< Mateo 9 >

1 Eyi akyi no, Yesu kɔtenaa ɔkorow bi mu kɔɔ Kapernaum, kurow a ɔte mu no mu.
And he got into a boat and went across and came to his town.
2 Oduu hɔ no, ankyɛ biara na nnipa bi de obubuafo bi brɛɛ no sɛ ɔnsa no yare. Na Yesu huu gyidi a wɔwɔ wɔ ne mu no, ɔka kyerɛɛ obubuafo no se, “Ɔba, ma wʼani nnye, wɔde wo bɔne nyinaa akyɛ wo.”
And they took to him a man stretched on a bed who had no power of moving; and Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the man who was ill, Son, take heart; you have forgiveness for your sins.
3 Ɛhɔ ara na Kyerɛwsɛm no akyerɛkyerɛfo a na wɔwɔ hɔ no bi teɛɛ mu se, “Ɔbarima yi ka abususɛm. Ɔkyerɛ sɛ ɔyɛ Onyankopɔn!”
And some of the scribes said among themselves, This man has no respect for God.
4 Yesu huu nea ɛwɔ wɔn adwene mu no, obisaa wɔn se, “Adɛn nti na modwene bɔne wɔ mo koma mu saa?
And Jesus, having knowledge of what was in their minds, said, Why are your thoughts evil?
5 Me Onipa Ba no, mewɔ tumi wɔ asase yi so sɛ mede bɔne kyɛ. Nea ɛwɔ he na ɛyɛ den, sɛ obi bɛka se, ‘Mede wo bɔne akyɛ wo’ anaasɛ ɔbɛka se, ‘Sɔre na nantew?’”
For which is the simpler, to say, You have forgiveness for your sins; or to say, Get up and go?
6 Nanso sɛnea ɛbɛyɛ na mubehu sɛ Onipa Ba no wɔ tumi sɛ ɔde bɔne kyɛ nti. Ɔka kyerɛɛ obubuafo no se, “Sɔre na bobɔw wo kɛtɛ, na kɔ fie efisɛ masa wo yare.”
But so that you may see that on earth the Son of man has authority for the forgiveness of sins, (then said he to the man who was ill, ) Get up, and take up your bed, and go to your house.
7 Amono mu hɔ ara, obubuafo no sɔre bobɔw ne kɛtɛ, sii mu kɔɔ ne fi!
And he got up and went away to his house.
8 Nnipadɔm no huu anwonwade yi no, wɔn ho dwiriw wɔn yiye. Wɔkamfoo Onyankopɔn sɛ ɔde tumi a ɛte saa ama onipa.
But when the people saw it they were full of fear, and gave glory to God who had given such authority to men.
9 Yesu fi nea ɔsaa obubuafo no yare hɔ rekɔ no, ohuu ɔbarima towgyeni bi a ɔte atowgyei. Wɔfrɛ saa ɔbarima no Mateo. Yesu huu no no, ɔka kyerɛɛ no se, “Bedi mʼakyi.” Ɛhɔ ara, Mateo sɔre dii Yesu akyi.
And when Jesus was going from there, he saw a man whose name was Matthew, seated at the place where taxes were taken; and he said to him, Come after me. And he got up and went after him.
10 Ɛbae sɛ Yesu ne nʼasuafo no kɔɔ Mateo fi kodidii. Wɔredidi no, towgyefo ne nnebɔneyɛfo bebree baa hɔ ne no ne nʼasuafo no too nsa didii.
And it came about, when he was in the house taking food, that a number of tax-farmers and sinners came and took their places with Jesus and his disciples.
11 Farisifo no huu sɛ ɔne nnebɔneyɛfo ato nsa redidi no, anyɛ wɔn dɛ. Wobisaa nʼasuafo no se, “Adɛn nti na mo kyerɛkyerɛfo no de ne ho abɔ nnebɔneyɛfo a wɔte sɛɛ yi?”
And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to his disciples, Why does your Master take food with tax-farmers and sinners?
12 Yesu tee no, obuaa wɔn se, “Nnipa a wɔnyare no, ɔyaresafo ho nhia wɔn, na nnipa a wɔyare no na ɔyaresafo ho hia wɔn.”
But on hearing this he said, Those who are well have no need of a medical man, but those who are ill.
13 Ɔsan kaa bio se, “Monkɔhwehwɛ eyi ase wɔ Kyerɛw Kronkron no mu. Wɔakyerɛw se, ‘Ɛnyɛ mo afɔre ne ayɛyɛde na mepɛ, na mmom ahummɔbɔ.’ Mammɛfrɛ atreneefo, na mmom, mebɛfrɛɛ nnebɔneyɛfo sɛ wɔnsakra mmra Onyankopɔn nkyɛn.”
But go and take to heart the sense of these words, My desire is for mercy, not offerings: for I have come not to get the upright, but sinners.
14 Da bi Osuboni Yohane asuafo baa Yesu nkyɛn bebisaa no se, “Adɛn nti na wʼasuafo no nni mmuada, sɛnea yɛne Farisifo di mmuada no?”
Then the disciples of John came to him, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees frequently go without food, but your disciples do not?
15 Yesu buaa wɔn se, “Mugye di sɛ, sɛ ayeforokunu ne ne nnamfonom te hɔ a, ɛsɛ sɛ ne nnamfonom no werɛ how, na wobua da ana? Bere bi bɛba a wɔbɛfa me afi wɔn nkyɛn. Saa bere no na wobedi mmuada.
And Jesus said to them, Will the friends of the newly-married man be sad as long as he is with them? But the days will come when he will be taken away from them, and then will they go without food.
16 “Hena na ɔde ntama foforo bɛtare ntama dedaw mu? Saa ntaremu no besunsuan dedaw no mu ama tokuru kɛse abɛda hɔ.
And no man puts a bit of new cloth on an old coat, for by pulling away from the old, it makes a worse hole.
17 Hena na ɔde nsa foforo begu aboa nhoma nsa nkotoku dedaw mu? Sɛ ɔyɛ saa a, nsa no bɛpae nkotoku no ama nsa no ahwie agu, na nkotoku no nso asɛe. Nsa nkotoku foforomu nko ara na ɛsɛ sɛ wɔde nsa foforo gugu na amma nkotoku no ne nsa no mu biara ansɛe.”
And men do not put new wine into old wine-skins; or the skins will be burst and the wine will come out, and the skins are of no more use: but they put new wine into new wine-skins, and so the two will be safe.
18 Yesu gu so rekasa no, Yudafo panyin bi ba bɛkotow, sɔree no. Ɔde nʼadesrɛ too Yesu anim se, “Me babea awu mprempren ara. Minim sɛ, sɛ woba de wo nsa bɛka no pɛ a, obenyan.”
While he was saying these things to them, there came a ruler and gave him worship, saying, My daughter is even now dead; but come and put your hand on her, and she will come back to life.
19 Yesu ne nʼasuafo no ne ɔpanyin no sii mu sɛ wɔrekɔ ɔpanyin no fi.
And Jesus got up and went after him, and so did his disciples.
20 Wɔrekɔ no, ɔbea bi a mogya atu no mfirihyia dumien faa nʼakyi, soo nʼatade ano.
And a woman, who for twelve years had had a flow of blood, came after him, and put her hand on the edge of his robe:
21 Ɔkaa wɔ ne tirim se, “Sɛ mede me nsa ka no nko ara a, me ho bɛyɛ me den.”
Because, she said to herself, if I may but put my hand on his robe, I will be made well.
22 Yesu dan nʼani ka kyerɛɛ no se, “Ɔbabea, ma wo bo ntɔ wo yam. Wo gyidi agye wo. Wo ho atɔ wo.” Efi saa bere no mu no, ne ho tɔɔ no.
But Jesus, turning and seeing her, said, Daughter, take heart; your faith has made you well. And the woman was made well from that hour.
23 Yesu duu ɔpanyin no fi hɔ a ohuu sɛ nkurɔfo no bi resu na ebinom reto ayiase nnwom no,
And when Jesus came into the ruler's house and saw the players with their instruments and the people making a noise,
24 ɔkae se, “Obiara mfi adi. Ababaa no nwui. Wada!” Yesu asɛm a ɔkae yi maa nnipa no serew no.
He said, Make room; for the girl is not dead, but sleeping. And they were laughing at him.
25 Nnipa no nyinaa fii adi no, Yesu kɔɔ faako a ababaa no da hɔ no. Osoo ne nsa. Prɛko pɛ, ababaa no nyanee.
But when the people were sent out, he went in and took her by the hand; and the girl got up.
26 Saa anwonwade a Yesu yɛe yi trɛw wɔ mpɔtam hɔ nyinaa.
And the news of it went out into all that land.
27 Yesu fi nea onyan ababaa no hɔ rekɔ no, anifuraefo baanu bi dii nʼakyi teɛteɛɛ mu se, “Dawid ba, hu yɛn mmɔbɔ!”
And when Jesus went on from there, two blind men came after him, crying out, Have mercy on us, you Son of David.
28 Yesu duu fie no, anifuraefo no baa ne nkyɛn. Yesu bisaa wɔn se, “Mugye di sɛ metumi ama moahu ade?” Wobuaa no se, “Yiw, Awurade, yegye di!”
And when he had come into the house, the blind men came to him; and Jesus said to them, Have you faith that I am able to do this? They said to him, Yes, Lord.
29 Yesu de ne nsa kaa wɔn ani kae se, “Mo gyidi nyɛ nea mohwehwɛ mma mo!”
Then he put his hand on their eyes, saying, As your faith is, let it be done to you.
30 Amono mu hɔ ara na wɔn ani buebuei. Yesu bɔɔ wɔn ano se, “Monnka saa ayaresa yi ho asɛm nkyerɛ obiara.”
And their eyes were made open. And Jesus said to them sharply, Let no man have knowledge of it.
31 Nanso nnipa no fii hɔ pɛ na wɔbɔɔ asɛm no dawuru.
But they went out and gave news of him in all that land.
32 Yesu ne nʼasuafo refi adi no, wɔde mum bi a honhommɔne wɔ ne so brɛɛ no.
And while they were going away, there came to him a man without the power of talking, and with an evil spirit.
33 Yesu tuu honhommɔne no na prɛko pɛ, mum no kasae. Saa honhommɔnetu yi yɛɛ nnipa a wɔwɔ hɔ no nyinaa nwonwa ma wɔkae se, “Yenhuu saa anwonwade yi bi da wɔ Israelman mu ha!”
And when the evil spirit had been sent out, the man had the power of talking: and they were all surprised, saying, Such a thing has never been seen in Israel.
34 Farisifo no de, wɔkae se, “Ɔbonsam de honhommɔne ahyɛ no ma nti na otumi tu ahonhommɔne no.”
But the Pharisees said, By the ruler of evil spirits, he sends evil spirits out of men.
35 Yesu kyinkyinii nkurow so ne nkuraa ase kaa Onyankopɔn Ahenni no ho asɛmpa wɔ wɔn hyiadan mu. Baabiara a ɔkɔe no, ɔkaa asɛmpa no saa nyarewa ahorow bebree.
And Jesus went about all the towns and small places, teaching in their Synagogues and preaching the good news of the kingdom and making well all sorts of disease and pain.
36 Bere a Yesu huu nnipadɔm no, ne yam hyehyee no maa wɔn efisɛ ohuu sɛ ɔhaw ahorow gu wɔn so a, wonhu nea wɔnyɛ ne nea wɔmfa a wobenya mmoa nso. Wɔte sɛ nguan a wonni ɔhwɛfo.
But when he saw all the people he was moved with pity for them, because they were troubled and wandering like sheep without a keeper.
37 Ɛha na Yesu ka kyerɛɛ nʼasuafo no se, “Otwa adwuma no dɔɔso, nanso adwumayɛfo no sua.
Then he said to his disciples, There is much grain but not enough men to get it in.
38 Enti monsrɛ adwumawura no na ɔmma adwumayɛfo bebree mmra ne twa adwuma no mu.”
Make prayer, then, to the Lord of the grain-fields, that he may send out workers to get in his grain.
