Hezekiel 16
1 RAB bana şöyle seslendi:
Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
2 “İnsanoğlu, Yeruşalim'e yaptığı iğrenç uygulamaları bildir.
Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations,
3 De ki, ‘Egemen RAB Yeruşalim'e şöyle diyor: Kökenin ve doğumun açısından Kenan ülkesindensin; baban Amorlu, annense Hititli'ydi.
and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto Jerusalem: Thy birth and thy nativity is of the land of the Canaanite; the Amorite was thy father, and thy mother was an Hittite.
4 Doğduğun gün göbek bağın kesilmedi, temizlemek için seni yıkamadılar, tuzla ovalamadılar, kundağa sarmadılar.
And as for thy nativity, in the day thou wast born thy navel was not cut, neither wast thou washed in water to cleanse thee; thou wast not salted at all, nor swaddled at all.
5 Kimse bunlardan birini yapacak kadar sana acımadı, sevecenlik göstermedi. Senden tiksindikleri için doğduğun gün seni kıra attılar.
None eye pitied thee, to do any of these unto thee, to have compassion upon thee; but thou wast cast out in the open field, for that thy person was abhorred, in the day that thou wast born.
6 “‘Yanından geçtim, senin kendi kanının içinde kımıldadığını gördüm. Kendi kanının içindeyken yaşa! dedim. Evet, Kendi kanının içindeyken yaşa! dedim.
And when I passed by thee, and saw thee weltering in thy blood, I said unto thee, [Though thou art] in thy blood, live; yea, I said unto thee, [Though thou art] in thy blood, live.
7 Kırda yetişen bir bitki gibi seni geliştirdim. Geliştin, büyüdün, kusursuz bir güzelliğe eriştin. Göğüslerin oluştu, saçların uzadı. Ama çırılçıplaktın.
I caused thee to multiply as the bud of the field, and thou didst increase and wax great, and thou attainedst to excellent ornament; thy breasts were fashioned, and thine hair was grown; yet thou wast naked and bare.
8 “‘Yine yanından geçtim, sana baktım, sevgi çağındı. Giysimin eteğini üzerine serdim, çıplaklığını örttüm. Sana ant içtim, seninle antlaşma yaptım. Egemen RAB böyle diyor. Ve benim oldun.
Now when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time was the time of love; and I spread my skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I sware unto thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, saith the Lord GOD, and thou becamest mine.
9 “‘Seni yıkadım, üzerindeki kanı temizledim, derine zeytinyağı sürdüm.
Then washed I thee with water; yea, I throughly washed away thy blood from thee, and I anointed thee with oil.
10 Sana işlemeli giysiler giydirdim, deriden çarık verdim. Beline ince keten kuşak bağladım, seni pahalı giysilerle örttüm,
I clothed thee also with broidered work, and shod thee with sealskin, and I girded thee about with fine linen, and covered thee with silk.
11 takılarla süsledim. Bileklerine bilezikler, boynuna gerdanlık taktım.
I decked thee also with ornaments, and I put bracelets upon thy hands, and a chain on thy neck.
12 Burnuna halka, kulaklarına küpeler, başına görkemli bir taç taktım.
And I put a ring upon thy nose, and earrings in thine ears, and a beautiful crown upon thine head.
13 Altınla gümüşle süslendin; giysilerin ince ketenden, pahalı, işlemeli kumaştandı. İnce unla, balla, zeytinyağıyla beslendin. Gitgide güzelleştin, krallığa yaraştın.
Thus wast thou decked with gold and silver; and thy raiment was of fine linen, and silk, and broidered work; thou didst eat fine flour, and honey, and oil: and thou wast exceeding beautiful, and thou didst prosper unto royal estate.
14 Güzelliğinden ötürü ünün uluslar arasında yayıldı. Çünkü seni görkemimle donattığım için güzelliğin kusursuzdu. Egemen RAB böyle diyor.
And thy renown went forth among the nations for thy beauty; for it was perfect through my majesty which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord GOD.
15 “‘Ama sen güzelliğine güvendin, ününü kullanarak fahişelik ettin. Her geçene gönlünü kaptırdın, kendini teslim ettin.
But thou didst trust in thy beauty, and playedst the harlot because of thy renown, and pouredst out thy whoredoms on every one that passed by; his it was.
16 Giysilerinden alıp kendine süslü tapınma yerleri yaptın, oralarda fahişelik ettin. Böylesi ne olmuştur, ne de olacaktır.
And thou didst take of thy garments, and madest for thee high places decked with divers colours, and playedst the harlot upon them: [the like things] shall not come, neither shall it be so.
17 Sana verdiğim altın, gümüş süslerden erkek suretleri yaptın, onlarla fahişelik ettin.
Thou didst also take thy fair jewels of my gold and of my silver, which I had given thee, and madest for thee images of men, and didst play the harlot with them;
18 İşlemeli giysilerini alıp onların üzerine örttün. Onlara zeytinyağımı, buhurumu sundun.
and thou tookest thy broidered garments, and coveredst them, and didst set mine oil and mine incense before them.
19 Yemen için sağladığım yiyeceği –ince unu, zeytinyağını, balı– güzel kokulu bir sunu olarak onlara sundun. Böyle yaptın diyor Egemen RAB.
My bread also which I gave thee, fine flour, and oil, and honey, wherewith I fed thee, thou didst even set it before them for a sweet savour, and [thus] it was; saith the Lord GOD.
20 “‘Bana doğurduğun oğulları, kızları alıp yiyecek olarak putlara kurban ettin. Fahişelik etmen yetmiyormuş gibi,
Moreover thou hast taken thy sons and thy daughters, whom thou hast borne unto me, and these hast thou sacrificed unto them to be devoured. Were thy whoredoms a small matter,
21 çocuklarımı kesip sunu olarak ateşte putlara kurban ettin.
that thou hast slain my children, and delivered them up, in causing them to pass through [the fire] unto them?
22 Bütün iğrenç uygulamalarını, fahişeliklerini yaparken gençlik günlerini, çırılçıplak olduğun, kanının içinde kımıldandığın zamanı anımsamadın.
And in all thine abominations and thy whoredoms thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth, when thou wast naked and bare, and wast weltering in thy blood.
23 “‘Egemen RAB, vay, vay başına diyor! Yaptığın kötülüklere ek olarak,
And it is come to pass after all thy wickedness, (woe, woe unto thee! saith the Lord GOD, )
24 kendine fuhuş yuvaları kurdun, bütün meydanlarda yüksek tapınma yerleri yaptın.
that thou hast built unto thee an eminent place, and hast made thee a lofty place in every street.
25 Her yolun başına kendin için yüksek tapınma yerleri kurdun, güzelliğini kirlettin, her geçene kendini teslim ettin, fahişeliklerini artırdın.
Thou hast built thy lofty place at every head of the way, and hast made thy beauty an abomination, and hast opened thy feet to every one that passed by, and multiplied thy whoredom.
26 Şehvet düşkünü komşuların Mısırlılar'la fahişelik ettin. Fahişeliklerini artırmakla beni öfkelendirdin.
Thou hast also committed fornication with the Egyptians, thy neighbours, great of flesh; and hast multiplied thy whoredom, to provoke me to anger.
27 İşte bu yüzden elimi sana karşı uzattım, yiyecek payını azalttım. Ahlaksız davranışından utanç duyan düşmanların Filist kızları dilediklerini yapsınlar diye seni onlara teslim ettim.
Behold therefore, I have stretched out my hand over thee, and have diminished thine ordinary [food], and delivered thee unto the will of them that hate thee, the daughters of the Philistines, which are ashamed of thy lewd way.
28 Asurlular'la da fahişelik ettin, çünkü doymamıştın. Evet, onlarla fahişelik ettin, yine doymadın.
Thou hast played the harlot also with the Assyrians, because thou wast unsatiable; yea, thou hast played the harlot with them, and yet thou wast not satisfied.
29 Fahişeliğini ticaret diyarı olan Kildan ülkesine dek artırdın, yine de doymadın.
Thou hast moreover multiplied thy whoredom in the land of Canaan, unto Chaldea; and yet thou wast not satisfied herewith.
30 “‘Bütün bunları yaparken yüreğin ne kadar yıpranmış’ diyor Egemen RAB, ‘Yüzsüz bir fahişe gibi davrandın!
How weak is thine heart, saith the Lord GOD, seeing thou doest all these things, the work of an imperious whorish woman;
31 Her yolun başına fuhuş yuvaları kurarken, bütün meydanlarda yüksek tapınma yerleri yaparken, fahişe gibi bile değildin, ücretini küçümsedin.
in that thou buildest thine eminent place in the head of every way, and makest thy lofty place in every street; and hast not been as an harlot, in that thou scornest hire.
32 “‘Kocasının yerine yabancıları yeğleyen, zina eden bir kadındın!
A wife that committeth adultery! that taketh strangers instead of her husband!
33 Fahişelere ücret ödenir. Oysa sen bütün oynaşlarına armağanlar dağıttın. Fahişelik etmek için her yandan sana gelsinler diye rüşvet verdin.
They give gifts to all harlots: but thou gavest thy gifts to all thy lovers, and bribest them, that they may come unto thee on every side for thy whoredoms.
34 Fahişeliğinde öbür kadınlara benzemiyorsun. Çünkü fahişelik edesin diye kimse senin peşine düşmüyor. Ücret ödeyen sensin, kimse sana ücret ödemiyor. Bu yüzden öbürlerine benzemiyorsun.
And the contrary is in thee from [other] women in thy whoredoms, in that none followeth thee to commit whoredom: and whereas thou givest hire, and no hire is given unto thee, therefore thou art contrary.
35 “‘Bu nedenle, ey fahişe, RAB'bin sözünü dinle!
Wherefore, O harlot, hear the word of the LORD:
36 Egemen RAB şöyle diyor: Yüzsüzlüğün ortaya döküldüğü, oynaşlarınla fahişelik ederken çıplaklığın meydana çıktığı için, bütün iğrenç putların yüzünden, onlara çocuklarının kanını verdiğin için,
Thus saith the Lord GOD, Because thy filthiness was poured out, and thy nakedness discovered through thy whoredoms with thy lovers; and because of all the idols of thy abominations, and for the blood of thy children, which thou didst give unto them;
37 düşüp kalktığın bütün oynaşlarını –sevdiklerini de nefret ettiklerini de– toplayacağım. Sana karşı onları her yandan toplayacak, çıplaklığını onların önüne sereceğim; bütün çıplaklığını görecekler.
therefore behold, I will gather all thy lovers, with whom thou hast taken pleasure, and all them that thou hast loved, with all them that thou hast hated; I will even gather them against thee on every side, and will discover thy nakedness unto them, that they may see all thy nakedness.
38 Sana zina eden, kan döken kadınlara verilen cezayı vereceğim. Kanını akıtarak seni öfkemin ve kıskançlığımın öcüne terk edeceğim.
And I will judge thee, as women that break wedlock and shed blood are judged; and I will bring upon thee the blood of fury and jealousy.
39 Seni oynaşlarının eline teslim edeceğim. Fuhuş yuvalarını yıkacak, yüksek tapınma yerlerini bozacaklar. Üzerindeki giysileri soyacak, güzel mücevherlerini alıp seni çırılçıplak bırakacaklar.
I will also give thee into their hand, and they shall throw down thine eminent place, and break down thy lofty places; and they shall strip thee of thy clothes, and take thy fair jewels: and they shall leave thee naked and bare.
40 Halkı sana karşı kışkırtacaklar. Seni taşlayacak, kılıçlarıyla delik deşik edecekler.
They shall also bring up an assembly against thee, and they shall stone thee with stones, and thrust thee through with their swords.
41 Evlerini ateşe verecek, seni birçok kadının gözü önünde yargılayacaklar. Fahişeliklerine son vereceğim, artık oynaşlarına ücret ödemeyeceksin.
And they shall burn thine houses with fire, and execute judgments upon thee in the sight of many women; and I will cause thee to cease from playing the harlot, and thou shalt also give no hire any more.
42 Böylece sana karşı öfkem yatışacak, kıskançlığım dinecek. Susacak, bir daha öfkelenmeyeceğim.
So will I satisfy my fury upon thee, and my jealousy shall depart from thee, and I will be quiet, and will be no more angry.
43 “‘Madem gençlik günlerini anımsamadın, yaptıklarınla beni öfkelendirdin, ben de yaptıklarını senin başına getireceğim. Böyle diyor Egemen RAB. Bu iğrenç uygulamalarına ek olarak ahlaksızlık da ettin.
Because thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth, but hast fretted me in all these things; therefore behold, I also will bring thy way upon thine head, saith the Lord GOD: and thou shalt not commit [this] lewdness above all thine abominations.
44 “‘Herkes senin için şu deyişi söyleyecek: Annesi nasılsa kızı da öyle.
Behold, every one that useth proverbs shall use [this] proverb against thee, saying, As is the mother, so is her daughter.
45 Sen kocasından ve çocuklarından tiksinen annenin kızısın; kocalarından ve çocuklarından tiksinen kızkardeşlerinin kızkardeşisin. Annen Hititli, baban Amorlu'ydu.
Thou art thy mother’s daughter, that loatheth her husband and her children; and thou art the sister of thy sisters, which loathed their husbands and their children: your mother was an Hittite, and your father an Amorite.
46 Kızlarıyla senin kuzeyinde yaşayan Samiriye ablan, kızlarıyla senin güneyinde yaşayan Sodom kızkardeşindir.
And thine elder sister is Samaria, that dwelleth at thy left hand, she and her daughters: and thy younger sister, that dwelleth at thy right hand, is Sodom and her daughters.
47 Sen yalnız onların yolunda yürümekle, onların iğrenç uygulamalarına uymakla kalmadın, bütün yaptıklarınla kısa sürede onlardan daha büyük kötülük ettin.
Yet hast thou not walked in their ways, nor done after their abominations; but, as [if that were] a very little [thing], thou wast more corrupt than they in all thy ways.
48 Varlığım hakkı için diyor Egemen RAB, kızkardeşin Sodom'la kızları, kızlarınla senin yaptıklarını asla yapmadılar.
As I live, saith the Lord GOD, Sodom thy sister hath not done, she nor her daughters, as thou hast done, thou and thy daughters.
49 “‘Kızkardeşin Sodom'un günahı şuydu: Kendisi de kızları da gururluydu, ekmeğe doymuşlardı, umursamazlardı. Düşküne, yoksula yardım elini uzatmadılar.
Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom; pride, fulness of bread, and prosperous ease was in her and in her daughters; neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.
50 Kendilerini beğenmişlerdi. Önümde iğrenç şeyler yaptılar. Bu nedenle, gördüğün gibi onları önümden süpürüp attım.
And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw [good].
51 Samiriye işlediğin günahın yarısını bile işlemedi. Sen onlardan çok daha iğrenç şeyler yaptın. Yaptığın iğrençliklerle kızkardeşlerini suçsuz çıkardın.
Neither hath Samaria committed half of thy sins; but thou hast multiplied thine abominations more than they, and hast justified thy sisters by all thine abominations which thou hast done.
52 Düşeceğin utanca katlanacaksın. Çünkü kızkardeşlerini haklı gibi gösterdin. İşlediğin günahlar onlarınkinden daha iğrenç olduğundan senin yanında suçsuz kalıyorlar. Bunun için utan ve düşeceğin utanca katlan. Çünkü kızkardeşlerini suçsuz çıkardın!
Thou also, bear thine own shame, in that thou hast given judgment for thy sisters; through thy sins that thou hast committed more abominable than they, they are more righteous than thou: yea, be thou also confounded, and bear thy shame, in that thou hast justified thy sisters.
53 “‘Sodom'la kızlarını, Samiriye'yle kızlarını, onlarla birlikte de seni eski gönencine kavuşturacağım.
And I will turn again their captivity, the captivity of Sodom and her daughters, and the captivity of Samaria and her daughters, and the captivity of thy captives in the midst of them:
54 Utanca boğulacaksın. Bütün yaptıklarından ötürü kızkardeşlerine avuntu olacak ve utanacaksın.
that thou mayest bear thine own shame, and mayest be ashamed because of all that thou hast done, in that thou art a comfort unto them.
55 Kızkardeşlerin Sodom ve Samiriye ile kızları eski durumlarına dönecekler; kızlarınla sen de öyle.
And thy sisters, Sodom and her daughters, shall return to their former estate, and Samaria and her daughters shall return to their former estate, and thou and thy daughters shall return to your former estate.
56 Kötülüğün açığa çıkmadan önce, gururlu olduğun günlerde kızkardeşin Sodom'un adını bile anmıyordun. Şimdi sen de Edom kızlarıyla komşuları ve Filist kızlarınca –çevrende seninle alay edenlerce– küçümseniyorsun.
For thy sister Sodom was not mentioned by thy mouth in the day of thy pride;
before thy wickedness was discovered, as at the time of the reproach of the daughters of Syria, and of all that are round about her, the daughters of the Philistines, which do despite unto thee round about.
58 Ahlaksızlığının ve yaptığın iğrençliklerin sonuçlarına katlanacaksın. RAB böyle diyor.
Thou hast borne thy lewdness and thine abominations, saith the LORD.
59 “‘Egemen RAB şöyle diyor: Seninle yaptığım antlaşmayı bozarak içtiğin andı küçümsedin. Ben de hak ettiğin biçimde seni cezalandıracağım.
For thus saith the Lord GOD: I will even deal with thee as thou hast done, which hast despised the oath in breaking the covenant.
60 Gençlik günlerinde seninle yaptığım antlaşmayı anımsayacağım. Seninle sonsuza dek kalıcı bir antlaşma yapacağım.
Nevertheless I will remember my covenant with thee in the days of thy youth, and I will establish unto thee an everlasting covenant.
61 Büyük, küçük kızkardeşlerini yanına aldığında yaptıklarını anımsayacak ve utanacaksın. Seninle yaptığım antlaşmada olmadığı halde onları kızların olsunlar diye sana vereceğim.
Then shalt thou remember thy ways, and be ashamed, when thou shalt receive thy sisters, thine elder [sisters] and thy younger: and I will give them unto thee for daughters, but not by thy covenant.
62 Seninle yeniden antlaşma yapacağım, benim RAB olduğumu anlayacaksın.
And I will establish my covenant with thee; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD:
63 Bütün yaptıklarını bağışladığımda, anımsayacak ve utanacaksın. Utancından bir daha ağzını açmayacaksın. Egemen RAB böyle diyor.’”
that thou mayest remember, and be confounded, and never open thy mouth any more, because of thy shame; when I have forgiven thee all that thou hast done, saith the Lord GOD.
