wɔbɛfa ɔbaako agya ɔbaako.”
37 Asuafoɔ no bisaa Yesu sɛ, “Awurade, ɛhe na wɔde wɔn bɛkɔ?” Yesu buaa wɔn sɛ, “Baabi a efunu wɔ no, apete mpa hɔ!”
They, answering, asked him, “Where, Lord?” He said to them, “Where the body is, there the vultures will also be gathered together.”
