Vahiy 3
1 “Sart'taki kilisenin meleğine yaz. Tanrı'nın yedi ruhuna ve yedi yıldıza sahip olan şöyle diyor: ‘Yaptıklarını biliyorum. Yaşıyorsun diye ad yapmışsın, ama ölüsün.
And to the agent of the congregation in Sardis write, These things says he who has the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars: I know thy works, that thou have a name that thou live, and thou are dead.
2 Uyan! Geriye kalan ve ölmek üzere olan ne varsa güçlendir. Çünkü yaptıklarının Tanrım'ın önünde tamamlanmamış olduğunu gördüm.
Become thou watchful, and strengthen the remaining things that thou were going to throw away, for I have not found thy works made complete before my God.
3 Bu nedenle neler aldığını, neler işittiğini anımsa. Bunları yerine getir, tövbe et! Eğer uyanmazsan, hırsız gibi geleceğim. Hangi saatte geleceğimi hiç bilemeyeceksin.
Remember therefore how thou have received and heard, and be on guard, and repent. If therefore thou will not watch, I will come upon thee as a thief, and thou will, no, not know what hour I will come upon thee.
4 Ama Sart'ta, aranızda giysilerini lekelememiş birkaç kişi var ki, beyazlar içinde benimle birlikte yürüyecekler. Çünkü buna layıktırlar.
But thou have a few names in Sardis who did not defile their garments. And they will walk with me in white, because they are worthy.
5 Galip gelen böylece beyaz giysiler giyecek. Onun adını yaşam kitabından hiç silmeyeceğim. Babam'ın ve meleklerinin önünde o kişinin adını açıkça anacağım.
He who overcomes, this man will be clothed in white garments, and I will, no, not erase his name out of the book of life. And I will acknowledge his name before my Father, and before his agents.
6 Kulağı olan, Ruh'un kiliselere ne dediğini işitsin.’”
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the congregations.
7 “Filadelfya'daki kilisenin meleğine yaz. Kutsal ve gerçek olan, Davut'un anahtarına sahip olan, açtığını kimsenin kapayamadığı, kapadığını kimsenin açamadığı kişi şöyle diyor:
And to the agent of the congregation in Philadelphia write, These things says the Holy, the True, he who has the key of David, who opens, and none will shut it except he who opens, and none will open:
8 ‘Yaptıklarını biliyorum. İşte önüne kimsenin kapayamayacağı açık bir kapı koydum. Gücünün az olduğunu biliyorum; yine de sözüme uydun, adımı yadsımadın.
I know thy works. Behold, I have given before thee an opened door that none is able to shut it, because thou have little power, and thou keep my word, and did not deny my name.
9 Bak, Şeytan'ın havrasından olanları, Yahudi olmadıkları halde Yahudi olduklarını ileri süren yalancıları öyle edeceğim ki, gelip ayaklarına kapanacak, benim seni sevdiğimi anlayacaklar.
Behold, I give of the synagogue of Satan, those who say themselves to be Jews, and are not, but lie, behold, I will make them so that they will come and bow down before thy feet, and may know that I have loved thee.
10 Sözüme uyarak sabırla dayandın. Ben de yeryüzünde yaşayanları denemek için bütün dünyanın üzerine gelecek olan denenme saatinden seni esirgeyeceğim.
Because thou keep the word of my perseverance, I also will keep thee from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole inhabited world, to try those who dwell upon the earth.
11 Tez geliyorum. Tacını kimse elinden almasın diye sahip olduğuna sımsıkı sarıl.
I come quickly, hold firm what thou have, so that none may take thy crown.
12 Galip geleni Tanrım'ın Tapınağı'nda sütun yapacağım. Böyle biri artık oradan hiç ayrılmayacak. Onun üzerine Tanrım'ın adını, Tanrım'a ait kentin –gökten Tanrım'ın yanından inen yeni Yeruşalim'in– adını ve benim yeni adımı yazacağım.
He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God, and he will, no, not go out any more. And I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem (it comes down out of the heaven from my God), and my new name.

14 “Laodikya'daki kilisenin meleğine yaz. Amin, sadık ve gerçek tanık, Tanrı yaratılışının kaynağı şöyle diyor:
And to the agent of the congregation in Laodicea write, These things says the Truly, the faithful and true witness, the primacy of the creation of God:
15 ‘Yaptıklarını biliyorum. Ne soğuksun, ne sıcak. Keşke ya soğuk ya sıcak olsaydın!
I know thy works, that thou are neither cold nor hot. O that thou were cold or hot.
16 Oysa ne sıcak ne soğuksun, ılıksın. Bu yüzden seni ağzımdan kusacağım.
So because thou are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I am going to spew thee out of my mouth.
17 Zenginim, zenginleştim, hiçbir şeye gereksinmem yok diyorsun; ama zavallı, acınacak durumda, yoksul, kör ve çıplak olduğunu bilmiyorsun.
Because thou say, I am rich, and have become wealthy, and have need of nothing, and do not know that thou are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked.
18 Zengin olmak için benden ateşte arıtılmış altın, giyinip çıplaklığının ayıbını örtmek için beyaz giysiler, görmek için gözlerine sürmek üzere merhem satın almanı salık veriyorum.
I counsel thee to buy from me gold refined from fire, so that thou may become wealthy, and white garments, so that thou may clothe thyself, and the shame of thy nakedness may not be made known, and eye-salve, so that thou may anoint thine eyes, so that thou may see.
19 Ben sevdiklerimi azarlayıp terbiye ederim. Onun için gayrete gel, tövbe et.
As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Be zealous therefore, and repent.
20 İşte kapıda durmuş, kapıyı çalıyorum. Biri sesimi işitir ve kapıyı açarsa, onun yanına gireceğim; ben onunla, o da benimle, birlikte yemek yiyeceğiz.
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If any man hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with me.
21 Ben nasıl galip gelerek Babam'la birlikte Babam'ın tahtına oturdumsa, galip gelene de benimle birlikte tahtıma oturma hakkını vereceğim.
He who overcomes, I will give him to sit with me in my throne, as I also overcame, and sat down with my Father in his throne.
22 Kulağı olan, Ruh'un kiliselere ne dediğini işitsin.’”
