లూకా 10
1 ౧ ఆ తరువాత ప్రభువు డెబ్భై మంది ఇతర శిష్యులను కూడా నియమించి తాను వెళ్ళబోయే ప్రతి ఊరికీ, ప్రతి చోటికీ ఇద్దరిద్దరిని తనకంటే ముందుగా పంపించాడు.
After this the appointed seventy others, and sent them two by two before his face, into every city and place into which he himself intended to go.
2 ౨ వారిని పంపిస్తూ ఆయన వారితో ఇలా అన్నాడు, “కోత ఎక్కువగా ఉంది. పనివారు తక్కువగా ఉన్నారు. కాబట్టి పనివారిని పంపమని కోత యజమానిని వేడుకోండి.
And he thus addressed them. "The harvest is abundant, but the harvesters are few. do you therefore pray the lord of the harvest to send forth harvesters into his harvest.
3 ౩ మీరు వెళ్ళండి. ఇదిగో వినండి, తోడేళ్ళ మధ్యకు గొర్రె పిల్లలను పంపినట్టు నేను మిమ్మల్ని పంపుతున్నాను.
"Go your way; behold, I am sending you forth like lambs among wolves.
"Carry no purse, no bag, no shoes; and do not salute any one on your journey.
"Into whatever you first enter, say, ‘Peace be to this house!’
"And if there be any son of peace there, your peace shall rest upon him; but if not it shall return to you.
7 ౭ వారు మీకు పెట్టే పదార్థాలను తింటూ తాగుతూ ఆ ఇంట్లోనే ఉండండి. ఎందుకంటే పనివాడు జీతానికి పాత్రుడు. ఇంటింటికీ తిరగవద్దు.
"Stay in that same house, eating and drinking what they give. for the laborer is worthy of his hire. Do not go from house to house.
8 ౮ మీరు ఏదైనా ఊరిలో ప్రవేశించినప్పుడు అక్కడి వారు మిమ్మల్ని స్వీకరిస్తే వారు మీ ఎదుట పెట్టినవి తినండి.
"And whatever town you come to, and they receive you, eat whatever they put before you.
"Heal the sick in that town and tell them, The kingdom of God draws near to you.
"But whatever town you enter, and they do not receive you, Go out into the streets and cry,
11 ౧౧ మీరు ఆ ఊరి వీధుల్లోకి వెళ్ళి, ‘మా కాళ్ళకు అంటిన మీ పట్టణం దుమ్మును మీ ముందే దులిపి వేస్తున్నాం. అయినా దేవుని రాజ్యం సమీపించిందని తెలుసుకోండి’ అని చెప్పండి.
"‘The very dust of your town which clings to your feet we wipe off as protest; but know this, that the kingdom of God is drawing near to you.’
12 ౧౨ తీర్పు రోజున ఆ ఊరికి పట్టే గతి కంటే సొదొమ పట్టణానికి పట్టిన గతే ఓర్చుకోదగినది అవుతుందని మీతో చెబుతున్నాను.
"For I tell you that it will be mare tolerable for Sodom in that day than for that town.
13 ౧౩ “అయ్యో కొరాజీనూ, నీకు యాతన. అయ్యో బేత్సయిదా, నీకు యాతన. మీ మధ్య చేసిన అద్భుతాలు తూరు సీదోను పట్టణాల్లో చేస్తే ఆ పట్టణాల్లోని వారు ముందే గోనె పట్ట కట్టుకుని బూడిదెలో కూర్చుని మనసు మార్చుకుని ఉండేవారు.
"Woe unto you, Chorazin! Woe unto you, Bethsaida! For had the mighty been done in Tyre and Sidon which were done in you, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.
"However, it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the judgment than for you.
"And you Capernaum, shall you be exalted to heaven? No! you shall be brought down to Hades! (Hadēs g86)
16 ౧౬ మీ మాట వినే వాడు నా మాటా వింటాడు. మిమ్మల్ని నిరాకరించే వాడు నన్నూ నిరాకరిస్తాడు. నన్ను నిరాకరించేవాడు నన్ను పంపిన వాణ్ణి నిరాకరిస్తాడు.”
"He who listens to you listens to me. and he who rejects you, rejects me; he who rejects me, rejects him who sent me."
17 ౧౭ ఆ డెబ్భై మంది శిష్యులు సంతోషంతో తిరిగి వచ్చి, “ప్రభూ, దయ్యాలు కూడా నీ పేరు చెబితే మాకు లోబడుతున్నాయి” అని చెప్పారు.
Then the Seventy returned with joy, saying, "Lord even the demons are subject to us in your name."
And he said to them. "I watched Satan fall from heaven like a lightning flash.
19 ౧౯ ఇదిగో వినండి, పాములనూ, తేళ్లనూ తొక్కడానికి శత్రువు బలమంతటి మీదా మీకు అధికారం ఇచ్చాను. మీకు ఏదీ ఏ మాత్రమూ హని చేయదు.
"Behold, I give you the power to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and to trample on all the power of the enemy. In no case shall anything do you harm.
20 ౨౦ అయినా దయ్యాలు లోబడుతున్నాయని కాదు, మీ పేర్లు పరలోకంలో రాసి ఉన్నాయని సంతోషించండి” అని వారికి చెప్పాడు.
"Nevertheless, do not rejoice at this, that the spirits are subject to you; but rejoice that your names are written in Heaven."
21 ౨౧ ఆ సమయంలోనే యేసు పరిశుద్ధాత్మలో ఎంతో ఆనందించాడు. “తండ్రీ, ఆకాశానికీ భూమికీ ప్రభూ, నువ్వు ఈ సంగతులను జ్ఞానులకూ, తెలివైన వారికీ దాచిపెట్టి పసివారికి వెల్లడి పరిచావని నిన్ను కీర్తిస్తున్నాను. అవును తండ్రీ, అలా చేయడం నీకు అనుకూలం ఆయింది.”
In the same hour he thrilled with joy in the Holy Ghost. "I praise thee, Father, Lord of Heaven and Earth," he said "for hiding these things from the wise and prudent, and for revealing them to babes. Yea, Father, for so it was well pleasing in thy sight!
22 ౨౨ “నా తండ్రి నాకు అన్నిటినీ అప్పగించాడు. కుమారుణ్ణి తండ్రి తప్ప మరెవరూ ఎరగరు. అలాగే తండ్రి ఎవరో కుమారుడూ, ఆ కుమారుడు ఎవరికి ఆయనను వెల్లడి చేయడానికి ఇష్టపడతాడో అతడూ తప్ప ఇంకెవరూ ఎరగరు.”
"All things have been delivered to me by my Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father; and who the Father is except the Son, and he the Son wishes to reveal him."
23 ౨౩ అప్పుడు ఆయన తన శిష్యుల వైపు తిరిగి ఏకాంతంగా వారితో, “మీరు చూస్తున్న వాటిని చూసే కళ్ళు ధన్యమైనాయి.
And turning to his disciples he said privately. "Blessed are the eyes that see what you see!
24 ౨౪ అనేకమంది ప్రవక్తలూ, రాజులూ మీరు చూస్తున్న వాటిని చూడాలని కోరుకున్నా చూడలేకపోయారు, వినాలని కోరుకున్నా వినలేక పోయారని మీతో చెబుతున్నాను” అని అన్నాడు.
"For I tell you that many prophets and kings have longed to see what you see, and have seen it; and to hear what you hear, and have heard it not.’
25 ౨౫ ఒకసారి ఒక ధర్మశాస్త్ర ఉపదేశకుడు లేచి ఆయనను పరీక్షిస్తూ, “బోధకుడా, నిత్య జీవానికి వారసుణ్ణి కావాలంటే నేను ఏమి చేయాలి?” అని అడిగాడు. (aiōnios g166)
Then a certain lawyer stood up and tempted him. "Master," he said "what shall I do to inherit eternal life?" (aiōnios g166)
And he said to him. "What is written in the Law? What do you read there?"
27 ౨౭ అతడు, “నీ దేవుడైన ప్రభువును నీ పూర్ణ హృదయంతోనూ, నీ పూర్ణ ఆత్మతోనూ, నీ పూర్ణ శక్తితోనూ, నీ పూర్ణ మనసుతోనూ ప్రేమించాలి. నిన్ను నీవు ప్రేమించుకున్నట్టే నీ పొరుగువాణ్ణీ ప్రేమించాలి” అన్నాడు.
"You must love the Lord your God," he answered, with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself."
"You have answered right," said Jesus "do that and you shall live."
29 ౨౯ అయితే తనను నీతిమంతుడిగా చూపించుకోడానికి అతడు, “అది సరే గానీ, నా పొరుగువాడు ఎవడు?” అని యేసును అడిగాడు.
But he, determined to justify himself, said to Jesus, "But who is my neighbor?" Jesus answered.
30 ౩౦ అందుకు యేసు, “ఒక వ్యక్తి యెరూషలేము నుండి యెరికో పట్టణానికి ప్రయాణమై పోతూ దోపిడీ దొంగల చేతికి చిక్కాడు. వారు అతని బట్టలు దోచుకుని అతణ్ణి కొట్టి, కొన ప్రాణంతో విడిచి పెట్టారు.
"A certain man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he fell among bandits who both stripped him and beat him, and went off leaving him half dead.
"Now a certain priest chanced to be going down that way, but on seeing him he passed on the other side.
"In like manner also a Levite who came to the spot, came and looked at him, and passed on the other side.
"But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was, and when he saw him was moved with compassion.
34 ౩౪ అతనిపై నూనే, ద్రాక్షారసం పోసి, గాయాలకు కట్లు కట్టి తన గాడిదపై ఎక్కించుకుని ఒక సత్రానికి తీసుకువెళ్ళి అతని బాగోగులు చూశాడు.
"He went to him bound up his wounds, pouring on them oil and wine. He set him on his own beast, and took him to an inn, and took care of him.
35 ౩౫ మరుసటి రోజు అతడు రెండు వెండి నాణాలు తీసి ఆ సత్రం యజమానికిచ్చి, ‘ఇతణ్ణి జాగ్రత్తగా చూసుకో. ఇతనికి నువ్వు ఇంకేమైనా ఖర్చు చేస్తే ఈసారి నేను మళ్ళీ వచ్చినప్పుడు అది నీకు తీర్చేస్తాను’ అనిచెప్పి వెళ్ళిపోయాడు.
"The next day he took two silver pieces and gave them to the landlord and said, "‘Take care of him, and whatever more you spend I will repay it to you on my way back.’
36 ౩౬ అయితే ఇప్పుడు ఆ ముగ్గురిలో దొంగల చేతిలో చిక్కిన వాడికి పొరుగువాడు ఎవరని నీకు అనిపిస్తుంది?” అని అతనిని అడిగాడు.
"Which then of these three seems to you to have behaved like a neighbor to the man who fell among bandits?"
37 ౩౭ దానికి అతడు, “అతని మీద జాలి చూపిన వాడే” అన్నాడు. యేసు, “నువ్వు కూడా వెళ్ళి అలాగే చెయ్యి” అని అతనితో చెప్పాడు.
He replied, "The one who showed mercy on him." "Go, then," said Jesus, "and do likewise."
38 ౩౮ వారు ప్రయాణమై వెళ్తూ ఉన్నప్పుడు ఆయన ఒక గ్రామంలో ప్రవేశించాడు. అక్కడ మార్త అనే ఒక స్త్రీ ఆయనను తన ఇంట్లోకి ఆహ్వానించింది.
It happened as they went on their way that he entered into a certain village were a woman named Martha received him into her house.
She had a sister named Mary, who after seating herself at the Lord’s feet was listening to his teaching.
40 ౪౦ మార్త ఎన్నో పనులు పెట్టుకుని తొందరపడుతూ ఆయన దగ్గరికి వచ్చి, “ప్రభూ, నా సోదరి నన్ను విడిచి ఇక్కడ కూర్చుంది, ఒక్కదాన్నే పనులన్నీ చేసుకోవలసి వస్తున్నది. నీకేం పట్టదా? వచ్చి నాకు సాయం చేయమని ఆమెకు చెప్పు” అంది.
But Martha meanwhile was growing distracted about much serving. She came up to him and said. "Lord do you not care that my sister has left me alone to do the serving? Come tell her to take hold of her end of the work along with me."
41 ౪౧ అందుకు ప్రభువు, “మార్తా, మార్తా, నువ్వు బోలెడన్ని పనులను గురించి తొందర పడుతున్నావు. కానీ అవసరమైంది ఒక్కటే.
"Martha, Martha," said Jesus, "you are anxious and worried about many things,
"only one thing is really necessary. Mary, moreover, has chosen that good part which shall not be taken away from her."
