< 2 Kolinitō 9 >

1 Pea ko e meʻa ʻi he tokoni ki he kāinga māʻoniʻoni, ʻoku taʻeʻaonga ʻeku tohi kiate kimoutolu.
For as touching the ministring to the Saints, it is superfluous for me to write vnto you.
2 He ʻoku ou ʻilo homou loto lelei, ʻaia naʻaku polepole ai ʻiate kimoutolu kiate kinautolu ʻi Masitōnia, koeʻuhi ʻoku talu ʻae taʻu ʻe taha mo e teu ki ai ʻa ʻAkeia; pea ko hoʻomou fai feinga kuo langaki ʻae tokolahi.
For I knowe your readinesse of minde, whereof I boast my selfe of you vnto them of Macedonia, and say, that Achaia was prepared a yeere agoe, and your zeale hath prouoked many.
3 Ka kuo u fekau ʻae kāinga, telia naʻa taʻeʻaonga ʻa ʻemau polepole ʻiate kimoutolu ʻi he meʻa ni; kae hangē ko ʻeku tala, ke mou teuteu pe:
Nowe haue I sent the brethren, lest our reioycing ouer you shoulde bee in vaine in this behalfe, that yee (as I haue sayde) be readie:
4 Telia naʻa ʻiloange, te mau ʻalu atu mo ha niʻihi ʻo Masitōnia, pea ʻilo ʻakimoutolu ʻoku teʻeki ai teuteu, pea mā ai ʻakimautolu (ʻoku ʻikai teu pehē ʻakimoutolu) ʻi he polepole lahi ni.
Lest if they of Macedonia come with me, and finde you vnprepared, we (that wee may not say, you) should be ashamed in this my constant boasting.
5 Ko ia naʻaku pehē ai ʻoku ʻaonga ʻeku enginaki ʻae kāinga, koeʻuhi ke nau ʻalu muʻomuʻa kiate kimoutolu, ʻo tomuʻa fakamaʻopoʻopo hoʻomou meʻaʻofa, ʻaia naʻe tomuʻa lea ki ai, koeʻuhi ke teu pe ia, ʻo ngali mo e meʻa foaki, kae ʻikai hangē ʻoku ʻi he manumanu.
Wherefore, I thought it necessarie to exhort the brethren to come before vnto you, and to finish your beneuolence appointed afore, that it might be readie, and come as of beneuolence, and not as of niggardlinesse.
6 Ka ko eni, Ko ia ʻoku tūtuuʻi fakasiʻisiʻi, ʻe utu fakasiʻisiʻi foki; pea ko ia ʻoku tūtuuʻi lahi, ʻe utu lahi foki.
This yet remember, that he which soweth sparingly, shall reape also sparingly, and hee that soweth liberally, shall reape also liberally.
7 Ke foaki ʻe he tangata taki taha ʻo hangē ko ia kuo pau hono loto ki ai, kae ʻikai ʻi he mamahi, pe ʻi hono puleʻi: he ʻoku ʻofa ʻae ʻOtua ki ha foaki fiefia.
As euery man wisheth in his heart, so let him giue, not grudgingly, or of necessitie: for God loueth a cheerefull giuer.
8 Pea ʻoku mafai ʻe he ʻOtua ke fakatupulekina ʻae ngaahi meʻa lelei kotoa pē kiate kimoutolu; koeʻuhi ʻi he mahu lahi maʻuaipē ʻakimoutolu ʻi he meʻa kotoa pē, ke mou faʻa fai ʻae ngāue lelei kotoa pē:
And God is able to make all grace to abound towarde you, that yee alwayes hauing all sufficiencie in all thinges, may abounde in euery good worke,
9 (Hangē ko ia kuo tohi, “Kuo tufaki atu ʻe ia; kuo foaki ʻe ia ki he masiva: pea ʻe tuʻumaʻu ʻene māʻoniʻoni ʻo taʻengata.” (aiōn g165)
(As it is written, He hath sparsed abroad and hath giuen to the poore: his beneuolence remayneth for euer. (aiōn g165)
10 Pea ko eni, ko ia ʻoku ne foaki ʻae tengaʻi ʻakau ki he tūtuuʻi, ʻofa ke ne foaki ʻae mā ke mou kai, pea fakatupu hoʻomou tenga kuo tūtuuʻi, pea fakalahi ʻae ngaahi fua ʻo hoʻomou māʻoniʻoni; )
Also hee that findeth seede to the sower, will minister likewise bread for foode, and multiplie your seede, and increase the fruites of your beneuolence, )
11 Koeʻuhi ke fakamaʻumeʻaʻi ʻakimoutolu ʻi he meʻa kotoa pē ki he faʻa foaki lahi, ʻaia ʻoku tupu ai ʻae fakafetaʻi ki he ʻOtua ʻiate kimautolu.
That on all partes yee may bee made rich vnto all liberalitie, which causeth through vs thankesgiuing vnto God.
12 He ko e tauhi atu ʻoe ngāue ni, ʻoku ʻikai ngata ʻi he tokoni ki he masiva ʻoe kāinga māʻoniʻoni, ka ʻoku tupulekina ia ʻi he ngaahi fakafetaʻi lahi ki he ʻOtua;
For the ministration of this seruice not onely supplieth the necessities of the Saintes, but also aboundantly causeth many to giue thankes to God,
13 Pea ʻi he fakamoʻoni ʻoe tokoni ni, ʻoku nau fakamālō ki he ʻOtua ʻi hoʻomou talangofua ʻoku fakahā ni ki he ongoongolelei ʻa Kalaisi, pea ʻi hoʻomou tufaki lahi kiate kinautolu, pea ki he kakai kotoa pē;
(Which by the experiment of this ministration praise God for your voluntarie submission to the Gospell of Christ, and for your liberall distribution to them, and to all men)
14 Pea ʻi heʻenau lotua ʻakimoutolu, mo e holi lahi kiate kimoutolu, koeʻuhi ko e ʻofa lahi ʻae ʻOtua ʻoku ʻiate kimoutolu.
And in their praier for you, to log after you greatly, for the aboundant grace of God in you.
15 Fakafetaʻi ki he ʻOtua, koeʻuhi ko ʻene foaki ʻoku taʻefaʻalaua.
Thankes therefore bee vnto God for his vnspeakeable gift.
