நீதிமொழிகள் 25

1 ௧ யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய எசேக்கியாவின் மனிதர்கள் பெயர்த்து எழுதின சாலொமோனுடைய நீதிமொழிகள்:

Also these [are] [the] proverbs of Solomon which they copied [the] men of - Hezekiah [the] king of Judah.

2 ௨ காரியத்தை மறைப்பது தேவனுக்கு மேன்மை; காரியத்தை ஆராய்வதோ ராஜாக்களுக்கு மேன்மை.

[is] [the] glory of God to conceal a matter and [is the] glory of kings to search out a matter.

3 ௩ வானத்தின் உயரமும், பூமியின் ஆழமும், ராஜாக்களின் இருதயங்களும் ஆராய்ந்துமுடியாது.

Heaven for height and earth for depth and [the] heart of kings there not [is] inquiry.

4 ௪ வெள்ளியிலிருந்து கழிவை நீக்கிவிடு, அப்பொழுது கொல்லனால் நல்ல பாத்திரம் வெளிப்படும்.

Remove dross from silver and it came out for the metalsmith a vessel.

5 ௫ ராஜாவின் முன்னின்று துன்மார்க்கர்களை நீக்கிவிடு, அப்பொழுது அவனுடைய சிங்காசனம் நீதியினால் நிலைநிற்கும்.

Remove [the] wicked before a king so it may be established in righteousness throne his.

6 ௬ ராஜாவின் சமுகத்தில் மேன்மைபாராட்டாதே; பெரியோர்களுடைய இடத்தில் நிற்காதே.

May not you claim honor before a king and in [the] place of great [people] may not you stand.

7 ௭ உன் கண்கள் கண்ட பிரபுவின் சமுகத்தில் நீ தாழ்த்தப்படுவது நல்லதல்ல; அவன் உன்னைப் பார்த்து: மேலே வா என்று சொல்வதே உனக்கு மேன்மை.

For [is] better to say to you come up here than to set low you before a noble [person] whom they have seen eyes your.

8 ௮ வழக்காடப் வேகமாகமாகப் போகாதே; முடிவிலே உன்னுடைய அயலான் உன்னை வெட்கப்படுத்தும்போது, நீ என்ன செய்யலாம் என்று திகைப்பாயே.

May not you go forth to contest a lawsuit quickly lest what? will you do at end its when puts to shame you neighbor your.

9 ௯ நீ உன்னுடைய அயலானுடனேமட்டும் உன்னுடைய வழக்கைக்குறித்து வழக்காடு, மற்றவனிடத்தில் இரகசியத்தை வெளிப்படுத்தாதே.

Own case your conduct with neighbor your and [the] secret of another [person] may not you reveal.

10 ௧0 மற்றப்படி அதைக் கேட்கிறவன் உன்னை நிந்திப்பான்; உன்னுடைய அவமானம் உன்னைவிட்டு நீங்காது.

Lest he should bring shame you [one who] hears and evil report your not it will turn back.

11 ௧௧ ஏற்ற நேரத்தில் சொன்ன வார்த்தை வெள்ளித்தட்டில் வைக்கப்பட்ட பொற்பழங்களுக்குச் சமம்.

Apples of gold in settings of silver a word spoken on proper times its.

12 ௧௨ கேட்கிற காதுக்கு, ஞானமாகக் கடிந்துகொண்டு புத்திசொல்லுகிறவன், பொற்கடுக்கனுக்கும் தங்க மோதிரத்திற்கும் சமம்.

An earring of gold and an ornament of pure gold [one who] reproves wise on an ear listening.

13 ௧௩ அறுவடைக்காலத்தில் உறைந்தமழையின் குளிர்ச்சி எப்படியிருக்கிறதோ, அப்படியே உண்மையான தூதுவனும் தன்னை அனுப்பினவனுக்கு இருப்பான்; அவன் தன்னுடைய எஜமான்களுடைய ஆத்துமாவைக் குளிரச்செய்வான்.

[is] like [the] cold of Snow - on a day of harvest an envoy faithful to [those who] sent him and [the] life of masters his he will restore.

14 ௧௪ கொடுப்பேன் என்று சொல்லியும் கொடுக்காமல் இருக்கிற வஞ்சகன் மழையில்லாத மேகங்களுக்கும் காற்றுக்கும் சமம்.

Clouds and wind and [is] rain there not a person [who] boasts in a gift of falsehood.

15 ௧௫ நீண்ட பொறுமையினால் பிரபுவையும் சம்மதிக்கச்செய்யலாம்; இனிய நாவு எலும்பையும் நொறுக்கும்.

By length of anger he will be persuaded a ruler and a tongue soft it will break bone.

16 ௧௬ தேனைக் கண்டுபிடித்தால் அளவாகச் சாப்பிடு; அதிகமாக சாப்பிட்டால் வாந்திபண்ணுவாய்.

Honey you have found eat sufficiency your lest you should be surfeited with it and you will vomit up it.

17 ௧௭ உன்னுடைய அயலான் சலித்து உன்னை வெறுக்காதபடி, அடிக்கடி அவனுடைய வீட்டில் கால்வைக்காதே.

Make rare foot your from [the] house of neighbor your lest he should be surfeited with you and he will hate you.

18 ௧௮ பிறனுக்கு விரோதமாகப் பொய்சாட்சி சொல்லுகிற மனிதன் தண்டாயுதத்திற்கும் வாளிற்கும் கூர்மையான அம்பிற்கும் ஒப்பானவன்.

A war-club and a sword and an arrow sharpened a person [who] testifies against neighbor his a witness of falsehood.

19 ௧௯ ஆபத்துக்காலத்தில் துரோகியை நம்புவது உடைந்த பல்லுக்கும் மூட்டு விலகிய காலுக்கும் சமம்.

A tooth broken and a foot slipped [the] trust of [one who] acts treacherously in a day of trouble.

20 ௨0 மனதுக்கமுள்ளவனுக்குப் பாடல்களைப் பாடுகிறவன், குளிர்காலத்தில் ஆடையை களைகிறவனைப்போலவும், வெடியுப்பின்மேல் ஊற்றிய காடியைப்போலவும் இருப்பான்.

21 ௨௧ உன்னுடைய எதிரிகள் பசியாக இருந்தால், அவனுக்கு சாப்பிட உணவு கொடு; அவன் தாகமாக இருந்தால், குடிக்கத் தண்ணீர் கொடு.

If [is] hungry [one who] hates you give to eat him food and if thirsty give to drink him water.

22 ௨௨ அதினால் அவனை வெட்கப்படுத்துவாய்; யெகோவா உனக்குப் பலனளிப்பார்.

For burning coals you [will] snatch up on head his and Yahweh he will repay to you.

23 ௨௩ வடகாற்று மழையையும், புறங்கூறுகிற நாவு கோபமுகத்தையும் பிறப்பிக்கும்.

A wind of [the] north it brings forth rain and faces indignant a tongue of secrecy.

24 ௨௪ சண்டைக்காரியோடு ஒரு பெரிய வீட்டில் குடியிருப்பதைவிட, வீட்டின்மேல் ஒரு மூலையில் தங்குவதே நலம்.

[is] good To dwell on [the] corner of a roof more than a woman of (contentions *QK) and a house of association.

25 ௨௫ தூரதேசத்திலிருந்து வரும் நற்செய்தி தாகம் மிகுந்த ஆத்துமாவுக்குக் கிடைக்கும் குளிர்ந்த தண்ணீருக்குச் சமம்.

Water cool on a person weary and a report good from a land of distance.

26 ௨௬ துன்மார்க்கர்களுக்கு முன்பாக நீதிமான் தள்ளாடுவது கலங்கின கிணற்றுக்கும் கெட்டுப்போன நீரூற்றுக்கும் ஒப்பாகும்.

A spring fouled and a fountain ruined a righteous [person] [who] sways before a wicked [person].

27 ௨௭ தேனை அதிகமாக சாப்பிடுவது நல்லதல்ல, தற்புகழை நாடுவதும் புகழல்ல.

To eat honey much not [is] good and [the] search of own honor their [is] an honor.

28 ௨௮ தன்னுடைய ஆவியை அடக்காத மனிதன் மதில் இடிந்த பாழான பட்டணம்போல இருக்கிறான்.

A city broken into there not [is] a wall a person whom not control [belongs] to spirit his.
