எண்ணாகமம் 34

1 ௧ யெகோவா மோசேயை நோக்கி:

The Lord told Moses,

2 ௨ நீ இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டுச் சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: கானான்தேசம் அதின் எல்லைகள் உட்பட உங்களுக்குச் சுதந்தரமாகக் கிடைக்கப்போகிறது; நீங்கள் கானான்தேசத்தில் சேரும்போது,

“Give this command to the Israelites: ‘When you enter the country of Canaan, it will be allocated to you to own with the following boundaries:

3 ௩ உங்கள் தென்புறம் சீன்வனாந்திரம் துவங்கி ஏதோம் தேசத்தின் ஓரம்வரை இருக்கும்; கிழக்கே இருக்கிற சவக்கடலின் கடைசி துவங்கி உங்களுடைய தென் எல்லையாக இருக்கும்.

The southern extent of your country will be from the Desert of Zin along the border of Edom. Your southern border will run east from the end of the Dead Sea,

4 ௪ உங்களுடைய எல்லை தெற்கிலிருந்து அக்கராபீம் மேடுகளைச் சுற்றி, சீன்வனாந்திரம் வரையில் போய், தெற்கிலே காதேஸ்பர்னேயாவுக்கும், அங்கேயிருந்து ஆத்சார் ஆதாருக்கும், அங்கேயிருந்து அஸ்மோனாவுக்கும் போய்,

cross south of Scorpion Pass, on to Zin, and reach its southern limit south of Kadesh-barnea. Then it will go to Hazar-addar and on to Azmon.

5 ௫ அஸ்மோனாவிலிருந்து எகிப்தின் நதிவரைக்கும் சுற்றிப்போய்க் மத்திய தரைக் கடலில் முடியும்.

There the boundary will turn from Azmon to the Wadi of Egypt, ending at the Mediterranean Sea.

6 ௬ மேற்கு திசைக்குப் மத்தியதரைக் கடலே உங்களுக்கு எல்லை; அதுவே உங்களுக்கு மேற்கு புறத்து எல்லையாக இருக்கும்.

Your western border will be the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. This is to be your boundary to the west.

7 ௭ உங்களுக்கு வடதிசை எல்லை மத்தியதரைக் கடல் துவங்கி, ஓர் என்னும் மலையை உங்களுக்குக் குறிப்பாக வைத்து,

Your northern border will run from the Mediterranean Sea straight to Mount Hor.

8 ௮ ஓர் என்னும் மலை துவங்கி, ஆமாத்திற்குப் போகிற வழியைக் குறிப்பாக வைத்து, அங்கேயிருந்து அந்த எல்லை சேதாத்திற்குப் போய்,

From Mount Hor the boundary will go to Lebo-hamath, then on to Zedad,

9 ௯ அங்கேயிருந்து அது சிப்ரோனுக்குப் போய், ஆத்சார் ஏனானிலே முடியும்; அதுவே உங்களுக்கு வடபுறத்து எல்லையாக இருக்கும்.

to Ziphron, ending at Hazar-enan. This will be your boundary to the north.

10 ௧0 உங்களுக்குக் கிழக்குத்திசை எல்லைக்கு ஆத்சார் ஏனானிலிருந்து சேப்பாமைக் குறிப்பாக வைத்து,

Your eastern border will run straight from Hazar-enan to Shepham

11 ௧௧ சேப்பாமிலிருந்து எல்லையானது ஆயினுக்குக் கிழக்கிலுள்ள ரிப்லாவரையும், அங்கேயிருந்து கலிலேயா கடல் வரையும் அதின் கிழக்குக் கரையோரமாக,

Then the boundary will go down from Shepham to Riblah on the east side of Ain. It will pass down along the slopes east of the Sea of Galilee.

12 ௧௨ அங்கேயிருந்து யோர்தான் நதி வரையும் போய், சவக்கடலில் முடியும்; இந்தச் சுற்று எல்லைகளையுடைய தேசமே உங்களுக்குரிய தேசம் என்று சொல்” என்றார்.

Then the boundary will go down along the Jordan, ending at the Dead Sea. This is to be your land with its surrounding borders.’”

13 ௧௩ அப்பொழுது மோசே இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களை நோக்கி: ஒன்பதரைக் கோத்திரத்தாருக்குக் கொடுக்கும்படி யெகோவா கட்டளையிட்டதும், நீங்கள் சீட்டுப்போட்டுச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ளவேண்டியதுமான தேசம் இதுவே.

Moses gave the order to the Israelites, “Allocate ownership of this land by lot. The Lord has commanded it to be given to the nine and a half tribes.

14 ௧௪ ரூபன் சந்ததியர்கள் தங்கள் முன்னோர்களுடைய வம்சத்தின்படியும், காத் சந்ததியர்கள் தங்கள் முன்னோர்களுடைய வம்சத்தின்படியும், தங்களுடைய சுதந்தரத்தைப் பெற்றுக்கொண்டதும் அல்லாமல், மனாசேயின் பாதிக் கோத்திரத்தாரும் தங்களுடைய சுதந்தரத்தைப் பெற்றுக்கொண்டார்கள்.

The tribes of Reuben and Gad, together with the half-tribe of Manasseh, have already received their allocation.

15 ௧௫ இந்த இரண்டரைக் கோத்திரத்தாரும் சூரியோதய திசையாகிய கிழக்கே எரிகோவின் அருகிலுள்ள யோர்தானுக்கு இப்புறத்திலே தங்களுடைய சுகந்தரத்தைப் பெற்றுக்கொண்டார்கள்” என்றான்.

These two and a half tribes have received their allocation on the east side of the Jordan opposite Jericho.”

16 ௧௬ மேலும் யெகோவா மோசேயை நோக்கி:

The Lord told Moses,

17 ௧௭ உங்களுக்கு தேசத்தைப் பங்கிட்டுக் கொடுக்கும் மனிதர்களின் பெயர்களாவன: “ஆசாரியனாகிய எலெயாசாரும், நூனின் மகனாகிய யோசுவாவுமே.

“These are the names of the men who will be in charge of allocating ownership of the land for you: Eleazar the priest and Joshua, son of Nun.

18 ௧௮ அன்றியும், தேசத்தைப் பங்கிடும்படி ஒவ்வொரு கோத்திரத்தில் ஒவ்வொரு தலைவனையும் தெரிந்துகொள்ளுங்கள்.

Have one leader from each tribe help in the distribution of the land.

19 ௧௯ அந்த மனிதர்களுடைய பெயர்களாவன: யூதா கோத்திரத்திற்கு எப்புன்னேயின் மகனாகிய காலேபும்,

These are their names: From the tribe of Judah: Caleb, son of Jephunneh.

20 ௨0 சிமியோன் சந்ததியாரும் கோத்திரத்திற்கு அம்மியூதின் மகனாகிய சாமுவேலும்,

From the tribe of Simeon: Shemuel, son of Ammihud.

21 ௨௧ பென்யமீன் கோத்திரத்திற்குக் கிஸ்லோனின் மகனாகிய எலிதாதும்,

From the tribe of Benjamin: Elidad, son of Chislon.

22 ௨௨ தாண் சந்ததியாரின் கோத்திரத்திற்கு யொக்லியின் மகனாகிய புக்கி என்னும் பிரபுவும்,

A leader from the tribe of Dan: Bukki, son of Jogli.

23 ௨௩ யோசேப்பின் மகனாகிய மனாசே சந்ததியாரின் கோத்திரத்திற்கு எபோதின் மகனாகிய அன்னியேல் என்னும் பிரபுவும்,

A leader from the tribe of Manasseh, son of Joseph: Hanniel son of Ephod.

24 ௨௪ எப்பிராயீம் சந்ததியாரின் கோத்திரத்திற்கு சிப்தானின் மகனாகிய கேமுவேல் என்னும் பிரபுவும்,

A leader from the tribe of Ephraim: Kemuel, son of Shiphtan.

25 ௨௫ செபுலோன் சந்ததியாரின் கோத்திரத்திற்கு பர்னாகின் மகனாகிய எலிசாபான் என்னும் பிரபுவும்,

A leader from the tribe of Zebulun: Eli-zaphan, son of Parnach.

26 ௨௬ இசக்கார் சந்ததியாரின் கோத்திரத்திற்கு ஆசானின் மகனாகிய பல்த்தியேல் என்னும் பிரபுவும்,

A leader from the tribe of Issachar: Paltiel, son of Azzan.

27 ௨௭ ஆசேர் சந்ததியாரின் கோத்திரத்திற்கு சேலோமியின் மகனாகிய அகியூத் என்னும் பிரபுவும்,

A leader from the tribe of Asher: Ahihud, son of Shelomi.

28 ௨௮ நப்தலி சந்ததியாரின் கோத்திரத்திற்கு அம்மியூதின் மகனாகிய, பெதாக்கேல் என்னும் பிரபுவுமே” என்றார்.

A leader from the tribe of Naphtali: Pedahel, son of Ammihud.”

29 ௨௯ கானான்தேசத்திலே இஸ்ரவேல் கோத்திரங்களுக்குச் சுதந்தரங்களைப் பங்கிட்டுக் கொடுக்கிறதற்குக் யெகோவா கட்டளையிட்டவர்கள் இவர்களே.

These are the names of those the Lord put in charge of allocating land ownership in the country of Canaan.
