சங்கீதம் 91

1 ௧ உன்னதமான தேவனுடைய மறைவில் இருக்கிறவன் சர்வவல்லவருடைய நிழலில் தங்குவான்.

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

2 ௨ நான் யெகோவாவை நோக்கி: நீர் என்னுடைய அடைக்கலம், என்னுடைய கோட்டை, என் தேவன், நான் நம்பியிருக்கிறவர் என்று சொல்லுவேன்.

I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.”

3 ௩ அவர் உன்னை வேடனுடைய கண்ணிக்கும், பாழாக்கும் கொள்ளை நோய்க்கும் தப்புவிப்பார்.

For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence.

4 ௪ அவர் தமது சிறகுகளாலே உன்னை மூடுவார்; அவர் இறக்கைகளின் கீழே அடைக்கலம் புகுவாய்; அவருடைய சத்தியம் உனக்கு பெரிய கவசமும், கேடகமுமாகும்.

He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart.

5 ௫ இரவில் உண்டாகும் பயங்கரத்திற்கும், பகலில் பறக்கும் அம்பிற்கும்,

You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day,

6 ௬ இருளில் நடமாடும் கொள்ளை நோய்க்கும், மத்தியானத்தில் பாழாக்கும் வியாதிகளுக்கும் பயப்படாமல் இருப்பாய்.

nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday.

7 ௭ உன்னுடைய பக்கத்தில் ஆயிரம்பேரும், உன்னுடைய வலதுபுறத்தில் பத்தாயிரம்பேரும் விழுந்தாலும், அது உன்னை அணுகாது.

A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not come near you.

8 ௮ உன் கண்களால்மட்டும் நீ அதைப் பார்த்து, துன்மார்க்கர்களுக்கு வரும் பலனைக் காண்பாய்.

You will only look with your eyes, and see the recompense of the wicked.

9 ௯ எனக்கு அடைக்கலமாக இருக்கிற உன்னதமான தேவனாகிய யெகோவாவை உனக்கு அடைக்கலமாகக் கொண்டாய்.

Because you have made the LORD your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place,

10 ௧0 ஆகையால் பொல்லாப்பு உனக்கு நேரிடாது, வாதை உன்னுடைய கூடாரத்தை அணுகாது.

no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling.

11 ௧௧ உன்னுடைய வழிகளிலெல்லாம் உன்னைக் காக்கும்படி, உனக்காகத் தம்முடைய தூதர்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிடுவார்.

For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways.

12 ௧௨ உன்னுடைய பாதம் கல்லில் இடறாதபடிக்கு அவர்கள் உன்னைத் தங்களுடைய கைகளில் ஏந்திக்கொண்டு போவார்கள்.

They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone.

13 ௧௩ சிங்கத்தின்மேலும் விரியன் பாம்பின்மேலும் நீ நடந்து, பாலசிங்கத்தையும் வலுசர்ப்பத்தையும் மிதித்துப்போடுவாய்.

You will tread on the lion and cobra. You will trample the young lion and the serpent underfoot.

14 ௧௪ அவன் என்னிடத்தில் வாஞ்சையாக இருக்கிறபடியால் அவனை விடுவிப்பேன்; என்னுடைய பெயரை அவன் அறிந்திருக்கிறபடியால் அவனை உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலத்திலே வைப்பேன்.

“Because he has set his love on me, therefore I will deliver him. I will set him on high, because he has known my name.

15 ௧௫ அவன் என்னை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுவான், நான் அவனுக்கு மறுஉத்திரவு அருளிச்செய்வேன்; ஆபத்தில் நானே அவனோடு இருந்து, அவனைத் தப்புவித்து, அவனைக் கனப்படுத்துவேன்.

He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him.

16 ௧௬ நீடித்த நாட்களால் அவனைத் திருப்தியாக்கி, என்னுடைய இரட்சிப்பை அவனுக்குக் காண்பிப்பேன்.

I will satisfy him with long life, and show him my salvation [yeshuah-ti].”
