1 Salomo dii hene no, ne mfe aduonu so na owiee Awurade Asɔredansi dwumadi kɛse ne nʼankasa ahemfi no si.
It happened at the end of twenty years, in which Solomon had built the house of Jehovah, and his own house,
2 Afei, Salomo de nʼadwene kɔɔ nkurow a ɔhene Huram de ama no no so. Osiesiee nkurow no, na ɔmaa Israelfo no kɔtenatenaa mu.
that the cities which Hiram had given to Solomon, Solomon built them, and caused the children of Israel to dwell there.
3 Saa bere no ara mu nso na Salomo ko tiaa kurow Hamat-Soba, dii so nkonim.
Solomon went to Hamath Zobah, and prevailed against it.
4 Ɔkyekyeree Tadmor bio wɔ sare so, na ɔkyekyeree nkurow wɔ Hamat mantam mu a ɛhɔ na na wɔkora nneɛma.
He built Tadmor in the wilderness, and all the storage cities, which he built in Hamath.
5 Ɔbɔɔ nkuropɔn a na ɛwɔ atifi Bet-Horon ne anafo Bet-Horon no ho ban. Ɔsan too wɔn afasu no, de apon a wɔbram akyi totoo ano.
Also he built Upper Beth Horon, and Lower Beth Horon, fortified cities, with walls, gates, and bars;
and Baalath, and all the storage cities that Solomon had, and all the cities for his chariots, and the cities for his horsemen, and all that Solomon desired to build for his pleasure in Jerusalem, and in Lebanon, and in all the land of his dominion.
7 Ebesi saa bere no, na nnipa bi tete asase no so a wɔnyɛ Israelfo. Na saa nnipa no yɛ Hetifo, Amorifo, Perisifo, Hewifo ne Yebusifo.
As for all the people who were left of the Hethites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, who were not of Israel;
8 Eyinom yɛ aman a Israel ntɔre wɔn ase korakora no asefo. Ɛno nti, Salomo hyɛɛ wɔn ma wɔyɛɛ adwuma maa no. Na ebesi nnɛ, wɔsom sɛ apaafo.
of their descendants who were left after them in the land, whom the children of Israel did not destroy, of them Solomon conscripted for slave labor to this day.
9 Nanso Salomo anhyɛ Israelni biara amma wanyɛ adwuma sɛ ɔpaani. Mmom, ɔmaa ebinom kɔyɛɛ asraafo, mpanyimfo wɔ nʼakofo so ne ne nteaseɛnam ne nʼapɔnkɔkafo so asahene.
But of the children of Israel, Solomon made no slaves for his work; but they were men of war, and his commanders, and his captains, and rulers of his chariots and of his horsemen.
10 Ɔhene Salomo yii wɔn mu ahannu aduonum ma wɔkɔhwɛɛ ne nkɔsodwuma so.
These were the chief officers of king Solomon: five hundred fifty, who ruled over the people.
11 Salomo yii ne yere a ɔyɛ Farao babea fii Dawid kurow mu, de no kɔɔ ahemfi foforo a wasi ama no no mu. Ɔkae se, “Ɛnsɛ sɛ me yere tena Ɔhene Dawid ahemfi, efisɛ na Awurade Apam Adaka no si hɔ, enti ɛhɔ yɛ asase kronkron.”
Solomon brought up the daughter of Pharaoh out of the City of David to the house that he had built for her; for he said, "My wife shall not dwell in the house of David king of Israel, because the places where the ark of Jehovah has come are holy."
12 Na Salomo bɔɔ ɔhyew afɔre wɔ afɔremuka a wasi wɔ Asɔredan no ntwironoo no anim no so, maa Awurade.
Then Solomon offered burnt offerings to Jehovah on the altar of Jehovah, which he had built before the porch,
13 Da biara, wɔbɔɔ afɔre sɛnea Mose de maa wɔn no. Afahyɛ ahorow a wodii no bi ne Homeda, Ɔsram Foforo Da, ne mfirihyia abiɛsa biara afahyɛ no mu a, ɛyɛ Twam Afahyɛ, Otwabere Afahyɛ ne Asese Afahyɛ.
even as the duty of every day required, offering according to the commandment of Moses, on the Sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the set feasts, three times in the year, in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tents.
14 Salomo de asɔfo no nnwuma rehyɛ wɔn nsa no, ɔfaa nʼagya Dawid akwankyerɛ so. Saa ara na ɔmaa Lewifo no dii ɔmanfo no anim too ayeyi nnwom, na wɔboaa asɔfo no wɔ wɔn daa daa nnwuma mu. Ɔde apon ano ahwɛfo akuwakuw no sisii wɔn apon ano sɛnea Dawid, Onyankopɔn nipa no kyerɛɛ wɔn no.
He appointed, according to the ordinance of David his father, the divisions of the priests to their service, and the Levites to their offices, to praise, and to minister before the priests, as the duty of every day required; the doorkeepers also by their divisions at every gate: for so had David the man of God commanded.
15 Salomo amman amfi akwankyerɛ a Dawid mae a ɛfa asɔfo, Lewifo ne sikakorabea ho.
They did not depart from the commandment of the king to the priests and Levites concerning any matter, or concerning the treasures.
16 Na Salomo hwɛɛ biribiara a ɛfa Awurade Asɔredan no si so fi da a wotwaa ne fapem, kosi da a wɔde wiee si no.
Now all the work of Solomon was carried out from the day of the foundation of the house of Jehovah, until it was finished. So the house of Jehovah was completed.
17 Akyiri no, Salomo kɔɔ Esion-Geber ne Elot a ɛyɛ ahyɛngyinabea a ɛwɔ Edom asase a ɛda Po Kɔkɔɔ mpoano hɔ no.
Then went Solomon to Ezion Geber, and to Eilat, on the seashore in the land of Edom.
18 Huram brɛɛ no ahyɛn a ɔno ankasa mpanyimfo hwɛ so; na emu adwumayɛfo no nim adwuma yiye. Salomo nkurɔfo ne saa ahyɛn yi kɔɔ Ofir asase so, na wɔde sikakɔkɔɔ a na ɛkari bɛyɛ tɔn dunson brɛɛ Salomo.
And Hiram sent him ships and servants who had knowledge of the sea by the hands of his servants; and they came with the servants of Solomon to Ophir, and fetched from there four hundred fifty talents of gold, and brought them to king Solomon.
