దినవృత్తాంతములు~ రెండవ~ గ్రంథము 3

1 ౧ తరువాత సొలొమోను యెరూషలేములో తన తండ్రి దావీదుకు యెహోవా ప్రత్యక్షమైనప్పుడు అతడు మోరీయా పర్వతంపై సిద్ధం చేసిన స్థలం లో ఒర్నాను అనే యెబూసీయుడికి చెందిన కళ్ళంలో యెహోవా మందిరం కట్టించడం మొదలుపెట్టాడు.

6 ౬ ఆ మందిరాన్ని ప్రశస్తమైన రత్నాలతో అలంకరించాడు. దానికి వాడిన బంగారం పర్వాయీము నుండి వచ్చింది.

8 ౮ దానిలో సొలొమోను అతి పరిశుద్ధ స్థలాన్ని కట్టించాడు. దాని పొడవు మందిరపు వెడల్పును బట్టి ఇరవై మూరలు. దాని వెడల్పు ఇరవై మూరలు. ఇరవై వేల కిలోల మేలిమి బంగారంతో అతడు దాన్ని పొదిగించాడు.

11 ౧౧ ఆ కెరూబుల రెక్కల మొత్తం పొడుగు 20 మూరలు. కెరూబు ఒక రెక్క పొడుగు ఐదు మూరలు. అది మందిరం గోడకి తగులుతూ ఉంది. రెండో రెక్క దానికి జతగా ఉన్న కెరూబు రెక్కకి తగులుతూ ఉంది.

12 ౧౨ రెండో కెరూబు రెక్క పొడుగు కూడా ఐదు మూరలు. అది మందిరం గోడకి తగులుతూ ఉంది. రెండో రెక్క దానికి జతగా ఉన్న కెరూబు రెక్కకి తగులుతూ ఉంది

and wing [the] cherub [the] one cubit five to touch to/for wall [the] house: home and [the] wing [the] another cubit five cleaving to/for wing [the] cherub [the] another

13 ౧౩ ఈ విధంగా ఈ కెరూబులు చాచిన రెక్కలు ఇరవై మూరలు వ్యాపించాయి. ఆ కెరూబులు తమ పాదాల మీద నిలబెట్టి ఉన్నాయి. వారి ముఖాలు మందిరం ప్రధాన గది వైపుకు తిరిగి ఉన్నాయి.

15 ౧౫ అంతే గాక ముందు 35 మూరల పొడవున్న రెండు స్తంభాలూ, వాటి మీదకి ఐదు మూరల పొడవున్న పీటలూ చేయించాడు.

16 ౧౬ గర్భాలయంలో చేసినట్టు గొలుసు పని చేయించి, స్తంభాల పైభాగంలో దాన్ని ఉంచి, నూరు దానిమ్మ కాయలు చేయించి ఆ గొలుసు పనికి తగిలించాడు.

17 ౧౭ ఆ రెండు స్తంభాలనూ దేవాలయం ముందు కుడి వైపున ఒకటీ ఎడమ వైపున ఒకటీ నిలబెట్టి, కుడి వైపు దానికి “యాకీను” అనీ, ఎడమ వైపు దానికి “బోయజు” అనీ పేర్లు పెట్టాడు.
