Treasures of wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness delivereth from death.
3 ‌ʻE ʻikai tuku ʻe Sihova ke fiekaia ʻae laumālie ʻoe māʻoniʻoni: ka ʻoku liʻaki ʻe ia ʻae koloa ʻae angahala.
Yhwh will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish: but he casteth away the substance of the wicked.

Blessings are upon the head of the just: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.

The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.
29 Ko e hala ʻo Sihova ko e mālohi ia ki he angatonu: ka ʻe hoko ʻae fakaʻauha kiate kinautolu ʻoku ngāue ʻi he angahala.
The way of Yhwh is strength to the upright: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.
30 ‌ʻE ʻikai ʻaupito faʻa ueʻi ʻae māʻoniʻoni ʻo taʻengata: pea ʻe ʻikai nofo ʻi māmani ʻae kakai angahala.
The righteous shall never be removed: but the wicked shall not inhabit the earth.
31 ‌ʻOku ʻomi mei he ngutu ʻoe angatonu ʻae poto: ka ʻe motuhi ʻae ʻelelo ʻoe talangataʻa.
The mouth of the just bringeth forth wisdom: but the perverse tongue shall be cut out.
32 ‌ʻOku ʻilo ʻe he loungutu ʻoe māʻoniʻoni ʻae meʻa ʻoku lelei: ka ʻoku lea ʻaki ʻae kovi ʻe he ngutu ʻoe angahala.
The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable: but the mouth of the wicked speaketh perverseness.
