1 Ko e ngaahi lea ʻa ʻAmosi, ʻaia naʻe ʻi he kau tauhimanu ʻo Tikoa, ko e meʻa naʻa ne mamata ai ʻoku kau ki ʻIsileli ʻi he ngaahi ʻaho ʻo ʻUsaia ko e tuʻi ʻo Siuta, pea ʻi he ngaahi ʻaho ʻo Selopoami ko e foha ʻo Soasi ko e tuʻi ʻo ʻIsileli, ʻi hono ua taʻu naʻe muʻomuʻa ʻi he mofuike.

The Lord says: For Damascus’ three crimes – no, four! – I will not rescind my judgment. They have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron.
4 Pea te u fekau ʻae afi ki he fale ʻo Hasaeli, ʻaia te ne kai ʻo ʻosi ʻae ngaahi fale fakaʻeiʻeiki ʻo Penihatati.
Therefore I will send fire on Hazael’s house, it will devour the palaces of Ben-hadad.
5 Te u fesiʻi foki ʻae vaʻa ʻo Tamasikusi, pea te u motuhi ʻae kakai mei he toafa ko ʻAveni, pea mo ia ʻoku maʻu ʻae tokotoko mei he fale ʻo ʻIteni: pea ʻe ʻalu pōpula ʻae kakai Silia ki Kili,” he ʻoku pehē ʻe Sihova.
I will break open the gate of Damascus, I will wipe out those who live in the valley of Aven and the sceptred ruler of Beth-Eden. The people of Aram will go into captivity in Kir, says the Lord.
6 ʻOku pehē ʻe Sihova; “Koeʻuhi ko e talangataʻa ʻe tolu ʻa Kesa, pea mo hono fā, ʻe ʻikai te u fakaafe [ʻae tautea ]mei ai; he naʻa nau ʻave pōpula ʻae kau pōpula kotoa pē, koeʻuhi ke nau tuku ʻakinautolu ki ʻItomi:
The Lord says: For Gaza’s three crimes – no, four! – I will not rescind my judgment. They carried away captive a whole nation, sold them as slaves to Edom.
7 Ka te u fekau ʻae afi ki he ʻā ʻo Kesa, ʻaia te ne kai ʻo ʻosi ʻae ngaahi fale fakaʻeiʻeiki ʻi ai:
Therefore I will send fire on the wall of Gaza, and it shall devour her palaces.
8 Pea te u motuhi ʻae kakai mei ʻAsitoti, pea mo ia ʻoku maʻu ʻae tokotoko mei ʻAsikeloni, pea te u hiki hoku nima ki ʻEkiloni: pea ko e toenga ʻoe kau Filisitia ʻe ʻauha,” he ʻoku pehē ʻe Sihova.
And I will wipe out those who live in Ashdod, and the sceptred ruler of Askelon. I will turn my hand against Ekron, and the remnant of the Philistines will perish, says the Lord.
9 ʻOku pehē ʻe Sihova; “Koeʻuhi ko e talangataʻa ʻe tolu ʻa Taia, pea mo hono fā, ʻe ʻikai te u fakaafe [hono tautea ]ʻo ia; he naʻa nau tuku ʻae kau pōpula kotoa pē ki ʻItomi, pea naʻe ʻikai te nau manatuʻi ʻae fuakava fakakāinga:
The Lord says: For Tyre’s three crimes – no, four! – I will not rescind my judgment. They carried away captive a whole people into exile in Edom, and did not remember the brotherly covenant.
10 Ka te u fekau ʻae afi ki he ʻā ʻo Taia, ʻaia te ne kai ʻo ʻosi ʻae ngaahi fale fakaʻeiʻeiki ʻi ai.”
So I will send fire on the walls of Tyre. It will devour her palaces.
11 ʻOku pehē ʻe Sihova; “Koeʻuhi ko e talangataʻa ʻe tolu ʻa ʻItomi, pea mo hono fā, ʻe ʻikai te u fakaafe [hono tautea ]ʻo ia; he naʻa ne tuli hono tokoua ʻaki ʻae heletā, pea naʻe liʻaki ʻae manavaʻofa, pea naʻe haeʻi ʻe ia ʻi heʻene ʻita maʻuaipē, pea naʻa ne fakatolonga ʻene lili ʻo taʻengata:
The Lord says: For Edom’s three crimes – no, four! – I will not rescind my judgment. They pursued their relatives with the sword, stilled their pity, cherished their anger continually, retained their fury forever.
12 Ka te u fekau ʻae afi ki Timani, ʻaia ʻe kai ʻo ʻosi ʻae ngaahi fale fakaʻeiʻeiki ʻo Posila.”
So I will send a fire into Teman. It will destroy the palaces of Bozrah.
13 ʻOku pehē ʻe Sihova; “Koeʻuhi ko e talangataʻa ʻe tolu ʻae fānau ʻa ʻAmoni, pea mo hono fā, ʻe ʻikai te u fakaafe [honau tautea]; he naʻa nau haeʻi ʻae kau fefine feitama ʻi Kiliati, koeʻuhi ke nau totolo mai honau mata fonua:
The Lord says: For Ammonites’ three crimes – no, four! – I will not rescind my judgment. They have ripped open pregnant women in Gilead, in their lust for land.
14 Ka te u tutu ʻae afi ʻi he ʻā ʻo Lapa, pea te ne kai ʻae ngaahi fale fakaʻeiʻeiki ʻo ia, ʻi he kaila ʻi he ʻaho ʻoe tau, mo e afā ʻi he ʻaho ʻoe ʻahiohio:
So I will kindle a fire on the wall of Rabbah. It will destroy her palaces, with a war-cry in the day of battle, with a tempest in the day of the whirlwind.
15 Pea ʻe ʻalu honau tuʻi ki he pōpula, ʻaia mo hono ngaahi houʻeiki fakataha,” ʻoku pehē ʻe Sihova.
Their king will go into exile, he and his nobles together, says the Lord.
