Matta 26
1 İsa bütün bunları anlattıktan sonra öğrencilerine, “İki gün sonra Fısıh Bayramı olduğunu biliyorsunuz” dedi, “İnsanoğlu çarmıha gerilmek üzere ele verilecek.”
When Yeshua [Salvation] had finished all these words, he said to his disciples,
“You know that the Pesac ·Passover· is two days away (Nissan 12), and the Son of Man will be delivered up to be nailed to the execution-stake.”
3 Bu sırada başkâhinlerle halkın ileri gelenleri, Kayafa adındaki başkâhinin sarayında toplandılar.
Then the chief priests, the Torah-Teachers, and the elders of the people were gathered together in the court of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas [Rock that hollows itself out].
4 İsa'yı hileyle tutuklayıp öldürmek için düzen kurdular.
They took counsel together that they might take Yeshua [Salvation] by deceit, and kill him.
5 Ama, “Bayramda olmasın ki, halk arasında kargaşalık çıkmasın” diyorlardı.
But they said, “Not during the festival of Passover, lest a riot occur among the people.”
6 İsa Beytanya'da cüzamlı Simun'un evindeyken, yanına bir kadın geldi. Kadın kaymaktaşından bir kap içinde çok değerli, güzel kokulu yağ getirmişti. İsa sofrada otururken, kadın yağı O'nun başına döktü.
Now when Yeshua [Salvation] was in Bethany [House of affliction], in the house of Simeon [Hearing] the leper,
a woman came to him having an alabaster jar of very expensive ointment, and she poured it on his head as he sat at the table.
8 Öğrenciler bunu görünce kızdılar. “Nedir bu savurganlık?” dediler.
But when his disciples saw this, they were indignant, saying, “Why this waste?
9 “Bu yağ pahalıya satılabilir, parası yoksullara verilebilirdi.”
For this ointment might have been sold for much, and given to the poor.”
10 Söylenenleri farkeden İsa, öğrencilerine, “Kadını neden üzüyorsunuz?” dedi. “Benim için güzel bir şey yaptı.
However, knowing this, Yeshua [Salvation] said to them, “Why do you trouble the woman? Because she has done a good work for me.
11 Yoksullar her zaman aranızdadır, ama ben her zaman aranızda olmayacağım.
For you always have the poor with you; but you don’t always have me.
12 Kadın bu güzel kokulu yağı, beni gömülmeye hazırlamak için bedenimin üzerine boşalttı.
For in pouring this ointment on my body, she did it to prepare me for burial.
13 Size doğrusunu söyleyeyim, bu Müjde dünyanın neresinde duyurulursa, bu kadının yaptığı da onun anılması için anlatılacak.”
Most certainly I tell you, wherever this Good News is preached in the whole world, what this woman has done will also be spoken of as a memorial of her.”
14 O sırada Onikiler'den biri –adı Yahuda İskariot olanı– başkâhinlere giderek, “O'nu ele verirsem bana ne verirsiniz?” dedi. Otuz gümüş tartıp ona verdiler.
Then one of the twelve, who was called Judas Iscariot [Praised Dagger-man], went to the chief priests,
and said, “What are you willing to give me, that I should deliver him to you?” They weighed out for him thirty pieces of silver.
16 Yahuda o andan itibaren İsa'yı ele vermek için fırsat kollamaya başladı.
From that time he sought opportunity to betray him.
17 Mayasız Ekmek Bayramı'nın ilk günü öğrenciler İsa'nın yanına gelerek, “Fısıh yemeğini yemen için nerede hazırlık yapmamızı istersin?” diye sordular.
Now on the first of Matzah ·Unleavened bread· (Nissan 14), the disciples came to Yeshua [Salvation], saying to him, “Where do you want us to prepare your Seder ·Order / Passover meal·?”
18 İsa onlara, “Kente varıp o adamın evine gidin” dedi. “Ona şöyle deyin: ‘Öğretmen diyor ki, zamanım yaklaştı. Fısıh Bayramı'nı, öğrencilerimle birlikte senin evinde kutlayacağım.’”
He said, “Go into the city to a certain person, and tell him, ‘The Teacher says, “My time is at hand. I will keep the Pesac ·Passover· at your house with my disciples.”’”
19 Öğrenciler, İsa'nın buyruğunu yerine getirerek Fısıh yemeği için hazırlık yaptılar.
The disciples did as Yeshua [Salvation] commanded them, and they prepared the Seder ·Order / Passover meal·.
20 Akşam olunca İsa on iki öğrencisiyle yemeğe oturdu.
Now when evening had come, he was reclining at the table with the twelve disciples.
21 Yemek yerlerken, “Size doğrusunu söyleyeyim, sizden biri bana ihanet edecek” dedi.
As they were eating, he said, “Most certainly I tell you that one of you will betray me.”
22 Bu söz onları kedere boğdu. Teker teker, “Ya Rab, beni demek istemedin ya?” diye sormaya başladılar.
They were exceedingly sorrowful, and each began to ask him, “It is not me, is it, Lord?”
23 O da, “Bana ihanet edecek olan” dedi, “Elindeki ekmeği benimle birlikte sahana batırandır.
He answered, “He who dipped his matzah ·unleavened bread· with me in the dish (of bitter herbs), the same will betray me.
24 İnsanoğlu, kendisi için yazılmış olduğu gibi gidiyor, ama İnsanoğlu'na ihanet edenin vay haline! O adam hiç doğmamış olsaydı, kendisi için daha iyi olurdu.”
The Son of Man will die just as it is written of him, but woe to that man through whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would be better for that man if he had not been born.”
25 O'na ihanet edecek olan Yahuda, “Rabbî, yoksa beni mi demek istedin?” diye sordu. İsa ona, “Söylediğin gibidir” karşılığını verdi.
Judas [Praised], who betrayed him, answered, “It is not me, is it, Rabbi ·Teacher·?” He said to him, “You said it.”
26 Yemek sırasında İsa eline ekmek aldı, şükredip ekmeği böldü ve öğrencilerine verdi. “Alın, yiyin” dedi, “Bu benim bedenimdir.”
As they were eating, Yeshua [Salvation] took matzah ·unleavened bread·, gave thanks for it, and broke it. He gave to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is my body.”
27 Sonra bir kâse alıp şükretti ve bunu öğrencilerine vererek, “Hepiniz bundan için” dedi.
He took the (third) cup, gave thanks, and gave to them, saying, “All of you drink it,
28 “Çünkü bu benim kanımdır, günahların bağışlanması için birçokları uğruna akıtılan antlaşma kanıdır.
for this is my blood of the new covenant ·binding contract between two or more parties·, which is poured out for many for the remission of sins.
29 Size şunu söyleyeyim, Babam'ın egemenliğinde sizinle birlikte yenisini içeceğim o güne dek, asmanın bu ürününden bir daha içmeyeceğim.”
But I tell you that I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on, until that day when I drink it anew with you in 'Avi ·my Father·’s Kingdom.”
30 İlahi söyledikten sonra dışarı çıkıp Zeytin Dağı'na doğru gittiler.
When they had sung the Hallel Psalms, they went out to the Mount of Olives.
31 Bu arada İsa öğrencilerine, “Bu gece hepiniz benden ötürü sendeleyip düşeceksiniz” dedi. “Çünkü şöyle yazılmıştır: ‘Çobanı vuracağım, Sürüdeki koyunlar darmadağın olacak.’
Then Yeshua [Salvation] said to them, “All of you will be made to stumble because of me tonight, for it is written, ‘I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.’
32 Ama ben dirildikten sonra sizden önce Celile'ye gideceğim.”
But after I am raised up, I will go before you into Galilee [District, Circuit].”
33 Petrus O'na, “Herkes senden ötürü sendeleyip düşse de ben asla düşmem” dedi.
But Peter [Rock] answered him, “Even if all will be made to stumble because of you, I will never be made to stumble.”
34 “Sana doğrusunu söyleyeyim” dedi İsa, “Bu gece horoz ötmeden beni üç kez inkâr edeceksin.”
Yeshua [Salvation] said to him, “Most certainly I tell you that tonight, before the rooster crows, you will deny me three times.”
35 Petrus, “Seninle birlikte ölmem gerekse bile seni asla inkâr etmem” dedi. Öğrencilerin hepsi de aynı şeyi söyledi.
Peter [Rock] said to him, “Even if I must die with you, I will not deny you.” All of the disciples also said likewise.
36 Sonra İsa öğrencileriyle birlikte Getsemani denen yere geldi. Öğrencilerine, “Ben şuraya gidip dua edeceğim, siz burada oturun” dedi.
Then Yeshua [Salvation] came with them to a place called Gethsemane [Olive oil press], and said to his disciples, “Sit here, while I go there and pray.”
37 Petrus ile Zebedi'nin iki oğlunu yanına aldı. Kederlenmeye, ağır bir sıkıntı duymaya başlamıştı.
He took with him Peter [Rock] and the two sons of Zebedee [Bestowed by Yah], and began to be sorrowful and severely troubled.
38 Onlara, “Ölesiye kederliyim” dedi. “Burada kalın, benimle birlikte uyanık durun.”
Then he said to them, “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here, and watch with me.”
39 Biraz ilerledi, yüzüstü yere kapanıp dua etmeye başladı. “Baba” dedi, “Mümkünse bu kâse benden uzaklaştırılsın. Yine de benim değil, senin istediğin olsun.”
He went forward a little, fell on his face, and prayed, saying, “'Avi ·my Father·, if it is possible, let this cup pass away from me; nevertheless, not what I desire, but what you desire.”
40 Öğrencilerin yanına döndüğünde onları uyumuş buldu. Petrus'a, “Demek ki benimle birlikte bir saat uyanık kalamadınız!” dedi.
He came to the disciples, and found them sleeping, and said to Peter [Rock], “What, couldn’t you watch with me for one hour?
41 “Uyanık durup dua edin ki, ayartılmayasınız. Ruh isteklidir, ama beden güçsüzdür.”
Watch and pray, that you don’t enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
42 İsa ikinci kez uzaklaşıp dua etti. “Baba” dedi, “Eğer ben içmeden bu kâsenin uzaklaştırılması mümkün değilse, senin istediğin olsun.”
Again, a second time he went away, and prayed, saying, “'Avi ·my Father·, if this cup can’t pass away from me unless I drink it, your desire be done.”
43 Geri geldiğinde öğrencilerini yine uyumuş buldu. Onların göz kapaklarına ağırlık çökmüştü.
He came again and found them sleeping, for their eyes were heavy.
44 Onları bırakıp tekrar uzaklaştı, yine aynı sözlerle üçüncü kez dua etti.
He left them again, went away, and prayed a third time, saying the same words.
45 Sonra öğrencilerin yanına dönerek, “Hâlâ uyuyor, dinleniyor musunuz?” dedi. “İşte saat yaklaştı, İnsanoğlu günahkârların eline veriliyor.
Then he came to his disciples, and said to them, “Sleep on now, and take your rest. Behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.
46 Kalkın, gidelim. İşte bana ihanet eden geldi!”
Arise, let’s be going. Behold, he who betrays me is at hand.”
47 İsa daha konuşurken, Onikiler'den biri olan Yahuda geldi. Yanında, başkâhinlerle halkın ileri gelenleri tarafından gönderilmiş kılıçlı sopalı büyük bir kalabalık vardı.
While he was still speaking, behold, Judas [Praised], one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and clubs, from the chief priests and elders of the people.
48 İsa'ya ihanet eden Yahuda, “Kimi öpersem, İsa O'dur, O'nu tutuklayın” diye onlarla sözleşmişti.
Now he who betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, “Whoever I phileo ·affectionately love, kiss·, he is the one. Seize him.”
49 Dosdoğru İsa'ya gidip, “Selam, Rabbî!” diyerek O'nu öptü.
Immediately he came to Yeshua [Salvation], and said, “Shalom ·Complete peace·, Rabbi ·Teacher·!” and kissed him.
50 İsa, “Arkadaş, ne yapacaksan yap!” dedi. Bunun üzerine adamlar yaklaştı, İsa'yı yakalayıp tutukladılar.
Yeshua [Salvation] said to him, “Friend, why are you here?” Then they came and laid hands on Yeshua [Salvation], and took him.
51 İsa'yla birlikte olanlardan biri, ani bir hareketle kılıcını çekti, başkâhinin kölesine vurup kulağını uçurdu.
Behold, one of those who were with Yeshua [Salvation] stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck the servant of the high priest, and struck off his ear.
52 O zaman İsa ona, “Kılıcını yerine koy!” dedi. “Kılıç çekenlerin hepsi kılıçla ölecek.
Then Yeshua [Salvation] said to him, “Put your sword back into its place, for all those who take the sword will die by the sword.
53 Yoksa Babam'dan yardım isteyemez miyim sanıyorsun? İstesem, hemen şu an bana on iki tümenden fazla melek gönderir.
Or do you think that I couldn’t ask 'Avi ·my Father·, and he would even now send me more than twelve legions of angels?
54 Ama böyle olması gerektiğini bildiren Kutsal Yazılar o zaman nasıl yerine gelir?”
How then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that it must be so?”
55 Bundan sonra İsa kalabalığa dönüp şöyle seslendi: “Niçin bir haydutmuşum gibi beni kılıç ve sopalarla yakalamaya geldiniz? Her gün tapınakta oturup öğretiyordum, beni tutuklamadınız.
In that hour Yeshua [Salvation] said to the multitudes, “Have you come out as against a robber with swords and clubs to seize me? I sat daily in the temple teaching, and you didn’t arrest me.
56 Ama bütün bunlar, peygamberlerin yazdıkları yerine gelsin diye oldu.” O zaman öğrencilerin hepsi O'nu bırakıp kaçtı.
But all this has happened, that the Scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled.” Then all the disciples left him, and fled.
57 İsa'yı tutuklayanlar, O'nu Başkâhin Kayafa'ya götürdüler. Din bilginleriyle ileri gelenler de orada toplanmışlardı.
Those who had taken Yeshua [Salvation] led him away to Caiaphas [Rock that hollows itself out] the high priest, where the Torah-Teachers and the elders were gathered together.
58 Petrus, İsa'yı uzaktan, ta başkâhinin avlusuna kadar izledi. Sonucu görmek için içeri girip nöbetçilerin yanına oturdu.
But Peter [Rock] followed him from a distance, to the court of the high priest, and entered in and sat with the officers, to see the end.
59 Başkâhinlerle Yüksek Kurul'un öteki üyeleri, İsa'yı ölüm cezasına çarptırmak için kendisine karşı yalancı tanıklar arıyorlardı.
Now the chief priests, the elders, and the whole council sought false testimony against Yeshua [Salvation], that they might put him to death;
60 Ortaya birçok yalancı tanık çıktığı halde, aradıklarını bulamadılar. Sonunda ortaya çıkan iki kişi şöyle dedi: “Bu adam, ‘Ben Tanrı'nın Tapınağı'nı yıkıp üç günde yeniden kurabilirim’ dedi.”
and they found none. Even though many false witnesses came forward, they found none. But at last two false witnesses came forward,
and said, “This man said, ‘I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to build it in three days.’”
62 Başkâhin ayağa kalkıp İsa'ya, “Hiç yanıt vermeyecek misin?” dedi. “Nedir bunların sana karşı ettiği bu tanıklıklar?”
The high priest stood up, and said to him, “Have you no answer? What is this that these testify against you?”
63 İsa susmaya devam etti. Başkâhin ise O'na, “Yaşayan Tanrı adına ant içmeni buyuruyorum, söyle bize, Tanrı'nın Oğlu Mesih sen misin?” dedi.
But Yeshua [Salvation] held his peace. The high priest answered him, “I adjure you by the Elohim Chayim [Living God], that you tell us whether you are the Messiah [Anointed one], the Ben-Elohim ·Son of Elohim God·.”
64 İsa, “Söylediğin gibidir” karşılığını verdi. “Üstelik size şunu söyleyeyim, bundan sonra İnsanoğlu'nun, Kudretli Olan'ın sağında oturduğunu ve göğün bulutları üzerinde geldiğini göreceksiniz.”
Yeshua [Salvation] said to him, “You have said it. Nevertheless, I tell you, after this you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming on the clouds of the sky.”
65 Bunun üzerine başkâhin giysilerini yırtarak, “Tanrı'ya küfretti!” dedi. “Artık tanıklara ne ihtiyacımız var? İşte küfürü işittiniz.
Then the high priest tore his, saying, “He has spoken blasphemy! Why do we need any more witnesses? Behold, now you have heard his blasphemy.
66 Buna ne diyorsunuz?” “Ölümü hak etti!” diye karşılık verdiler.
What do you think?” They answered, “He is worthy of death!”
67 Bunun üzerine İsa'nın yüzüne tükürüp O'nu yumrukladılar. Bazıları da O'nu tokatlayıp, “Ey Mesih, peygamberliğini göster bakalım, sana vuran kim?” dediler.
Then they spit in his face and beat him with their fists, and some slapped him,
saying, “Prophesy to us, you Messiah [Anointed one]! Who hit you?”
69 Petrus ise dışarıda, avluda oturuyordu. Bir hizmetçi kız yanına gelip, “Sen de Celileli İsa'yla birlikteydin” dedi.
Now Peter [Rock] was sitting outside in the court, and a maid came to him, saying, “You were also with Yeshua [Salvation], the Galilean!”
70 Ama Petrus bunu herkesin önünde inkâr ederek, “Neden söz ettiğini anlamıyorum” dedi.
But he denied it before them all, saying, “I don’t know what you are talking about.”
71 Sonra avlu kapısının önüne çıktı. Onu gören başka bir hizmetçi kız orada bulunanlara, “Bu adam Nasıralı İsa'yla birlikteydi” dedi.
When he had gone out onto the porch, someone else saw him, and said to those who were there, “This man also was with Yeshua [Salvation] of Nazareth [Branch, Separated one].”
72 Petrus ant içerek, “Ben o adamı tanımıyorum” diye yine inkâr etti.
Again he denied it with an oath, “I don’t know the man.”
73 Orada duranlar az sonra Petrus'a yaklaşıp, “Gerçekten sen de onlardansın. Konuşman seni ele veriyor” dediler.
After a little while those who stood by came and said to Peter [Rock], “Surely you are also one of them, for your speech makes you known.”
74 Petrus kendine lanet okuyup ant içerek, “O adamı tanımıyorum!” dedi. Tam o anda horoz öttü.
Then he began to curse and to swear, “I don’t know the man!” Immediately the rooster crowed.
75 Petrus, İsa'nın, “Horoz ötmeden beni üç kez inkâr edeceksin” dediğini hatırladı ve dışarı çıkıp acı acı ağladı.
Peter [Rock] remembered the word which Yeshua [Salvation] had said to him, “Before the rooster crows, you will deny me three times.” He went out and wept bitterly.
