Nehemya 3

1 Başkâhin Elyaşiv ile öbür kâhinler işe koyulup Koyun Kapısı'nı onardılar, kapı kanatlarını kutsayıp yerine taktılar. Hammea Kulesi'ne ve Hananel Kulesi'ne kadar surları kutsadılar.

Then arose Eliashib the high priest and his brethren the priests, and built the sheep-gate, they, hallowed it, and set up the doors thereof, —even unto the tower of Hammeah, hallowed they it, unto the tower of Hananel;

2 Bitişik bölümü Erihalılar, onun yanındakini de İmri oğlu Zakkur onardı.

and, at his hand, built, the men of Jericho, —and at his [other] hand built Zaccur, son of Imri.

3 Balık Kapısı'nı Senaalılar onardı. Kirişleri yerleştirip kapı kanatlarını yerine koydular, sürgülerle kapı kollarını taktılar.

And, the fish-gate, did the sons of Hassenaah build, —they, laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof;

4 Bitişik bölümü Hakkos oğlu Uriya oğlu Meremot onardı. Onun yanındakini Meşezavel oğlu Berekya oğlu Meşullam onardı. Onun yanındakini Baana oğlu Sadok onardı.

and, at their hand, repaired, Meremoth son of Uriah son of Hakkoz, and, at their hand, repaired, Meshullum son of Berechiah son of Meshezabel, —and, at their hand, repaired, Zadok son of Baana;

5 Onun yanındakini Tekoalılar onardı; ama soylular efendilerinin buyurduğu işlere el atmadılar.

and, at their hand, repaired, the Tekoites, —but, their chiefs, put not their neck into the service of their lords.

6 Eski Kapı'yı Paseah oğlu Yoyada ile Besodya oğlu Meşullam onardı. Kirişleri yerleştirip kapı kanatlarını yerine koydular, sürgülerle kapı kollarını taktılar.

And, the old gate, did Joiada son of Paseah, and Meshullam, son of Besodeiah, repair, —they, laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, and the locks thereof, and the bars thereof;

7 Bitişik bölümü Givonlu Melatya, Meronotlu Yadon ve Fırat'ın batı yakasındaki bölge valisinin yönetiminde yaşayan Givonlular'la Mispalılar onardı.

and, at their hand, repaired, Melatiah the Gibeonite and Jadon the Meronothite, men of Gibeon and of Mizpah, —who pertained to the throne of the pasha Beyond the River;

8 Onların yanındakini kuyumculardan biri olan Harhaya oğlu Uzziel onardı. Onun yanındakini baharatçı Hananya onardı. Yeruşalim surlarını Geniş Duvar'a kadar onardılar.

at his hand, repaired, Uzziel son of Harhaiah, goldsmiths, and, at his hand, repaired Hananiah son of the perfumers, —and they fortified Jerusalem, as far as the broad wall;

9 Onların yanındaki bölümü Yeruşalim'in yarısını yöneten Hur oğlu Refaya onardı.

and, at their hand, repaired, Rephaiah son of Hur, ruler of a half-circuit of Jerusalem;

and, at their hand, repaired, Jedaiah son of Harumaph, even over against his own house, —and, at his hand, repaired, Hattush, son of Hashabneiah;

11 Harim oğlu Malkiya ile Pahat-Moav oğlu Haşşuv başka bir bölümü ve Fırınlar Kulesi'ni onardılar.

a second length, did Malchijah son of Harim and Hasshub son of Pahath-moab, repair, —also the tower of the ovens;

12 Onların yanındaki bölümü Yeruşalim'in öbür yarısını yöneten Halloheş oğlu Şallum kızlarıyla birlikte onardı.

and, at his hand, repaired, Shallum son of Hallohesh, ruler of a half-circuit of Jerusalem, —he and his daughters.

13 Dere Kapısı'nı Hanun ve Zanoah'ta yaşayanlar onardı. Kapı kanatlarını yerlerine yerleştirip sürgülerle kapı kollarını taktılar. Ayrıca Gübre Kapısı'na kadar uzanan surlarda bin arşınlık yer onardılar.

The valley-gate, did Hanun and the inhabitants of Zanoah, repair, —they, built it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, —also a thousand cubits in the wall, as far as the dung-gate.

14 Gübre Kapısı'nı Beythakkerem bölgesini yöneten Rekav oğlu Malkiya onardı. Kapı kanatlarını yerine yerleştirip sürgülerle kapı kollarını taktılar.

And, the dung-gate, did Malchijah son of Rechab, ruler of the circuit of Beth-haccherem, repair, —he, built it, and set up the doors thereof, he locks thereof, and the bars thereof.

15 Pınar Kapısı'nı Mispa bölgesini yöneten Kol-Hoze oğlu Şallun onardı. Üzerini bir saçakla kapadı. Kapı kanatlarını yerine yerleştirip sürgülerle kapı kollarını taktı. Kral Bahçesi'nin yanındaki Şelah Havuzu'nun duvarını Davut Kenti'nden inen merdivenlere kadar onardı.

And, the fountain-gate, did Shallun son of Col-hozeh ruler of the circuit of Mizpah, repair, he, built it, and covered it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, —also the wall of the pool of Shelah, by the garden of the king, even as far as the stairs that go down from the city of David;

19 Onun bitişiğini –silah deposuna, surun döndüğü yere kadar çıkan yolun karşısını– Mispa'yı yöneten Yeşu oğlu Ezer onardı.

and there repaired at his hand, Ezer son of Jeshua, ruler of Mizpah, a second length, —over against the ascent of the armoury, at the corner;

after him, zealously repaired Baruch son of Zabbai, a second length, —from the corner, unto the opening of the house of Eliashib, the high priest;

21 Ondan sonrasını, Elyaşiv'in evinin kapısından evin sonuna kadar uzanan bölümü Hakkos oğlu Uriya oğlu Meremot onardı.

after him, repaired, Meremoth son of Uriah son of Hakkoz, a second length, —from the opening of the house of Eliashib, even unto the end of the house of Eliashib;

Palal, son of Uzai, from over against the corner, and the tower that projecteth from the upper house of the king, which belongeth to the court of custody, —after him, Pedaiah son of Parosh.

26 Pedaya ile Ofel Tepesi'nde yaşayan tapınak görevlileri doğuya doğru Su Kapısı'nın önüne ve gözetleme kulesine kadarki bölümü onardılar.

Now, the Nethinim, were dwelling in Ophel, —as far as over against the water-gate, on the east, and the tower that projecteth;

from beside the horse-gate, repaired the priests, every one over against his own house;
