Marko 16
1 Ade kyee a Homeda no twaa mu no, Maria Magdalene ne Salome ne Yakobo na Maria kɔtɔɔ nnuhuam se wɔde rekɔ akɔsra Yesu amu no.
When the Sabbath was over, Mary of Magdala, Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices, in order to come and anoint His body.
2 Da a edi nnaawɔtwe no kan anɔpahema no, ansa na owia bepue no, wɔde nnuhuam no baa ɔda no so.
So, very soon after sunrise on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb;
3 Wɔnam ɔkwan so rekɔ no, na wɔredwene nea ɛbɛyɛ a wobepirew ɔbo no afi ɔda no ano no ho.
and they were saying to one another, 'Who will roll away the stone for us from the entrance to the tomb?"
4 Nanso wɔreyɛ adu hɔ no, wɔmaa wɔn ani so hui sɛ, obi apirew ɔbo kɛse no afi ɔda no ano.
But then, looking up, they saw that the stone was already rolled back: for it was of immense size.
5 Wɔkɔɔ ɔda no mu kohuu aberante bi sɛ ɔhyɛ atade fitaa te nifa so hɔ. Wohuu no no, wɔbɔɔ piriw.
Upon entering the tomb, they saw a young man sitting at their right hand, clothed in a long white robe. They were astonished and terrified.
6 Nanso aberante no ka kyerɛɛ wɔn se, “Munnsuro. Ɛnyɛ Nasareni Yesu a wɔbɔɔ no asennua mu no na morehwehwɛ no no? Onni ha! Wasɔre! Monhwɛ faako a wɔde no too hɔ!
But he said to them, "Do not be terrified. It is Jesus you are looking for--the Nazarene who has been crucified. He has come back to life: He is not here: this is the place where they laid Him.
7 Afei monkɔ na monkɔka eyi nkyerɛ nʼasuafo no ne Petro se, ‘Yesu redi mo anim akɔ Galilea. Ɛhɔ na mubehu no, sɛnea ɔka kyerɛɛ mo ansa na ɔrewu no!’”
But go and tell His disciples and Peter that He is going before you into Galilee: and that there you will see Him, as He told you."

So they came out, and fled from the tomb, for they were greatly agitated and surprised; and they said not a word to any one, for they were afraid.
9 (note: The most reliable and earliest manuscripts do not include Mark 16:9-20.) Kwasida anɔpa na Yesu sɔre fii awufo mu. Onipa a oyii ne ho adi kyerɛɛ no kan ne Maria Magdalene, ɔbea a otuu ahonhommɔne ason fii ne mu no.
(note: The most reliable and earliest manuscripts do not include Mark 16:9-20.) [But He rose to life early on the first day of the week, and appeared first to Mary of Magdala from whom He had expelled seven demons.
10 Maria Magdalene kɔɔ asuafo no nkyɛn kohuu wɔn sɛ wɔn werɛ ahow, na wɔresu.
She went and brought the tidings to those who had been with Him, as they were mourning and weeping.
11 Ɔka kyerɛɛ wɔn se, wahu Yesu na ɔte ase. Nanso wɔannye no anni.
But they, when they were told that He was alive and that she had seen Him, could not believe it.
12 Akyiri no, Yesu yii ne ho adi kyerɛɛ wɔn mu baanu a wɔnam fi Yerusalem rekɔ akuraa, nanso wohuu no no, mfiase no, wɔantumi anhu sɛ ɛyɛ ɔno, efisɛ na wasakra.
Afterwards He showed Himself in another form to two of them as they were walking, on their way into the country.
13 Akyiri no a wohuu onipa ko a ɔyɛ no, wotuu mmirika san baa Yerusalem, bɛka kyerɛɛ nkae no, nanso obiara annye wɔn anni.
These, again, went and told the news to the rest; but not even them did they believe.
14 Akyiri no a asuafo dubaako no te adidii no, oyii ne ho adi kyerɛɛ wɔn. Ɔkaa wɔn anim wɔ gyidi a wonni ne gye a wɔannye wɔn a wɔbɛkaa sɛ wasɔre no anni no ho.
Later still He showed Himself to the Eleven themselves whilst they were at table, and He upbraided them with their unbelief and obstinacy in not having believed those who had seen Him alive.
15 Afei ɔka kyerɛɛ wɔn se, “Monkɔ wiase nyinaa nkɔka asɛmpa no nkyerɛ nnipa nyinaa.
Then He said to them, "Go the whole world over, and proclaim the Good News to all mankind.
16 Na obiara a ogye di na wɔbɔ no asu no, wobegye no nkwa. Na obiara a onnye nni no, wobebu no fɔ.
He who believes and is baptized shall be saved, but he who disbelieves will be condemned.
17 Saa nsɛnkyerɛnne yi bedi wɔn a wogye me di no akyi. Wɔde me din betu ahonhommɔne, na wɔakasa kasa foforo.
And signs shall attend those who believe, even such as these. By making use of my name they shall expel demons. They shall speak new languages.
18 Wobeso awɔ mu, na sɛ wɔnom awuduru bi mpo a, ɛrenyɛ wɔn hwee; wɔde wɔn nsa begu ayarefo so, ama wɔn ho ayɛ wɔn den.”
They shall take up venomous snakes, and if they drink any deadly poison it shall do them no harm whatever. They shall lay their hands on the sick, and the sick shall recover."
19 Awurade Yesu ne wɔn kasa wiee akyi no, wɔfaa no kɔɔ ɔsoro na ɔkɔtenaa Onyankopɔn nsa nifa so.
So the Lord Jesus after having thus spoken to them was taken up into Heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.
20 Eyi akyi no, asuafo no kɔkaa asɛm no wɔ baabiara, na Awurade kaa wɔn ho ma wɔyɛɛ nsɛnkyerɛnne ne anwonwade ahorow nso, de hyɛɛ wɔn nsɛm a wɔkae no mu den.
But they went out and made proclamation everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming their Message by the signs which accompanied it.]
