< Kaletia 6 >

1 ‌ʻE Kāinga, kapau ʻe moʻua ha tangata ʻi ha kovi, ko kimoutolu ʻoku fakalaumālie, fakamoʻui ia ʻi he loto angavaivai; mo ke tokangaʻi koe, telia naʻa fakatauveleʻi ko e foki.
Brethren, if a man be suddenly taken in any offence, ye which are spirituall, restore such one with the spirit of meekenes, considering thy selfe, least thou also be tempted.
2 Mou fetoutou fefuaʻaki hoʻomou kavenga, pea fakamoʻoni ai ki he fono ʻa Kalaisi.
Beare ye one anothers burden, and so fulfill the Lawe of Christ.
3 He kapau ʻoku mahalo ʻe ha taha ko ha meʻa ia, ka ʻoku ʻikai, ʻoku ne kākaaʻi ʻe ia ia.
For if any man seeme to himselfe, that he is somewhat, when he is nothing, hee deceiueth himselfe in his imagination.
4 Kae tuku ke ʻahiʻahi ʻe he tangata taki taha ʻene ngāue ʻaʻana, pea te ne toki maʻu ai ʻae fiefia ʻiate ia pe, kae ʻikai ʻi ha taha kehe.
But let euery man prooue his owne worke: and then shall he haue reioycing in himselfe onely and not in another.
5 Koeʻuhi ʻe taki taha fua ʻene kavenga ʻaʻana.
For euery man shall beare his owne burden.
6 Ko ia kuo akonekina ʻi he folofola, ke ne foaki ʻae meʻa ʻaonga kotoa pē kiate ia ʻoku akonaki.
Let him that is taught in the worde, make him that hath taught him, partaker of all his goods.
7 ‌ʻOua naʻa kākaaʻi ʻakimoutolu; ʻoku ʻikai faʻa kākaaʻi ʻae ʻOtua: he ko ia ʻoku tūtuuʻi ʻe he tangata, ko ia te ne utu foki.
Be not deceiued: God is not mocked: for whatsoeuer a man soweth, that shall hee also reape.
8 He ko ia ʻoku tūtuuʻi ki hono kakano, te ne utu ʻi he kakano ʻae ʻauha; ka ko ia ʻoku tūtuuʻi ki he Laumālie, te ne utu ʻi he Laumālie ʻae moʻui taʻengata. (aiōnios g166)
For hee that soweth to his flesh, shall of the flesh reape corruption: but hee that soweth to the spirit, shall of the spirit reape life euerlasting. (aiōnios g166)
9 Pea ke ʻoua naʻa tau fiu ʻi he fai lelei: he te tau utu ʻi hono faʻahitaʻu totonu, ʻo kapau ʻe ʻikai te tau vaivai.
Let vs not therefore be weary of well doing: for in due season we shall reape, if we faint not.
10 Ko ia, pea ʻi heʻetau maʻu ha faingamālie, ke tau fai lelei ki he kakai kotoa pē, kae ʻāsili pe kiate kinautolu ʻoku ʻi he fale ʻoe tui.
While we haue therefore time, let vs doe good vnto all men, but specially vnto them, which are of the housholde of faith.
11 ‌ʻOku mou mamata ki he tohi lahi kuo u tohi atu kiate kimoutolu ʻaki hoku nima ʻoʻoku.
Ye see how large a letter I haue written vnto you with mine owne hand.
12 Ko kinautolu ʻoku holi ke matamatalelei fakakakano pe, ʻoku nau fakalotoʻi ʻakimoutolu ke mou kamu; telia naʻa fakatangaʻi ʻakinautolu koeʻuhi ko e ʻakau ʻo Kalaisi.
As many as desire to make a faire shewe in the flesh, they constraine you to be circumcised, onely because they would not suffer persecution for the crosse of Christ.
13 He ko kinautolu kuo kamu, ʻoku ʻikai te nau fai ki he fono; ka ʻoku nau holi ke mou kamu, koeʻuhi ke nau polepole ai ʻi homou kakano.
For they themselues which are circumcised keepe not the law, but desire to haue you circumcised, that they might reioyce in your flesh.
14 Kae mamaʻo mo au ʻae polepole, ka ʻi he ʻakau pe ʻo hotau ʻEiki ko Sisu Kalaisi, ʻaia kuo tutuki ai ke mate ʻa māmani kiate au, mo au ki māmani.
But God forbid that I should reioyce, but in ye crosse of our Lord Iesus Christ, whereby the world is crucified vnto me, and I vnto ye world.
15 He ʻoku ʻikai ʻaonga siʻi ʻia Kalaisi Sisu ʻae kamu, pe ʻae taʻekamu, ka ko e fakafoʻou.
For in Christ Iesus neither circumcision auaileth any thing, nor vncircumcision, but a newe creature.
16 Pea ko kinautolu ʻoku ʻaʻeva ʻo taau mo e meʻa fua ni, ke ʻiate kinautolu ʻae monūʻia, mo e ʻaloʻofa, pea ki he ʻIsileli ʻoe ʻOtua.
And as many as walke according to this rule, peace shalbe vpon them, and mercie, and vpon the Israel of God.
17 Ke ngata mei heni, ke ʻoua naʻa fakamamahiʻi au ʻe ha taha: he ʻoku ou fua ʻi hoku sino ʻae ngaahi fakaʻilonga ʻoe ʻEiki ko Sisu.
From henceforth let no man put me to busines: for I beare in my body the markes of the Lord Iesus.
18 ‌ʻE kāinga, ke ʻi homou laumālie ʻae ʻofa ʻa hotau ʻEiki ko Sisu Kalaisi. ʻEmeni.
Brethren, the grace of our Lord Iesus Christ be with your spirit, Amen. ‘Vnto the Galatians written from Rome.’
