< Yesaia 29 >

1 Due wo Ariel, Ariel, kuropɔn a Dawid tenaa mu! Kɔ so ara di wo mfirinhyia mu afahyɛ ahodoɔ no.
Woe to Ariel! Ariel, the city where David encamped! Add year to year; let the feasts come around;
2 Nanso, mɛbɔ wo ho nsraban; wobɛdi awerɛhoɔ na wato kwadwom, wobɛyɛ sɛ afɔrebukyia so ogya.
then I will distress Ariel, and there will be mourning and lamentation. She shall be to me as an altar hearth.
3 Mede dɔm bɛtwa wo ho ahyia; mɛsisi abantenten atwa wo ho ahyia na afei mahyɛ otua dwumadie no ase atia wo.
I will encamp against you all around you, and will lay siege against you with posted troops. I will raise siege works against you.
4 Wɔsie wo wie a, wobɛkasa afiri asase mu; mfuturo mu na wo kasa bɛfiri aba. Wo nne bɛfiri asase no mu aba te sɛ ɔsaman deɛ; wo kasa bɛfiri mfuturo mu aba sɛ asomsɛmka.
You will be brought down, and will speak out of the ground. Your speech will mumble out of the dust. Your voice will be as of one who has a familiar spirit, out of the ground, and your speech will whisper out of the dust.
5 Nanso wʼatamfoɔ bebrebe no bɛyɛ sɛ mfuturo muhumuhu, na atirimuɔdenfoɔ bebrebe no ayɛ sɛ ntɛtɛ a mframa abɔ. Ɛbɛba prɛko pɛ, amonom hɔ ara.
But the multitude of your foes will be like fine dust, and the multitude of the ruthless ones like chaff that blows away. Yes, it will be in an instant, suddenly.
6 Asafo Awurade bɛba. Ɔde aprannaa ne asasewosoɔ ne hooyɛ kɛseɛ, mframaden ne ahum ne ogyaframa a ɛhye adeɛ bɛba.
She will be visited by Yahweh of Armies with thunder, with earthquake, with great noise, with whirlwind and storm, and with the flame of a devouring fire.
7 Afei amanaman bebrebe a wɔtu Ariel so sa nyinaa, wɔn a wɔto hyɛ ɔne nʼaban so na wotua no no, ɛbɛyɛ wɔn sɛ adaeɛso, anaa anadwo mu anisoadehunu.
The multitude of all the nations that fight against Ariel, even all who fight against her and her stronghold, and who distress her, will be like a dream, a vision of the night.
8 Sɛdeɛ obi a ɛkɔm de no so daeɛ sɛ ɔredidi, na sɛ ɔnyane a ɔte sɛ ɛkɔm de no; sɛdeɛ obi a osukɔm de no so daeɛ sɛ ɔrenom nsuo, nanso ɔnyane a na watɔ piti, na osukɔm de no ara no, saa ara na ɛbɛyɛ ama amanaman dodoɔ a wɔko tia Bepɔ Sion no.
It will be like when a hungry man dreams, and behold, he eats; but he awakes, and his hunger isn’t satisfied; or like when a thirsty man dreams, and behold, he drinks; but he awakes, and behold, he is faint, and he is still thirsty. The multitude of all the nations that fight against Mount Zion will be like that.
9 Mo ho nnwiri mo na ɛnyɛ mo nwanwa, mo ani mfira a monhunu adeɛ; mommoboro a ɛmfiri nsã, montotɔ ntentan a ɛmfiri nsaden.
Pause and wonder! Blind yourselves and be blind! They are drunken, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink.
10 Awurade de nnahɔɔ ato mo so: Wakata mo ani (adiyifoɔ no); wakata mo tiri so (adehufoɔ no).
For Yahweh has poured out on you a spirit of deep sleep, and has closed your eyes, the prophets; and he has covered your heads, the seers.
11 Mo deɛ saa anisoadehunu yi nyinaa nka hwee mma mo, ɛte sɛ nsɛm a wɔasɔ ano wɔ nwoma mmobɔeɛ mu. Sɛ mode nwoma mmobɔeɛ no ma obi a ɔtumi kenkan, na moka kyerɛ no sɛ, “Mesrɛ wo kenkan yei” a, ɔbɛbua sɛ, “Merentumi, ɛfiri sɛ wɔasɔ ano.”
All vision has become to you like the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one who is educated, saying, “Read this, please;” and he says, “I can’t, for it is sealed;”
12 Sɛ nso, mode nwoma mmobɔeɛ no ma deɛ ɔnnim akenkan, na moka kyerɛ no sɛ, “Mesrɛ wo kenkan yei” a, ɔbɛbua sɛ, “Mennim akenkan.”
and the book is delivered to one who is not educated, saying, “Read this, please;” and he says, “I can’t read.”
13 Awurade ka sɛ, “Saa nnipa yi de ano hunu twi bɛn me na wɔde wɔn anofafa hyɛ me animuonyam, nanso wɔn akoma mmɛn me. Som a wɔsom me no yɛ mmara a nnipa akyerɛ wɔn no nko ara.
The Lord said, “Because this people draws near with their mouth and honors me with their lips, but they have removed their heart far from me, and their fear of me is a commandment of men which has been taught;
14 Enti mɛma nnipa yi ho adwiri wɔn bio. Mede anwanwadeɛ ntoatoasoɔ bɛyɛ; mɛsɛe anyansafoɔ nyansa, na mɛma nimdefoɔ adenim ayɛ ɔkwa.”
therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvelous work among this people, even a marvelous work and a wonder; and the wisdom of their wise men will perish, and the understanding of their prudent men will be hidden.”
15 Wɔnnue, wɔn a wɔyɛ biribiara sɛ wɔde wɔn atirimpɔ bɛhinta Awurade, wɔn a wɔyɛ wɔn nnwuma wɔ sum ase na wɔsusu sɛ, “Hwan na ɔhunu yɛn? Hwan na ɔbɛte aseɛ?”
Woe to those who deeply hide their counsel from Yahweh, and whose deeds are in the dark, and who say, “Who sees us?” and “Who knows us?”
16 Mosisi nneɛma tiri ase. Modwene sɛ ɔnwomfoɔ no mmom ne dɔteɛ no! Deɛ wayɛ bɛtumi aka akyerɛ deɛ ɔyɛeɛ sɛ, “Wo na woyɛɛ me anaa”? Kukuo bɛtumi aka afa ɔnwomfoɔ ho sɛ “Ɔnnim hwee anaa”?
You turn things upside down! Should the potter be thought to be like clay, that the thing made should say about him who made it, “He didn’t make me;” or the thing formed say of him who formed it, “He has no understanding”?
17 Ɛrenkyɛre koraa, Lebanon bɛdane ayɛ asase bereɛ na asase bereɛ no nso adane ayɛ sɛ kwaeɛ.
Isn’t it yet a very little while, and Lebanon will be turned into a fruitful field, and the fruitful field will be regarded as a forest?
18 Saa ɛda no, ɔsotifoɔ bɛte nsɛm a ɛwɔ nwoma mmobɔeɛ no mu na kusuuyɛ ne esum mu mpo onifirani ani bɛhunu adeɛ.
In that day, the deaf will hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind will see out of obscurity and out of darkness.
19 Ahobrɛasefoɔ bɛdi ahurisie wɔ Awurade mu bio; ahiafoɔ ho bɛsɛpɛ wɔn wɔ Israel Ɔkronkronni no mu.
The humble also will increase their joy in Yahweh, and the poor among men will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.
20 Atutupɛfoɔ bɛyera, wɔrenhunu fɛdifoɔ bio, na wɔn a wɔdwene bɔne nyinaa wɔbɛtwa wɔn agu.
For the ruthless is brought to nothing, and the scoffer ceases, and all those who are alert to do evil are cut off—
21 Wɔn a wɔka asɛm ma obi di fɔ, wɔn a wɔsum deɛ ɔreyi ne ho ano afidie wɔ asɛnniiɛ na wɔdi adansekurumu ma wɔbu deɛ ɔdi bem no fɔ no nso, wɔbɛtwa wɔn agu.
who cause a person to be indicted by a word, and lay a snare for one who reproves in the gate, and who deprive the innocent of justice with false testimony.
22 Enti sei na Awurade a ɔgyee Abraham nkwa no ka kyerɛ Yakob fiefoɔ: Yakob anim renguase bio; wɔn anim rento hoa bio.
Therefore Yahweh, who redeemed Abraham, says concerning the house of Jacob: “Jacob shall no longer be ashamed, neither shall his face grow pale.
23 Sɛ wɔhunu wɔn mma wɔ wɔn mu, wɔn a wɔyɛ me nsa ano adwuma no a, wɔbɛyɛ me din no kronkron; wɔbɛgye Yakob ɔkronkronni no kronkronyɛ ato mu, na wɔde fɛreɛ agyina Israel Onyankopɔn no anim.
But when he sees his children, the work of my hands, in the middle of him, they will sanctify my name. Yes, they will sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and will stand in awe of the God of Israel.
24 Wɔn a wɔfom kwan wɔ honhom mu bɛnya nteaseɛ; wɔn a wɔnwiinwii nso, wɔbɛgye nkyerɛkyerɛ atom.
They also who err in spirit will come to understanding, and those who grumble will receive instruction.”
