லேவியராகமம் 19
Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out], saying,
2 ௨ “நீ இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களின் சபை அனைத்தோடும் சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: உங்கள் தேவனும் யெகோவாவாகிய நான் பரிசுத்தர், ஆகையால் நீங்களும் பரிசுத்தராக இருங்கள்.
“Speak to all the congregation of the children of Israel [God prevails], and tell them, ‘You shall be holy; for I, Adonai your God, am holy.
3 ௩ உங்களில் அவனவன் தன்தன் தாய்க்கும் தகப்பனுக்கும் பயந்திருக்கவும், என் ஓய்வு நாட்களை அனுசரிக்கவும்கடவீர்கள்; நான் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய யெகோவா.
“‘Each one of you shall respect his mother and his father. You shall keep my Sabbaths. I am Adonai your God.
4 ௪ சிலைகளை நாடாமலும், வார்ப்பிக்கப்பட்ட தெய்வங்களை உங்களுக்கு உண்டாக்காமலும் இருப்பீர்களாக; நான் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய யெகோவா.
“‘Don’t turn to idols, nor make molten deities for yourselves. I am Adonai your God.
“‘When you offer a sacrifice of peace offerings to Adonai, you shall offer it so that you may be accepted.
6 ௬ நீங்கள் அதைச் செலுத்துகிற நாளிலும் மறுநாளிலும் அதைச் சாப்பிடவேண்டும்; மூன்றாம் நாள்வரை மீதியானது நெருப்பிலே சுட்டெரிக்கப்படக்கடவது.
It shall be eaten the same day you offer it, and on the next day: and if anything remains until the third day, it shall be burned with fire.
7 ௭ மூன்றாம் நாளில் அதில் எதையாகிலும் சாப்பிட்டால் அருவருப்பாயிருக்கும்; அது அங்கீகரிக்கப்படமாட்டாது.
If it is eaten at all on the third day, it is an abomination. It will not be accepted;
8 ௮ அதைச் சாப்பிடுகிறவன் யெகோவாவுக்குப் பரிசுத்தமானதைப் பரிசுத்தக்குலைச்சலாக்கினதினால் அவன் தன் அக்கிரமத்தைச் சுமந்து, தன் மக்களுக்குள் இல்லாதபடி அறுப்புண்டுபோவான்.
but everyone who eats it shall bear his iniquity, because he has profaned the holy thing of Adonai, and that soul shall be cut off from his people.
9 ௯ “நீங்கள் தேசத்தின் பயிரை அறுக்கும்போது, உன் வயலின் ஓரத்தில் இருக்கிறதை முற்றிலும் அறுக்காமலும், சிந்திக்கிடக்கிற கதிர்களைப் பொறுக்காமலும்,
“‘When you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not wholly reap the corners of your field, neither shall you gather the gleanings of your harvest.
10 ௧0 உன் திராட்சைத்தோட்டத்திலே பின் அறுப்பை அறுக்காமலும், அதிலே சிந்திக்கிடக்கிற பழங்களைப் பொறுக்காமலும், அவைகளை ஏழைகளுக்கும் பரதேசிக்கும் விட்டுவிடுவாயாக; நான் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய யெகோவா.
You shall not glean your vineyard, neither shall you gather the fallen grapes of your vineyard. You shall leave them for the poor and for the foreigner. I am Adonai your God.
“‘You shall not steal from, defraud, or lie to one another.
12 ௧௨ என் நாமத்தைக்கொண்டு பொய்யாணையிடுகிறதினால், உங்கள் தேவனுடைய நாமத்தைப் பரிசுத்தக் குலைச்சலாக்காமலும் இருப்பீர்களாக; நான் யெகோவா.
“‘You shall not swear by my name falsely, and profane the name of your God. I am Adonai.
13 ௧௩ “பிறனை ஒடுக்காமலும் கொள்ளையிடாமலும் இருப்பாயாக; கூலிக்காரனுடைய கூலி விடியற்காலம்வரை உன்னிடத்தில் இருக்கக்கூடாது.
“‘You shall not oppress your neighbor, nor rob him. “‘The wages of a hired servant shall not remain with you all night until the morning.
14 ௧௪ செவிடனை நிந்திக்காமலும், குருடனுக்கு முன்னே தடைகளை வைக்காமலும், உன் தேவனுக்குப் பயந்திருப்பாயாக; நான் யெகோவா.
“‘You shall not curse the deaf, nor put a stumbling block before the blind; but you shall fear your God. I am Adonai.
15 ௧௫ “நியாயவிசாரணையில் அநியாயம் செய்யாதிருங்கள்; சிறியவனுக்கு முகதாட்சிணியம் செய்யாமலும், பெரியவனுடைய முகத்திற்கு பயப்படாமலும், நீதியாகப் பிறனுக்கு நியாயந்தீர்ப்பாயாக.
“‘You shall do no injustice in judgment. You shall not be partial to the poor, nor show favoritism to the great; but you shall judge your neighbor uprightly.
16 ௧௬ உன் மக்களுக்குள்ளே அங்கும் இங்கும் கோள்சொல்லித் திரியாதே; பிறனுடைய இரத்தப்பழிக்கு உட்படவேண்டாம்; நான் யெகோவா.
“‘You shall not go up and down as a slanderer among your people. “‘You shall not endanger the life of your neighbor. I am Adonai.
17 ௧௭ “உன் சகோதரனை உன் உள்ளத்தில் பகைக்காதே; பிறன்மேல் பாவம் சுமராதபடி அவனை எப்படியும் கடிந்து கொள்ளவேண்டும்.
“‘You shall not hate your brother in your heart. You shall surely rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him.
18 ௧௮ பழிக்குப்பழி வாங்காமலும் உன் மக்கள்மேல் பொறாமைகொள்ளாமலும், உன்னில் நீ அன்புகூறுவதுபோல் பிறனிலும் அன்புகூருவாயாக; நான் யெகோவா.
“‘You shall not take vengeance or revenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people; but you shall 'ahav ·affectionately love· your neighbor as yourself. I am Adonai.
19 ௧௯ “என் கட்டளைகளைக் கைக்கொள்வீர்களாக; உன் மிருகங்களை வேறு இனத்தோடே பெருகச்செய்யாதே; உன் வயலிலே வெவ்வேறு வகையான விதைகளைக் கலந்து விதைக்காதே; சணல்நூலும் கம்பளிநூலும் கலந்த உடையை அணியாதே
“‘You shall keep my regulations. “‘You shall not cross-breed different kinds of animals. “‘You shall not sow your field with two kinds of seed; “‘Don’t wear a garment made of two kinds of material.
20 ௨0 “ஒருவனுக்கு அடிமையானவள் ஒரு ஆணுக்கு நியமிக்கப்பட்டவளாக இருந்து, முற்றிலும் மீட்கப்படாமலும் தன்னிச்சையாக விடப்படாமலுமிருக்க, அவளோடே ஒருவன் காம உணர்வுடன் உடலுறவுகொண்டால், அவர்கள் கொலை செய்யப்படாமல், அடிக்கப்படவேண்டும்; அவள் சுதந்திரமுள்ளவள் அல்ல.
“‘If a man lies carnally with a woman who is a slave girl, pledged to be married to another man, and not ransomed, or given her freedom; they shall be punished. They shall not be put to death, because she was not free.
21 ௨௧ அவன் தன் குற்றநிவாரணபலியாக ஆசரிப்புக்கூடாரத்தின் வாசலிலே யெகோவாவுடைய சந்நிதியில் ஒரு ஆட்டுக்கடாவைக் கொண்டுவரக்கடவன்.
He shall bring his trespass offering to Adonai, to the door of the Tent of Meeting, even a ram for a trespass offering.
22 ௨௨ அதினாலே ஆசாரியன் அவன் செய்த பாவத்தினிமித்தம் அவனுக்காகக் யெகோவாவுடைய சந்நிதியில் பாவநிவிர்த்தி செய்யக்கடவன்; அப்பொழுது அவன் செய்த பாவம் அவனுக்கு மன்னிக்கப்படும்.
The priest shall make atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering before Adonai for his sin which he has committed: and the sin which he has committed shall be forgiven him.
23 ௨௩ “நீங்கள் அந்த தேசத்தில் வந்து, சாப்பிடத்தக்க பழங்களைத் தருகிற பலவித மரங்களை நாட்டினபின்பு அவைகளின் பழங்களை விருத்தசேதனம் இல்லாதவைகளென்று கருதுவீர்களாக; மூன்று வருடங்கள் அது சாப்பிடப்படாமல், விருத்தசேதனம் இல்லாததாக உங்களுக்கு கருதப்படவேண்டும்.
“‘When you come into the land, and have planted all kinds of trees for food, then you shall count their fruit as forbidden. Three years they shall be forbidden to you. It shall not be eaten.
24 ௨௪ பின்பு நான்காம் வருடத்திலே அவைகளின் பழங்களெல்லாம் யெகோவாவுக்குத் துதிசெலுத்துகிறதற்கேற்ற பரிசுத்தமாக இருக்கும்.
But in the fourth year all its fruit shall be holy, for giving praise to Adonai.
25 ௨௫ ஐந்தாம் வருடத்திலே அவைகளின் பழங்களைச் சாப்பிடலாம்; இப்படி அவைகளின் பலன் உங்களுக்குப் பெருகும்; நான் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய யெகோவா.
In the fifth year you shall eat its fruit, that it may yield its increase to you. I am Adonai your God.
“‘You shall not eat any meat with the blood still in it. You shall not use enchantments, nor practice sorcery.
“‘You shall not cut the hair on the sides of your head or clip off the edge of your beard.
28 ௨௮ செத்தவனுக்காக உங்கள் உடலைக் கீறிக்கொள்ளாமலும், அடையாளமான எழுத்துக்களை உங்கள்மேல் குத்திக்கொள்ளாமலும் இருப்பீர்களாக; நான் யெகோவா.
“‘You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor tattoo any marks on you. I am Adonai.
29 ௨௯ “தேசத்தார் வேசித்தனம்செய்து தேசமெங்கும் முறைகேடான பாவம் நிறையாதபடி உன் மகளை வேசித்தனம்செய்ய விடுகிறதினாலே பரிசுத்தக் குலைச்சலாக்காதே.
“‘Don’t profane your daughter, to make her a prostitute; lest the land fall to prostitution, and the land become full of wickedness.
30 ௩0 என் ஓய்வுநாட்களை அனுசரித்து, என் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தைக்குறித்துப் பயபக்தியாக இருப்பீர்களாக; நான் யெகோவா.
“‘You shall keep my Sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary; I am Adonai.
31 ௩௧ “மாந்திரீகம் செய்கிறவர்களை நாடி, குறிசொல்லுகிறவர்களைத் தேடாதிருங்கள்; அவர்களாலே தீட்டுப்படவேண்டாம்; நான் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய யெகோவா.
“‘Don’t turn to those who are spirit-mediums, nor to the sorcerers. Don’t seek them out, to be defiled by them. I am Adonai your God.
32 ௩௨ “நரைத்தவனுக்கு முன்பாக எழுந்து, முதிர்வயதுள்ளவன் முகத்தைக் கனப்படுத்தி, உன் தேவனுக்குப் பயப்படுவாயாக; நான் யெகோவா.
“‘You shall rise up before the silver haired, and honor the face of an elder old man, and you shall fear your God. I am Adonai.
“‘If a stranger lives as a foreigner with you in your land, you shall not do him wrong.
34 ௩௪ உங்களிடத்தில் குடியிருக்கிற அந்நியனை இஸ்ரவேலனைப்போல கருதி, நீங்கள் உங்களில் அன்புசெலுத்துவதுபோல அவனிலும் அன்புசெலுத்துவீர்களாக; நீங்களும் எகிப்துதேசத்தில் அந்நியர்களாக இருந்தீர்களே; நான் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய யெகோவா.
The stranger who lives as a foreigner with you shall be to you as the native-born among you, and you shall 'ahav ·affectionately love· him as yourself; for you lived as foreigners in the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery]. I am Adonai your God.
“‘You shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in measures of length, of weight, or of quantity.
36 ௩௬ நியாயமான தராசும், நியாயமான நிறைகல்லும், நியாயமான மரக்காலும், நியாயமான படியும் உங்களுக்கு இருக்கவேண்டும்; நான் உங்களை எகிப்துதேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்படச்செய்த உங்கள் தேவனாகிய யெகோவா.
You shall have just balances, just weights, a just ephah [0.63 bushels; 5.9 gal; 22 L], and a just hin [0.98 gal; 3.7 L]. I am Adonai your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery].
37 ௩௭ ஆகையால் என்னுடைய கட்டளைகள், நியாயங்கள் யாவையும் கைக்கொண்டு, அவைகளின்படி நடக்கக்கடவீர்கள்; நான் யெகோவா என்று சொல்” என்றார்.
“‘You shall observe all my regulations, and all my judgments, and do them. I am Adonai.’”
