Now these are the children of the province that went up out of the captivity, of those which had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away unto Babylon, and came again unto Jerusalem and Judah, every one unto his city;

58 Ko e kau Netenimi kotoa pē, mo e ngaahi fānau ʻae kau tamaioʻeiki ʻa Solomone, naʻe toko tolungeau mo e toko hivangofulu ma ua.

All the Nethinims, and the children of Solomon’s servants, were three hundred ninety and two.

59 Pea ko kinautolu ni ia naʻe ʻalu hake mei Telimela, mo Telihalesa, mo Kilupi, mo ʻAtani, mo Imeli: ka naʻe ʻikai te nau faʻa fakahā ʻae fale ʻo ʻenau tamai, mo honau hohoko, pe kuo ʻo ʻIsileli ʻakinautolu pe ʻikai:

And these were they which went up from Tel–melah, Tel–harsa, Cherub, Addan, and Immer: but they could not shew their father’s house, and their seed, whether they were of Israel:

60 Ko e fānau ʻa Tilaia, ko e fānau ʻa Topaia, ko e fānau ʻa Nikota, ko e toko onongeau mo e toko nimangofulu ma ua.

The children of Delaiah, the children of Tobiah, the children of Nekoda, six hundred fifty and two.

61 Pea ʻi he fānau ʻae kau taulaʻeiki ko e fānau ʻa Hopaia, ko e fānau ʻa Kose, ko e fānau ʻa Pasilai; ʻaia naʻa ne maʻu ʻae uaifi ʻi he ngaahi ʻofefine ʻo Pasilai ko e tangata Kiliati, pea naʻe ui ia ʻi hono hingoa.

And of the children of the priests: the children of Habaiah, the children of Koz, the children of Barzillai; which took a wife of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and was called after their name:

62 Naʻe kumi ʻekinautolu honau hohoko fakataha mo kinautolu naʻe lau ʻi he hokohoko, ka naʻe ʻikai faʻa ʻilo ia: ko ia naʻe tukuange ai ʻakinautolu ʻo hangē ha taʻemaʻa, mei he ngāue ʻoe taulaʻeiki.

These sought their register among those that were reckoned by genealogy, but they were not found: therefore were they, as polluted, put from the priesthood.

63 Pea naʻe tala ʻe he ʻeiki pule kiate kinautolu, ke ʻoua naʻa nau kai ʻi he ngaahi meʻa māʻoniʻoni lahi, kaeʻoua ke tuʻu hake ha taulaʻeiki ʻaki ʻae ʻUlimi mo e Tumemi.

And the governor said unto them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there stood up a priest with Urim and with Thummim.

64 Ko e kakai ʻoe fakataha kotoa pē ko e toko fā mano, mo e toko ua afe, mo e tolungeau ma onongofulu,

The whole congregation together was forty and two thousand three hundred and threescore,

65 Ka ʻoku lau kehe ʻenau kau tamaioʻeiki mo ʻenau ngaahi kaunanga, ko e toko fitu afe, mo e toko tolungeau ma tolungofulu ma fitu: pea naʻe ʻiate kinautolu ʻae kau tangata hiva mo e kau fefine hiva ʻe toko uangeau.

Beside their servants and their maids, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred thirty and seven: and there were among them two hundred singing men and singing women.

66 Ko ʻenau fanga hoosi ko e fitungeau mo e tolungofulu ma ono: ko ʻenau fanga miuli, ko e uangeau mo e fāngofulu ma nima;

Their horses were seven hundred thirty and six; their mules, two hundred forty and five;

67 Ko ʻenau fanga kāmeli, ko e fāngeau mo e tolungofulu ma nima; ko ʻenau fanga ʻasi, ko e ono afe mo e fitungeau mo e uofulu.

Their camels, four hundred thirty and five; their donkeys, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.

68 Pea ʻi he hoko ʻae niʻihi naʻe tuʻukimuʻa ʻi he ngaahi tamai ki he fale ʻo Sihova ʻaia ʻoku ʻi Selūsalema, naʻa nau ʻatu fiemālie pea mo e fale ʻoe ʻOtua ke fokotuʻu hake ia ʻi hono potu:

And some of the chief of the fathers, when they came to the house of Yhwh which is at Jerusalem, offered freely for the house of God to set it up in his place:

69 Naʻa nau foaki ʻo fakatatau ki heʻenau mafai ki he koloa maʻae ngāue, ko e talami koula ʻe ono mano mo e taha afe, pea mo e siliva ko e paunite ʻe nima afe, mo e kofu ʻe teau ki he kau taulaʻeiki.

They gave after their ability unto the treasure of the work threescore and one thousand drams of gold, and five thousand pound of silver, and one hundred priests’ garments.

70 Ko ia naʻe nofo ʻae kau taulaʻeiki, mo e kau Livai, mo e niʻihi ʻi he kakai, mo e kau hiva, mo e kau leʻo matapā, mo e kau Netenimi, ʻi honau ngaahi kolo, pea mo ʻIsileli kotoa pē ki honau ngaahi kolo ʻonautolu.

So the priests, and the Levites, and some of the people, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinims, dwelt in their cities, and all Israel in their cities.
