சங்கீதம் 126

1 ௧ ஆரோகண பாடல். சீயோனின் சிறையிருப்பைக் யெகோவா திருப்பி எருசலேமுக்கு கொண்டு வந்தபோது, கனவு காண்கிறவர்கள்போல் இருந்தோம்.

A song for pilgrims going up to Jerusalem. When the Lord brought his people back from captivity to Zion, it was as if we were dreaming!

2 ௨ அப்பொழுது நம்முடைய வாய் சிரிப்பினாலும், நம்முடைய நாவு ஆனந்தசத்தத்தினாலும் நிறைந்திருந்தது; அப்பொழுது: யெகோவா இவர்களுக்குப் பெரிய காரியங்களைச் செய்தார் என்று தேசங்களுக்குள்ளே சொல்லிக்கொண்டார்கள்.

We laughed so much, we sang for joy. The other nations said, “The Lord has done wonderful things for these people.”

3 ௩ யெகோவா நமக்குப் பெரிய காரியங்களைச் செய்தார்; இதற்காக நாம் மகிழ்ந்திருக்கிறோம்.

The Lord certainly has done wonderful things for us. How happy we were!

4 ௪ யெகோவாவே, தெற்கத்திய வெள்ளங்களைத் திருப்புவதுபோல, எங்களுடைய சிறையிருப்பைத் திருப்பும்.

Please return and help us again, Lord. Renew us like streams of water that renew the Negev desert.

5 ௫ கண்ணீரோடு விதைக்கிறவர்கள் கெம்பீரத்தோடு அறுப்பார்கள்.

Those who sow in tears will reap with shouts of joy!

6 ௬ அள்ளித்தூவும் விதையைச் சுமக்கிறவன் அழுதுகொண்டு போகிறான்; ஆனாலும் தான் அறுத்த அரிகளைச் சுமந்துகொண்டு கெம்பீரத்தோடு திரும்பிவருவான்.

Those who weep as they go out to sow their seed will be singing in celebration when they carry the harvest home.
