1 Pea naʻa ne fakahā kiate au ʻae vaitafe maʻa ʻoe vai moʻui, ʻāsinisini ʻo hangē ko e kalisitala, pea ʻoku haʻu mei he ʻafioʻanga ʻoe ʻOtua mo e Lami.
And hee shewed me a pure riuer of water of life, cleare as crystall, proceeding out of the throne of God, and of the Lambe.
2 ‌ʻI he loto hala lahi ʻo ia, pea ʻi hono kauvai fakatouʻosi, naʻe ʻi ai ʻae ʻakau ʻoe moʻui, naʻe tupu ai ʻae fua kehekehe ʻe hongofulu ma ua, pea fua ia ʻi he māhina kotoa pē: pea ko hono louʻakau, ko e meʻa fakamoʻui ʻoe ngaahi puleʻanga.
In the middes of the street of it, and of either side of ye riuer, was the tree of life, which bare twelue maner of fruits, and gaue fruit euery moneth: and the leaues of the tree serued to heale the nations with.
3 Pea ʻe ʻikai kei ai ha malaʻia: he ko e ʻafioʻanga ʻoe ʻOtua mo e Lami ʻe tuʻu ʻi ai; pea ʻe tauhi ia ʻe heʻene kau tamaioʻeiki:
And there shalbe no more curse, but ye throne of God and of the Lambe shall be in it, and his seruants shall serue him.
4 Pea te nau mamata ki hono fofonga pea ʻe ʻi honau foʻi laʻē ʻa hono huafa.
And they shall see his face, and his Name shalbe in their foreheads.
And there shalbe no night there, and they neede no candle, neither light of the sunne: for the Lord God giueth them light, and they shall reigne for euermore. (aiōn g165)
6 Pea naʻe pehē mai ʻe ia kiate au, “ʻOku totonu mo moʻoni ʻae ngaahi lea ni: pea ko e ʻEiki ko e ʻOtua ʻoe kau palōfita māʻoniʻoni,” Kuo ne fekau ʻene ʻāngelo ke fakahā ki heʻene kau tamaioʻeiki ʻae ngaahi meʻa ʻe toʻotoʻo ʻa hono fai.
And he said vnto me, These wordes are faithfull and true: and the Lord God of the holy Prophets sent his Angell to shewe vnto his seruants the things which must shortly be fulfilled.
7 “Vakai, ʻoku ou haʻu vave: ʻoku monūʻia ia ʻoku ne fai ʻae ngaahi lea ʻoe kikite ʻoe tohi ni.”
Beholde, I come shortly. Blessed is hee that keepeth the woordes of the prophecie of this booke.
8 Pea ko au Sione, ne u mamata mo fanongo ki he ngaahi meʻa ni. Pea ʻi heʻeku fanongo mo mamata, ne u foʻohifo ke hū ʻi he vaʻe ʻoe ʻāngelo naʻa ne fakahā kiate au ʻae ngaahi meʻa ni.
And I am Iohn, which sawe and heard these thinges: and when I had heard and seene, I fell downe to worship before the feete of the Angell which shewed me these things.
9 Pea pehē mai ʻe ia kiate au, “Vakai ke ʻoua: he ko hoʻo kaungā tamaioʻeiki au, pea ʻoku ou ʻi ho kāinga ko e kau palōfita, pea ʻokinautolu ʻoku nau fai ʻae ngaahi lea ʻoe tohi ni: hū ki he ʻOtua.”
But he sayde vnto me, See thou doe it not: for I am thy fellowe seruaunt, and of thy brethren the Prophets, and of them which keepe the woordes of this booke: worship God.
10 Pea pehē ʻe ia kiate au, “ʻOua naʻa ke fakamaʻu ʻae ngaahi lea ʻoe kikite ʻi he tohi ni: he kuo ofi hono kuonga.
And he said vnto me, Seale not the wordes of the prophecie of this booke: for the time is at hand.
11 Ko ia ʻoku taʻeangatonu, tuku ia ke taʻeangatonu ai pe: pea ko ia ʻoku ʻuli, tuku ia ke ʻuli ai pe: pea ko ia ʻoku angatonu, tuku ia ke angatonu ai pe: pea ko ia ʻoku māʻoniʻoni, tuku ia ke māʻoniʻoni ai pe.”
He that is vniust, let him be vniust stil and he which is filthie, let him be filthie still: and hee that is righteous, let him be righteous stil: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
12 Pea vakai, “ʻOku ou haʻu vave; pea ʻoku ʻiate au ʻeku totongi ke ʻatu ki he kakai taki taha ʻo fakatatau ki heʻene ngāue.”
And beholde, I come shortly, and my reward is with mee, to giue euery man according as his worke shall be.
13 Ko au ko e ʻAlifa mo ʻOmeka, ko e kamataʻanga mo e ngataʻanga, ko e ʻuluaki mo e kimui.
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
14 ‌ʻOku monūʻia ʻakinautolu ʻoku fai ʻene ngaahi fekau, koeʻuhi ke ngofua kiate kinautolu ʻae ʻakau ʻoe moʻui, pea nau hū ʻi he ngaahi matapā ki he kolo.
Blessed are they, that doe his commandements, that their right may be in the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the Citie.
15 He ʻoku ʻi tuaʻā ʻae fanga kulī, mo e kau fiemana, mo e kau feʻauaki, mo e kau fakapō, mo e kau tauhi tamapua, mo ia kotoa pē ʻoku ʻofa mo fakatupu loi.
For without shall be dogs and inchanters, and whoremongers, and murtherers, and idolaters, and whosoeuer loueth or maketh lies.
16 “Ko au Sisu, kuo u fekau ʻeku ʻāngelo ke fakahā atu kiate kimoutolu ʻae ngaahi meʻa ni ʻi he ngaahi siasi. Ko au ko e aka mo e hako ʻo Tevita, pea ko e fetuʻu ngingila ʻoe pongipongi.”
I Iesus haue sent mine Angell, to testifie vnto you these things in the Churches: I am the root and the generation of Dauid, and the bright morning starre.
17 Pea ʻoku pehē ʻe he Laumālie mo e taʻahine, “Haʻu.” Pea ke pehē mo ia ʻoku ne fanongo, “Haʻu.” Pea mo ia ʻoku fieinua, ke haʻu ia. Pea ko ia ʻoku loto ki ai, ke ne toʻo taʻetotongi ʻe ia ʻae vai ʻoe moʻui.
And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth, say, Come: and let him that is a thirst, come: and let whosoeuer will, take of the water of life freely.
18 He ʻoku ou fakahā ki he kakai kotoa pē ʻoku fanongo ki he ngaahi lea ʻoe kikite ʻi he tohi ni, Kapau ʻe fakalahi ʻe ha tangata ki he ngaahi meʻa ni, ʻe fakalahi ʻe he ʻOtua kiate ia ʻi he ngaahi malaʻia kuo tohi ʻi he tohi ni:
For I protest vnto euery man that heareth the words of the prophecie of this booke, If any man shall adde vnto these things, God shall adde vnto him the plagues, that are written in this booke:
19 Pea kapau ʻe toʻo ʻe ha tangata mei he ngaahi lea ʻoe tohi ʻoe kikite ni, ʻe toʻo ʻe he ʻOtua ʻa hono ʻinasi mei he tohi ʻoe moʻui, pea mei he kolo māʻoniʻoni, pea mo e ngaahi meʻa kuo tohi ʻi he tohi ni.
And if any man shall diminish of the wordes of the booke of this prophecie, God shall take away his part out of the Booke of life, and out of the holie citie, and from those things which are written in this booke.
20 Ko ia ʻoku ne fakahā ʻae ngaahi meʻa ni; ʻoku pehē ʻe ia, “Ko e moʻoni ʻoku ou haʻu vave;” ʻEmeni. ʻIo, ke pehē, ʻEiki Sisu, ke ke hāʻele mai.
He which testifieth these things, saith, Surely, I come quickly. Amen. Euen so, come Lord Iesus.
21 Ko e ʻaloʻofa ʻa hotau ʻEiki ko Sisu Kalaisi ke ʻiate kimoutolu kotoa pē. ʻEmeni.
The grace of our Lord Iesus Christ be with you all, AMEN.
