சங்கீதம் 47

1 ௧ கோராகின் குடும்பத்தின் இராகத் தலைவனுக்கு அளிக்கப்பட்ட ஒரு பாடல். எல்லா மக்களே, கைகொட்டி, தேவனுக்கு முன்பாகக் கெம்பீரசத்தமாக ஆர்ப்பரியுங்கள்.

Oh clap your hands, all you nations. Shout to God with the voice of triumph!

2 ௨ உன்னதமான தேவனாகிய யெகோவா பயங்கரமானவரும், பூமியின் மீதெங்கும் மகத்துவமான ராஜாவுமாக இருக்கிறார்.

For Adonai Most High is awesome. He is a great King over all the earth.

3 ௩ மக்களை நமக்கு கீழ்படுத்தி, தேசங்களை நம்முடைய பாதங்களுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படுத்துவார்.

He subdues nations under us, and peoples under our feet.

4 ௪ தமக்குப் பிரியமான யாக்கோபின் சிறப்பான தேசத்தை நமக்குச் உரிமைச்சொத்தாக தெரிந்தளிப்பார். (சேலா)

He chooses our inheritance for us, the glory of Jacob [Supplanter] whom he 'ahav ·affectionately loved·. (Selah) ·contemplation with musical interlude·.

5 ௫ தேவன் ஆர்ப்பரிப்போடும், யெகோவா எக்காள சத்தத்தோடும் உயர எழுந்தருளினார்.

God has gone up with a shout, Adonai with the sound of a shofar ·ram horn·.

6 ௬ தேவனைப் போற்றிப் பாடுங்கள், பாடுங்கள்; நம்முடைய ராஜாவைப் போற்றிப் பாடுங்கள், பாடுங்கள்.

Sing zahmar ·musical praise· to God, sing zahmar ·musical praise·. Sing zahmar ·musical praise· to our King, sing zahmar ·musical praise·.

7 ௭ தேவன் பூமியனைத்திற்கும் ராஜா; கருத்துடனே அவரைப் போற்றிப் பாடுங்கள்.

For God is the King of all the earth. Sing zahmar ·musical praise· with understanding.

8 ௮ தேவன் தேசங்களின்மேல் அரசாளுகிறார்; தேவன் தமது பரிசுத்த சிங்காசனத்தின்மேல் அமர்ந்திருக்கிறார்.

God reigns over the nations. God sits on his holy throne.

9 ௯ மக்களின் பிரபுக்கள் ஆபிரகாமின் தேவனுடைய மக்களாகச் சேர்க்கப்படுகிறார்கள்; பூமியின் கேடகங்கள் தேவனுடையவைகள்; அவர் மகா உன்னதமான தேவன்.

The princes of the peoples are gathered together, the people of the God of Abraham [Father of a multitude]. For the shields of the earth belong to God. He is greatly exalted!
