நீதிமொழிகள் 18

1 ௧ பிரிந்து போகிறவன் தன்னுடைய ஆசையின்படி செய்யப்பார்க்கிறான், எல்லா ஞானத்திலும் தலையிட்டுக் கொள்ளுகிறான்.

Desire he seeks [one who] separates himself on all sound wisdom he bursts out.

2 ௨ மூடன் ஞானத்தில் பிரியம்கொள்ளாமல், தன்னுடைய மனதிலுள்ளவைகளை வெளிப்படுத்தப் பிரியப்படுகிறான்.

Not he delights a fool in understanding that except in revealing itself heart his.

3 ௩ துன்மார்க்கன் வர அவமானம் வரும்; அவமானத்தோடு இகழ்ச்சியும் வரும்.

When comes a wicked [person] it comes also contempt and with shame reproach.

4 ௪ மனிதனுடைய வாய்மொழிகள் ஆழமான தண்ணீர்போல இருக்கும்; ஞானத்தின் ஊற்று பாய்கிற ஆற்றைப்போல இருக்கும்.

[are] waters Deep [the] words of [the] mouth of a person a wadi flowing a fountain of wisdom.

5 ௫ வழக்கிலே நீதிமானைத் தோற்கடிக்கிறதற்கு, துன்மார்க்கனுக்கு பாரபட்சம் செய்வது நல்லதல்ல.

To lift up [the] face of a wicked [person] not [is] good to turn aside a righteous [person] in judgment.

6 ௬ மூடனுடைய உதடுகள் விவாதத்தில் நுழையும், அவனுடைய வாய் அடிகளை வரவழைக்கும்.

[the] lips of A fool they go in strife and mouth his for blows it calls.

7 ௭ மூடனுடைய வாய் அவனுக்குக் கேடு, அவனுடைய உதடுகள் அவனுடைய ஆத்துமாவுக்குக் கண்ணி.

[the] mouth of A fool [is] ruin of him and lips his [are] [the] snare of life his.

8 ௮ கோள்சொல்கிறவனுடைய வார்த்தைகள் விளையாட்டுப்போல இருக்கும், ஆனாலும் அவைகள் உள்ளத்திற்குள் குத்தும்.

[the] words of A slanderer [are] like delicacies and they they go down [the] chambers of [the] belly.

9 ௯ தன்னுடைய வேலையில் அசதியாக இருப்பவன் அனைத்தையும் அழிப்பவனுக்குச் சகோதரன்.

Also [one who] shows himself idle in work his [is] a brother he of a master of destruction.

10 ௧0 யெகோவாவின் நாமம் மிகவும் பலத்த கோட்டை; நீதிமான் அதற்குள் ஓடி சுகமாக இருப்பான்.

[is] a tower of Strength [the] name of Yahweh in it he runs a righteous [person] and he is set on high.

11 ௧௧ செல்வந்தனுடைய பொருள் அவனுக்கு பாதுகாப்பான பட்டணம்; அது அவனுடைய எண்ணத்தில் உயர்ந்த மதில்போல இருக்கும்.

[the] wealth of A rich [person] [is] [the] town of strength his and like a wall high in own imagination his.

12 ௧௨ அழிவு வருமுன்பு மனிதனுடைய இருதயம் இறுமாப்பாக இருக்கும்; மேன்மைக்கு முன்னானது தாழ்மை.

Before destruction it is haughty [the] heart of a person and [is] before honor humility.

13 ௧௩ காரியத்தைக் கேட்பதற்குமுன் பதில் சொல்லுகிறவனுக்கு, அது புத்தியீனமும் வெட்கமுமாக இருக்கும்.

[one who] brings back A word before he listens [is] folly it of him and ignominy.

14 ௧௪ மனிதனுடைய ஆவி அவனுடைய பலவீனத்தைத் தாங்கும்; முறிந்த ஆவி யாரால் தாங்கக்கூடும்?

[the] spirit of A person it will endure sickness his and a spirit stricken who? will he bear it.

15 ௧௫ புத்திமானுடைய மனம் அறிவைச் சம்பாதிக்கும்; ஞானியின் செவி அறிவை நாடும்.

A heart discerning it acquires knowledge and [the] ear of wise [people] it seeks knowledge.

16 ௧௬ ஒருவன் கொடுக்கும் வெகுமதி அவனுக்கு வழி உண்டாக்கி, பெரியோர்களுக்கு முன்பாக அவனைக் கொண்டுபோய்விடும்.

[the] gift of A person it makes space for him and before great [people] it leads him.

17 ௧௭ தன்னுடைய வழக்கிலே முதலில் பேசுகிறவன் நீதிமான்போல் காணப்படுவான்; அவனுடைய அயலானோ வந்து அவனை பரிசோதிக்கிறான்.

[is] righteous The first in case his (and he will come *QK) neighbor his and he will examine him.

18 ௧௮ சீட்டுப்போடுதல் விரோதங்களை ஒழித்து, பலவான்கள் நடுவே நியாயம்தீர்க்கும்.

Contentions it puts an end to the lot and between mighty [people] it separates.

19 ௧௯ பாதுகாப்பான பட்டணத்தை வசப்படுத்துவதைவிட கோபம்கொண்ட சகோதரனை வசப்படுத்துவது கடினம்; அவர்களுடைய விரோதங்கள் கோட்டைத் தாழ்ப்பாள்கள்போல இருக்கும்.

A brother transgressed [is] more than a town of strength (and contentions *QK) [are] like [the] bar of a fortress.

20 ௨0 அவனவன் வாயின் பலனால் அவனவன் வயிறு நிரம்பும்; அவனவன் உதடுகளின் விளைவினால் அவனவன் திருப்தியாவான்.

From [the] fruit of [the] mouth of a person it is satisfied belly his [the] produce of lips his he is satisfied.

21 ௨௧ மரணமும், ஜீவனும் நாவின் அதிகாரத்தில் இருக்கும்; அதில் பிரியப்படுகிறவர்கள் அதின் கனியைச் சாப்பிடுவார்கள்.

Death and life [are] in [the] hand of [the] tongue and [those who] love it he will eat fruit its.

22 ௨௨ மனைவியைக் கண்டடைகிறவன் நன்மையானதைக் கண்டடைகிறான்; யெகோவாவால் தயவையும் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிறான்.

He finds a wife he finds a good thing and he obtained pleasure from Yahweh.

23 ௨௩ தரித்திரன் கெஞ்சிக்கேட்கிறான்; செல்வந்தன் கடினமாக உத்திரவுகொடுக்கிறான்.

Supplications he speaks a poor [person] and a rich [person] he answers strong [words].

24 ௨௪ நண்பர்கள் உள்ளவன் நேசிக்கவேண்டும்; சகோதரனைவிட அதிக சொந்தமாக நேசிக்கப்படுபவனும் உண்டு.

A person of companions [is] to be broken and there [is one who] loves cleaving more than a brother.
