நெகேமியா 2
1 ௧ அர்தசஷ்டா ராஜாவின் இருபதாம் வருட ஆட்சியின் நிசான் மாதத்திலே, திராட்சைரசம் ராஜாவிற்கு முன்பாக வைத்திருக்கும்போது, நான் அதை எடுத்து அவருக்குக் கொடுத்தேன்; நான் முன்பு ஒருபோதும் அவருக்கு முன்பாக துக்கமாக இருந்ததில்லை.
And it was - in [the] month of Nisan year twenty of Artaxerxes the king wine [was] before him and I took the wine and I gave [it]! to the king and not I had been sad before him.
2 ௨ அப்பொழுது ராஜா என்னைப் பார்த்து: நீ துக்கமுகமாக இருக்கிறது என்ன? உனக்கு வியாதியில்லையே, இது மனதின் துக்கமே தவிர வேறொன்றும் இல்லை என்றார்; அப்பொழுது நான் மிகவும் பயந்து,
And he said to me the king why? - [is] face your sad and you not you [are] sick [is] nothing this that except sadness of heart and I was afraid greatly very.
3 ௩ ராஜாவை நோக்கி: ராஜா என்றைக்கும் வாழ்க; என்னுடைய தகப்பன்மார்களின் கல்லறைகள் இருக்கும் இடமாகிய நகரம் பாழானதும், அதின் வாசல்கள் அக்கினியால் சுட்டெரிக்கப்பட்டும் கிடக்கும்போது, நான் துக்கமுகத்தோடு இல்லாமல் இருப்பது எப்படி என்றேன்.
And I said to the king the king for ever may he live why? not will they be sad face my that the city [the] house of [the] tombs of ancestors my [is] desolate and gates its they have been consumed by fire.
4 ௪ அப்பொழுது ராஜா என்னைப் பார்த்து: நீ கேட்கிற காரியம் என்ன என்றார். அப்பொழுது நான்: பரலோகத்தின் தேவனை நோக்கி ஜெபம்செய்து,
And he said to me the king on what? this [are] you requesting and I prayed to [the] God of the heavens.
5 ௫ ராஜாவைப் பார்த்து: ராஜாவிற்கு விருப்பமாயிருந்து, அடியேனுக்கு உமது முன்னிலையில் தயவு கிடைத்ததானால், என்னுடைய தகப்பன்மார்களின் கல்லறைகள் இருக்கும் பட்டணத்தைக் கட்டுவதற்கு, யூதா தேசத்திற்கு நீர் என்னை அனுப்ப வேண்டிக்கொள்ளுகிறேன் என்றேன்.
And I said to the king if [is] on the king good and if he is good servant your before you that you will send me to Judah to [the] city of [the] tombs of ancestors my and I will rebuild it.
6 ௬ அப்பொழுது ராணியும், பக்கத்தில் உட்கார்ந்திருந்தாள். ராஜா என்னைப் பார்த்து: உன்னுடைய பிரயாணத்திற்கு எத்தனை நாட்கள் ஆகும், நீ எப்பொழுது திரும்பி வருவாய் என்று கேட்டார். இவ்வளவுநாட்கள் ஆகுமென்று நான் ராஜாவிற்குச் சொன்னபோது, என்னை அனுப்ப அவருக்கு விருப்பமானது.
And he said to me the king and the queen-consort - [was] sitting beside him until when? will it be journey your and when? will you return and it was good before the king and he sent me and I gave! to him a time.
7 ௭ பின்னும் நான் ராஜாவைப் பார்த்து: ராஜாவிற்கு விருப்பமாயிருந்தால், நான் யூதா தேசத்திற்குப்போய்ச் சேரும்வரை, நதிக்கு மறுபுறத்திலிருக்கிற ஆளுநர்கள் நான் போக அனுமதியளிக்கவும் அவர்களுக்கு நான் கடிதங்கள் கொடுப்பதற்காகவும்,
And I said to the king if [is] on the king good letters let people give to me to [the] governors of beyond the River that they will allow to pass through me until that I will come to Judah.
8 ௮ தேவாலயத்தில் இருக்கிற கோட்டையின் கதவு வேலைக்கும், நகரமதிலின் வேலைக்கும், நான் தங்கப்போகிற வீட்டின் வேலைக்கும் வேண்டிய மரங்களை ராஜாவின் வனக் காவலாளனாகிய ஆசாப் எனக்குக் கொடுப்பதற்காகவும், அவனுக்கும் ஒரு கடிதம் கட்டளையிடப்படுவதாக என்றேன்; என் தேவனுடைய தயவுள்ள கரம் என்மேல் இருந்ததால், ராஜா அவைகளை எனக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டார்.
And a letter to Asaph [the] keeper of the forest which [belongs] to the king that he will give to me wood to make beams for [the] gates of the citadel which [belongs] to the house and for [the] wall of the city and for the house which I will go into it and he gave [them] to me the king according to [the] hand of God my good on me.
9 ௯ அப்படியே நான் நதிக்கு மறுபுறத்திலிருக்கிற ஆளுநர்களிடத்திற்கு வந்து, ராஜாவின் கடிதங்களை அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தேன்; ராஜா என்னோடு இராணுவ அதிகாரிகளையும், குதிரைவீரர்களையும் அனுப்பியிருந்தார்.
And I went to [the] governors of beyond the River and I gave! to them [the] letters of the king and he had sent with me the king commanders of [the] army and horsemen.
10 ௧0 இதை ஓரோனிய பட்டணத்து வாசியாகிய சன்பல்லாத்தும், அம்மோனியனான தொபியா என்னும் ஊழியக்காரனும் கேட்டபோது, இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களின் நன்மையை விசாரிக்க ஒருவன் வந்தான் என்பது அவர்களுக்கு மிகவும் கோபமாக இருந்தது.
And he heard Sanballat the Horonite and Tobiah the servant the Ammonite and it was displeasing to them displeasure great that he had come someone to seek good for [the] people of Israel.
And I came to Jerusalem and I was there days three.
12 ௧௨ நான் சில மனிதர்களைக் கூட்டிக்கொண்டு, இரவில் எழுந்து நகரத்தைச் சோதனை செய்தேன்; ஆனாலும் எருசலேமிற்காகச் செய்யவேண்டிய காரியத்தை என்னுடைய தேவன் என்னுடைய மனதிலே வைத்ததை நான் ஒருவருக்கும் தெரிவிக்கவில்லை; நான் ஏறிப்போன மிருகத்தைத் தவிர வேறொரு மிருகமும் என்னுடன் இருந்ததில்லை.
And I arose - night I and men - a few with me and not I had told to anyone what? [was] God my putting into heart my to do for Jerusalem and an animal there not [was] with me that except the animal which I [was] riding on it.
13 ௧௩ நான் அன்று இரவு பள்ளத்தாக்கின் வாசல் வழியாகப் புறப்பட்டு, வலுசர்ப்பக் கிணற்றைக் கடந்து, குப்பைமேட்டு வாசலுக்கு வந்து, எருசலேமில் இடிந்துபோன மதிலையும், அக்கினியால் சுட்டெரிக்கப்பட்ட அதின் வாசல்களையும் பார்வையிட்டேன்.
And I went out! by [the] gate of the valley night and to [the] face [the] Well of [the] Dragons and to [the] gate of the dung and I was examining [the] walls of Jerusalem which (they - [were] broken down *QKB) and gates its they had been consumed by fire.
14 ௧௪ அந்த இடத்தைவிட்டு ஊற்றுவாசல் அருகிலும், ராஜாவின் குளத்தின் அருகிலும் போனேன்; நான் ஏறியிருந்த மிருகம் அங்கே நடந்துபோவதற்கு வழி இல்லாதிருந்தது.
And I passed on to [the] gate of the spring and to [the] pool of the king and there not [was] room for the animal to pass through under me.
15 ௧௫ அன்று இரவிலேயே நான் ஆற்றோரமாகப் போய், மதிலைப் பார்வையிட்டுத் திரும்பி, பள்ளத்தாக்கின் வாசல்வழியாக வந்துவிட்டேன்.
And I was going up in the wadi night and I was examining the wall and I turned back and I went in [the] gate of the valley and I returned.
16 ௧௬ நான் போனதும், நான் செய்ததும் அதிகாரிகள் ஒருவருக்கும் தெரியாது; அதுவரையிலும் நான் யூதருக்காவது, ஆசாரியர்கள் பெரியவர்கள் அதிகாரிகளுக்காவது, வேலைசெய்கிற மற்றவர்களுக்காவது ஒன்றும் தெரிவிக்கவில்லை.
And the officials not they knew where? had I gone and what? [was] I doing and to the Jews and to the priests and to the nobles and to the officials and to [the] rest [who was] doing the work until thus not I had told.
17 ௧௭ பின்பு நான் அவர்களை நோக்கி: எருசலேம் பாழாயிருப்பதையும், அதின் வாசல்கள் அக்கினியால் சுட்டெரிக்கப்பட்டுக்கிடப்பதையும், நாம் இருக்கிற சிறுமையையும் பார்க்கிறீர்களே; நாம் இனி அவமானம் அடையாமலிருக்க, எருசலேமின் மதிலைக் கட்டுவோம் வாருங்கள் என்று சொல்லி,
And I said to them you [are] seeing the trouble which we [are] in it that Jerusalem [is] desolate and gates its they have been burned with fire come so we may rebuild [the] wall of Jerusalem and not we will be again a reproach.
18 ௧௮ என் தேவனுடைய கரம் என்மேல் நன்மையாக இருப்பதையும், ராஜா என்னோடு சொன்ன வார்த்தைகளையும் அவர்களுக்கு தெரிவித்தேன்; அப்பொழுது அவர்கள்: எழுந்து கட்டுவோம் வாருங்கள் என்று சொல்லி, அந்த நல்ல வேலைக்குத் தங்கள் கைகளை பலப்படுத்தினார்கள்.
And I told to them [about] [the] hand of God my that it [was] good on me and also [the] words of the king which he had spoken to me and they said let us arise and we will rebuild and they strengthened hands their for good.
19 ௧௯ ஓரோனியனான சன்பல்லாத்தும், அம்மோனியனான தொபியா என்னும் ஊழியக்காரனும், அரபியனான கேஷேமும் இதைக் கேட்டபோது, எங்களை கேலிசெய்து, எங்களை அவமதித்து: நீங்கள் செய்கிற இந்தக் காரியம் என்ன? நீங்கள் ராஜாவிற்கு விரோதமாகக் கலகம் செய்யப்போகிறீர்களோ என்றார்கள்.
And he heard Sanballat the Horonite and Tobiah - the servant the Ammonite and Geshem the Arab and they mocked us and they despised us and they said what? [is] the thing this which you [are] doing ¿ on the king [are] you rebelling.
20 ௨0 அதற்கு நான் மறுமொழியாக: பரலோகத்தின் தேவனானவர் எங்களுக்குக் காரியத்தைக் கைகூடிவரச்செய்வார்; அவருடைய ஊழியக்காரர்களாகிய நாங்கள் எழுந்து கட்டுவோம்; உங்களுக்கோ எருசலேமிலே பங்குமில்லை பாத்தியமுமில்லை; உங்கள் பெயர்சொல்லப்பட ஒன்றும் இல்லையென்று அவர்களிடம் சொன்னேன்.
And I brought back them word and I said to them [the] God of the heavens he he will grant success to us and we servants his we will arise and we will rebuild and [belongs] to you not a share and a right and a memorial in Jerusalem.
