நீதிமொழிகள் 7

1 ௧ என் மகனே, நீ என்னுடைய வார்த்தைகளைக்காத்து, என்னுடைய கட்டளைகளை உன்னிடத்தில் பத்திரப்படுத்து.

O son my keep words my and commandments my you will treasure with you.

2 ௨ என்னுடைய கட்டளைகளையும் என்னுடைய போதகத்தையும் உன்னுடைய கண்மணியைப்போல் காத்துக்கொள், அப்பொழுது பிழைப்பாய்.

Keep commandments my and live and instruction my like [the] pupil of eyes your.

3 ௩ அவைகளை உன்னுடைய விரல்களில் கட்டி, அவைகளை உன்னுடைய இருதயப்பலகையில் எழுதிக்கொள்.

Bind them on fingers your write them on [the] tablet of heart your.

4 ௪ ஆசைவார்த்தைகளைப் பேசும் அந்நியப் பெண்ணாகிய ஒழுங்கீனமானவளுக்கு உன்னை விலக்கிக் காப்பதற்காக,

Say to wisdom [are] sister my you and a relative to discernment you will call.

5 ௫ ஞானத்தை நோக்கி, நீ என்னுடைய சகோதரி என்றும், புத்தியைப்பார்த்து, நீ என்னுடைய இனத்தைச் சேர்ந்தவள் என்றும் சொல்லு.

To keep you from a woman strange from a foreign [woman] [who] words her she makes smooth.

6 ௬ நான் என்னுடைய வீட்டின் ஜன்னல் அருகே நின்று, அதின் வழியாகப் பார்த்தபோது,

For at [the] window of house my through lattice my I looked down.

7 ௭ பேதையர்களாகிய வாலிபர்களுக்குள்ளே ஒரு புத்தியற்ற வாலிபனைக்கண்டு அவனை கவனித்தேன்.

And I saw among the naive people I observed among the sons a youth lacking of heart.

8 ௮ அவன் மாலைமயங்கும் சூரியன் மறையும் நேரத்திலும், இரவின் இருளிலும்.

[who] was passing by In the street beside corner her and [the] direction of house her he strode.

9 ௯ அவள் இருக்கும் தெருவிற்கு அடுத்த தெருவில் சென்று, அவளுடைய வீட்டுவழியாக நடந்துபோனான்.

At twilight in [the] evening of [the] day in [the] middle of [the] night and darkness.

10 ௧0 அப்பொழுது இதோ, விபசாரியின் ஆடை ஆபரணம் தரித்த தந்திரமனமுள்ள ஒரு பெண் அவனுக்கு எதிர்ப்பட்டாள்.

And there! a woman to meet him [the] garment of a prostitute and guarded of heart.

11 ௧௧ அவள் வாயாடியும் அடங்காதவளுமானவள்; அவளுடைய கால்கள் வீட்டிலே தங்குகிறதில்லை.

[is] boisterous She and rebellious in house her not they stay feet her.

12 ௧௨ சிலவேளை வெளியிலே இருப்பாள், சிலவேளை வீதியில் இருப்பாள், சந்துகள்தோறும் மறைந்திருப்பாள்.

A time - in the street a time in the open places and beside every corner she lies in wait.

13 ௧௩ அவள் அவனைப் பிடித்து முத்தமிட்டு, முகம் நாணாமல் அவனைப் பார்த்து:

And she takes hold on him and she kisses him she has made firm face her and she said to him.

14 ௧௪ சமாதான பலிகள் என்மேல் சுமந்திருந்தது, இன்றைக்குத்தான் என்னுடைய பொருத்தனைகளை நிறைவேற்றினேன்.

Sacrifices of peace offerings [are] on me this day I have paid vows my.

15 ௧௫ ஆதலால், நான் உன்னைச் சந்திக்கப் புறப்பட்டு, உன் முகத்தை ஆவலோடு தேடினேன்; இப்பொழுது உன்னைக் கண்டுபிடித்தேன்.

There-fore I have come out to meet you to seek face your and I have found you.

16 ௧௬ என்னுடைய மெத்தையை இரத்தினக் கம்பளங்களாலும், எகிப்து தேசத்தின் விசித்திரமான மெல்லிய துணிகளாலும் அலங்கரித்தேன்.

Coverings I have spread couch my colored fabrics linen of Egypt.

17 ௧௭ என்னுடைய படுக்கையை வெள்ளைப்போளத்தாலும் சந்தனத்தாலும் இலவங்கப்பட்டையாலும் வாசனையாக்கினேன்.

I have sprinkled bed my myrrh aloes and cinnamon.

18 ௧௮ வா, விடியற்காலைவரைக்கும் சந்தோஷமாக இருப்போம், இன்பங்களினால் பூரிப்போம்.

Come! let us take our fill of love until the morning let us delight ourselves with love.

19 ௧௯ கணவன் வீட்டிலே இல்லை, தூரப்பயணம் போனான்.

For not the husband [is] in house his he has gone on a journey from a distance.

20 ௨0 பணப்பையைத் தன்னுடைய கையிலே கொண்டுபோனான், குறிக்கப்பட்ட நாளிலே வீட்டுக்கு வருவான் என்று சொல்லி,

[the] bag of Money he has taken in hand his to [the] day of the full moon he will come house his.

21 ௨௧ தன்னுடைய மிகுதியான இனிய சொற்களால் அவனை வசப்படுத்தி, தன்னுடைய உதடுகளின் இனிமையான பேச்சால் அவனை இணங்கச்செய்தாள்.

She turns him with [the] greatness of persuasiveness her with [the] seductiveness of lips her she impels him.

22 ௨௨ உடனே அவன் அவள் பின்னே சென்றான்; ஒரு மாடு அடிக்கப்படும்படி செல்வதுபோலவும், ஒரு மூடன் விலங்கிடப்பட்டு தண்டனைக்குப் போவதுபோலவும்,

[he is] walking Behind her suddenly like an ox [which] to [the] slaughter it goes and like an anklet to [the] chastening of a fool.

23 ௨௩ ஒரு குருவி தன்னுடைய உயிரை வாங்கும் கண்ணியை அறியாமல் அதில் விழுவதற்கு விரைந்து போகிறதுபோலவும், அவளுக்குப் பின்னே போனான்; அம்பு அவனுடைய இருதயத்தைப் பிளந்தது.

Until it will pierce an arrow liver his as hurries a bird into a trap and not he knows that [is] for life his it.

24 ௨௪ ஆதலால் பிள்ளைகளே, எனக்குச் செவிகொடுங்கள்; என்னுடைய வாயின் வார்த்தைகளைக் கவனியுங்கள்.

And therefore O children listen to me and be attentive to [the] words of mouth my.

25 ௨௫ உன்னுடைய இருதயம் அவளுடைய வழியிலே சாயவேண்டாம்; அவளுடைய பாதையிலே மயங்கித் திரியாதே.

May not it turn aside to ways her heart your may not it go astray in pathways her.

26 ௨௬ அவள் அநேகரைக் காயப்படுத்தி, விழச்செய்தாள்; பலவான்கள் அநேகரைக் கொலைசெய்தாள்.

For many slain [ones] she has made fall and [are] numerous all killed [men] her.

27 ௨௭ அவளுடைய வீடு பாதாளத்திற்குப்போகும் வழி; அது மரண அறைகளுக்குக் கொண்டுபோய்விடும். (Sheol h7585)

[is] [the] ways of Sheol house her [which] go down to [the] chambers of death. (Sheol h7585)
