His appearance was like lightning, and his raiment was white as snow.

From fear of him the keepers did shake and become like dead men.
5 Pea lea ʻae ʻāngelo ki he ongo fafine, ʻo pehēange, “ʻOua naʻa mo manavahē ʻakimoua: he ʻoku ou ʻilo ʻoku mo kumi ʻa Sisu, ʻaia naʻe tutuki ki he ʻakau.
But the angel answered and said to the women: Fear not; for I know that you seek Jesus, who was crucified.
6 ʻOku ʻikai ʻi heni ia: he kuo toetuʻu, ʻo hangē ko ʻene lea. Mo omi, ʻo mamata ki he potu naʻe tokoto ai ʻae ʻEiki.
He is not here; for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
7 Pea mo ō ke vave, ʻo tala ki heʻene kau ākonga ‘kuo toetuʻu ia mei he mate; pea vakai, ʻoku ʻalu muʻomuʻa ia ʻiate kimoutolu ki Kaleli: te mou mamata kiate ia ʻi ai:’ vakai, kuo u tala ia kiate kimoua.”
And go quickly, and tell his disciples, that he has risen from the dead: and behold, he goes before you into Galilee. There you shall see him. Lo, I have told you.

And they went out quickly from the sepulcher, with fear and great joy, and ran to tell his disciples.

And as they were going to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying: Hail! And they came and laid hold of his feet, and worshiped him.

Then Jesus said to them: Fear not; go, tell my brethren to go into Galilee, and there they shall see me.

While they were going, behold, some of the guard came into the city, and told the chief priests all things that were done.

And when they came together with the elders, they held a consultation, and gave much money to the soldiers,
13 ʻonau pehē, “Mou lea, [ʻo pehē], ‘Naʻe haʻu ʻene kau ākonga ʻi he pō, ʻo kaihaʻasi ia lolotonga ʻemau mohe.’
saying: Say that his disciples came by night and stole him away, while we were asleep.
14 Pea kapau ʻe ongo atu ʻae meʻa ni ki he pule, te mau fakalotoʻi ia, kae maluʻi ʻakimoutolu.”
And if this shall be heard in the presence of the governor, we will persuade him, and make you secure.
15 Ko ia naʻa nau toʻo ai ʻae ngaahi paʻanga, ʻonau fai ʻo hangē ko hono akonekina ʻakinautolu: pea ʻoku maʻu ʻae tala ni ʻi he kakai Siu ʻo aʻu ki he ʻaho ni.
And they took the money, and did as they were taught. And their report of this matter is everywhere published among the Jews to this day.
16 Pea naʻe ʻalu ai ʻae kau ākonga ʻe toko hongofulu ma tokotaha ki Kaleli, ki he moʻunga ʻaia naʻe fakahā ʻe Sisu kiate kinautolu.
And the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into the mountain, where Jesus had appointed to meet them.
17 Pea kuo nau mamata kiate ia, pea nau hū kiate ia: ka naʻe fakataʻetaʻetui ʻae niʻihi.
And when they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.
18 Pea haʻu ʻa Sisu ʻo lea kiate kinautolu, ʻo pehē, “Kuo tuku kiate au ʻae mālohi kotoa pē ʻi he langi mo māmani.
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying: All authority in heaven and on earth is given to me.
19 Ko ia ke ʻalu ʻakimoutolu, ʻo fakalotuʻi ʻae ngaahi puleʻanga kotoa pē, ʻo papitaiso ʻakinautolu ʻi he huafa ʻoe Tamai, mo e ʻAlo, mo e Laumālie Māʻoniʻoni:
Go, therefore, make disciples of all nations, immersing them (the disciples) into the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit;
20 ʻO akonaki atu kiate kinautolu ke nau tokanga ki he ngaahi meʻa kotoa pē ʻaia kuo u fekau kiate kimoutolu: pea vakai, ʻoku ou ʻiate kimoutolu maʻuaipē, ʻo aʻu ki he ngataʻanga ʻo māmani.” ʻEmeni. (aiōn g165)
teaching them to observe all things whatever I have commanded you: and lo; I am with you all the days, even to the end of the age. (aiōn g165)
